wondering what created this frothy mess. death trap, officials in california say they are searching through a labyrinth of little rooms looking for more victims following this warehouse fire. nbc 10 news starts now. good morning. this is nbc 10 news today. thanks for being with us. it's 7:00 on this sunday. as we begin to wind down the weekend, we want to prepare you for tomorrow. a wintery mix is going to make for a messy commute in the morning for some of us. we've issued a alert to make sure you're ready. >> that's exactly why we issued it, to let you know ahead of time. right now let's do a little comparison. we're sitting in the low 40s to in some areas the low 30s. millville dropped to 32 degrees.
atlantic city at 33. allentown at 40 right now. in some areas the clouds have held tight. those areas where it's still cloudy this morning seeing the ertemperatures. we're looking at by tomorrow a ot of going to be right near of us are going to see that rain/snow mix. satellite shows it's off to the west and southwest of going to push our direction. as it does so, that's when we bring in the chance of rain and again the rain/snow mix. it's lasting overnight to about 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. that's through your morning commute. after 8:00 a.m. it will start to

a major announcement. take a look at this video weave been gathering all morning for you. stein has called for reforming the system for a long time. there have been allegations but no proof of election result cyber hacking. intwo-thirds of voters use machines like these and they don't have a paper trail. a stein spokesperson says the campaign will continue forging ahead with recounts in philadelphia, montgomery and allegheny countys. we've also learned the grassroots effort dropped after they were asked to pay up. >> there's no evidence to show that somebody acted on those vulnerabilities. >> they really can't know if their vote is going to count and that is a very serious issue especially in the 2016 election. there's been all this foreign interference with the election.
>> stein's campaign wants more than a recount and recanvassing. they're allegeding software in the machines needs to be reexamined. stein's lead attorney has released a statement. the company also says it is committed to fighting for civil and voting rights for all pennsylvanians. coming up, you're going to hear what a lead republican representative has to say from pennsylvania. that's in 30 minutes. stein already filed a suit in federal court for a recount in michigan and a hearing is expected today on when that

township on friday night. the victim was walking to a bus stop when a car hit him from behind. he was 72 years old. police do not have a detailed description of the vehicle but they say it has damage to its front bumper and windshield. a developing story in oakland california, recovery crews expect to find more bodies at the scene of this fire. the death toll stands at nine but could climb. the fire gutted the building during an electronic concert and party friday night. >> i was pulling him out. he was a larger gentleman. there was a lot of stuff in the way. the flames were -- i'm also glad i had this vest on or my whole

chances followed by a big push of colder air. by friday, take a look at this. the cold air we've been dealing it, it plunges to the south to make way for this huge arctic air mass. we're going to be dealing with temperatures that are much colder. if you commute through up land, delaware county, we want to let you know about a road closure. main street upland road between scott avenue and 11th street will be closed to install a gas main from 9:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon every day until december 23rd.

yesterday after he was spotted driving a bus reported stolen earlier in the day. he pleaded guilty to doing the same thing in 2014. at that time his fost father said that elias was obsessed with buses. take a look at this. parts of hawaii right now are under a winter storm warning. we are not kidding. if you happen to be heading there over the next week, you may want to pack a little bit more than just your bathing suit. another foot of snow is possible today on the highest peaks of hawaii's big island, all thanks to a new storm system that will move into the area. about two feet of snow has fallen since thursday. deep snow is very rare. back here in our area, miles away from hawaii, we are also talking snow. >> yeah. and we're looking at the

way. what's going to happen is in the overnight this will continue progressing along to the east. today, though, here's your forecast conditions. 47 in center city. 46 for landsdale. in new jersey, trenton, 45, ocean city, 48. and simmer thit all changes ove. in philadelphia, we see those low. i thi 40s. we'll see rain as we move through the early a.m. hours. by 8 th:00 a.m. this will start move out.
we may see some rain/snow mixture there. we're calling for that in the suburbs. in the lehigh valley we should see snow moving through mixing with some rain as well through about 8:00 a.m. for the poconos about a half an inch to an inch of accumulation is possible. this will be from about 2:00 that we'll start seeing the rain move in and it will move out by 8:00 a.m. what we're looking at here is not just chances of rain early on your monday and rain/snow for north of philly. we're actually looking at rain repeating on wednesday. thursday, rain returns. there's that big change in temperatures. a high of just 38 on your friday. still ahead, first responders in delaware county proved they will stop at nothing to take care of people in need. >> when they broke that door down, this gentleman needed some

these are your new jersey neighbors. we see that mix of mostly upper 30s to right around 40 degrees across the board. you step out the door, little chilly out there. good news is today winds aren't going to be a big factor and upper 40s across oing to move t the map. now we're looking at parts of the lehigh valley and your neighborhoods also sitting in the upper 30s. allentown at 39 degrees. these areas by tomorrow morning this same time should be little. it will start to dry out by monday afternoon but the first alert focused on that morning commute. here's radar and satellite. our area right now, scattered clouds, plenty of sun to skkick off the morning. thicker clouds will build in later today.
you can see that snow line. that's heading our direction. we're looking at the potential for us to see rain and snow as we move into tomorrow morning. here's the hour by hour forecast. it lines up pretty well with what we're currently seeing. lunchtime, clouds starting to push into near delaware. we go into the afternoon. now the clouds are spreading across the board. 8:00 at night, though, no rain yet in our zone. instead it's just starting to move into the further west parts of pennsylvania. now we're going to the early a.m. hours. monday 1:00 a.m. starting to see a rain/snow mix. we go to 2:30 in the morning and it's extending a little further along. to 6:30 in the morning now the whole board is covered with at least rain. but parts of upper bucks county

secretary. >> i think when you look at general mattis who's got respect on both sides of the aisle, both sides are saying they like this pick. of course he does need to get a waiver because normally the rule is you've got to be out of the military at least seven years before you could head up the department of defense. but i think that waiver which both the house and senate would have to give is something mattis can get to another retired general for secretary of state. but i think mattis in particular, some of the other picks, i think so far traditional republicans in particular for the most part are pretty happy with what they've e show a later this morning.
obviously he's been finishing out his time as indiana's governor. talk about how instrumental he was in saving the jobs at the carrier plant. >> there's no doubt this deal doesn't get done if you don't have the cooperation of the governor of indiana. pretty help fuful president-ele that his running mate is still the governor of indiana. and there were tax incentive states do this all the time. many governors offering incentives to a company to either stay or come. this package that was offered to carrier by indiana was very similar to a package they were offered before that they had turned down. according to much of our reporting one of the reasons carrier did it is not because of the role pence played but because frankly they thought the pr hit they would take if they turned it down and trump himself
