for you before you head out the door. erika is tracking a pleasant. fill us in. >> we are seeing a few extra clouds moving into our area, and a live shot over penn's landing. and we are tracking some showers. current temperatures around the delaware valley mainly seeing 60s, and upper 60s for wilmington and philadelphia, but look at this, dover already seeing degrees with a southwesterly influence because we have a warm front move into our area. satellite and radar images. this is from the northwest to the southeast, we have a warm front going to lift that will trigger showers and we are seeing greens on the screen, nothing hitting the ground just yet. this is what we call burga. what can we expect for the day? developing clouds as the day progresses, and showers late but

not a washout and tracking rain for your monday. rosemary, back to you. >> thanks, erika. now for the breaking news we continue to follow out of london. the third terror attacks in as many months have left 17 dead and at least 48 injured. london's majyor said some of th injured are in critical condition. police shot and killed three attackers, and authorities arrested suspected accomplices. another attack in which a driver plowed people on westminster bridge back in march. british prime minister, theresa may, says while the recent attacks are not connected but they are all bound by a single ideology. and the new terror comes days before the parliamentary

elections in britain. and matt has more breaking news center. >> prime minister theresa may said to be frank there's too much tolerance for extremism, and saying essentially enough is enough. and british have arrested 12 people in east london and those arrests made by counterterrorism agents. and police in london have been raiding a building, and as for the attack last night three people involved shot dead and the prime minister said they wore what looked like expolosiv vests but they were fake and were used to cause panic. now with the investigation, a lot of the area around london bridge and the borough market have been closed off. some of the visitors spent the night in improvised spaces.

say is crucial to the investigation. tonight grande will headline one love manchester, a concert to benefit victims of the bombing and their families. other stars like justin bieber, and coldplay, and usher and miley cyrus will perform. and more than 100,000 people are expected to attend. new this morning, back in our area in philadelphia, a man is in the hospital after he was stabbed while trying to make up a domestic dispute and assault in queen village. this happened around 1:00 this morning near fifth street not far from south street. police identified the suspect in this case and they are trying to track down and arrest. police are also investigating a double shooting out of north sreuly. gunfire hit two men. both were shot twice and are in

stable condition at the hospital. right now police do not have any suspects or a motive in this case. neighbors in delaware county are reeling after a toddler was shot and killed in an apparent accident involveding a gun. the deadly shooting happened yesterday in chester township. the boy who was between the ages of 2 and 3 and was called junior found a gun under the bed and shot himself in the chest. it's unclear if anybody will be charged in this case. the suspect accused of stabbing a philadelphia city councilman is under arrest and facing attempted murder charges. sean yarbray denies stabbing councilman oh. police yarbray lives near the councilman's neighborhood and that's where somebody stabbed councilman oh during an attempted robbery.

good sunday morning. current temperatures now in new jersey are pretty warm. pretty nice. in fact we are seeing mostly sunny skies and a few people from the to the north and west seeing partly cloudy skies. and hope township seeing 60s.

conditions right now are nice and warmer, but we have a cooling trend in the works. robinville, 60 degrees. we have, again, temperatures in the 60s and 70s. jersey shore seeing a nice start to the day. ma may's landing, 67 degrees. hour by hour forecast starting this right now and pausing at noon, and notice we are seeing showers move into the area so everything moving from the northwest to the southeast. it's not going to be a totally dry day, and it's not going to be a total washup. i will explain in more detail the forecast. and then watching out lane closures starting tomorrow, and this is the area that will be affected. expect slowdowns and it already gets busy because of traffic in front of st. joe's. the closures will be between 9:00 in the morning and 3:00 in the afternoon, and crews are installing traffic signals. make your movies in

philadelphia. that was part of the message yesterday during a rally to keep the film industry in town. the greater philadelphia film office hosted the valley in front of the art museum. and big names were there including director and philadelphia native that grew up in the penn grove area. councilman, david oh, who is recovering from a stabbing this week, he was at the rally. he said it comes down to the state budget. >> we won't help the deficit by suppressing what is creating money and opportunities and tourism and other things here, and philadelphia in particular. >> councilman oh says he hopes the state budget uncaps the film tax credit. and then police are calling this next oneuncon shkaupconscu.

updating our breaking news out of london, british police say they have arrested 12 people in east london in connection to last night's terror attack. the attack on london bridge and at nearby pubs left seven people

dead and 48 in the hospital. according to investigators police killed the three that carried out the attack. >> announcer: now your nbc10 first alert weather. >> i am meteorologist, erika martin. delaware seeing a few clouds developing but overall a nice start to your sunday. winds are calm, and they will pick up but not a big deal and a warm front pushing through first and then a cold front for tomorrow. temperatures for today nice and warming up nicely. neighborhoods in and around the entire delaware region, glasgow at 67. and georgetown currently at 70 degrees. what about the suburbs, seeing slightly cooler temperatures. and unionville at 65. and malvern also seeing low 60s

take advantage of it because the week ahead will be cool and a bit rainy. >> announcer: nbc10 news starts now. >> this is "nbc10 news today," and i am rosemary conners. it's after 9:30 on this sunday, and i am sure you are wondering what the weather is going to be as you head out the door today. >> that was a lovely shot outside and i wish we were at the beach, but look at the temperatures for those of you who are. wildwood, 71 for you. dover, 70 degrees. nice conditions further south. a little further north, of course, we are seeing cooler temperatures, and that's to be expected, but not that bad. pottstown at 57, and philadelphia at 68 degrees and winds are calm and will pick up just a little bit but overall a nice start to our sunday. however, here's the deal. we have a high pressure system offshore and it's weakening and will continue to work its way

it's this here that will continue to work northeastward. you are seeing lightning strikes right over north western pennsylvania. i have p.m. showers in your forecast. an hour by hour forecast picking up on the clouds moving through. pause this at 5:00 p.m. today. notice it's not organized for the rest of the area, but for the lehigh valley you are seeing showers, not heavy downpours, and these are showers pushing through. the atmosphere is not moist enough at that point and you will see a few sprinkles but it's mostly just developing clouds. by tomorrow we expect more showers, isolated thunderstorms, but tomorrow morning i don't see an issue for your a.m. commute, and it's afternoon, literally afternoon we are seeing pockets of downpours and the threat of isolated thunderstorms in your forecast. and upper 60s by tuesday, and what is the deal? certainly below average for this time of the year. and then next week we are
