morning. the fog won't be around very long. we'll see clearing skies and those showers to the west, i think they're going to stay out of the picture for us today. we should stay dry. warm and muggy to start with. as the day goes on, 50s, we'll warm in the 70s. partly sunny skies and during the day with sunshine this afternoon. a good deal of the sunshine at the shore, too, 75 degrees in land but 71 degrees at the shore. i will break down the forecast hour by hour and how quickly temperatures are warming in your neighborhood. first, jessica boyington, watching your traffic. >> our cameras are right here and west and eastbound side are still looking all right. an incident prompted up a little bit ago. another crash in on east and

main street. 11 minutes only, minor delays, patco and amtrak are all on a close schedule. vai and tracy. police officers are being praised after a man shot him in the leg last night. the first year officer is re recovering after the ordeal, matt, take us through his night. >> reporter: the officer is going to be okay, his fellow officers are being credited of rushing him here to cooper hospital late last night after he was shot in the thigh. this happens after 10:00 last night after eighth and chelton here. this officer was at the intersection and saw a group of three guys walked up to them and one started to run and when the officer caught up with him, the

guy pulled a gun and there was a struggle. the suspect was able to shoot the officer in the leg and his brothers and sisters in blue rushed him to the hospital. they rushed to the scene and help and able to come here wishing him well. we heard from a city councilman and the police chief who are hoping for a full recovery this morning. >> our heart and prayers going out for a speedy recovery. >> we know a bad guy had a gun and doing some bad things, our parole officers intercepting him and taken him off the streets and the gun. there would have been a lots worst events taken place tonight. >> reporter: now the suspect was arrested and in the meantime, the police chief says he was able to talk with the officer and his family last night here at the hospital. the officer is a bit chshaken u.

hughes the third died in the attack. hughes and another man were arguing after minor collision yesterday afternoon and the suspect went into his truck d pulled out a shotgun and killed hughes. one witness describes what he saw. >> he looked to see if he had damage on his car and he comes around and he must have said some words and the other man went and got a shotgun and shot him in the middle of the street. police chart curtis thomas with homicide. new video, witnesses saw the truck careening down on tuesday night at martin luther king boulevard. a witness who almost got hit by the truck says he was afraid it

was another terror attack like the one in manhattan. >> i was panicked and it was a wild scene especially after the new york scene. >> police are trying to figure out what led to the crash but say there is no indication that it was intentional. the driver, the 55-year-old man is in the hospital with serious injuries. >> it is 6:06, allegations of poor conditions at a senior rehab center. the general office puts the place on lockdown you. special agent spent the day at healthcare at sai healthcare. the state's health department says the center is in jeopardy of losing its license because of poor conditions. we are told that the center is making corrections. 6:07 is happening today. closing arguments will begin in

temperatures, delaware, 53 degrees and lehigh valley with some fog. 59 degrees, chestnut hill and you may see some pockets of fog first thing this morning. the fog maybe around this morning. we'll start to see some breaks in the clouds and if not at 8:00 and by 10:00. the fog disappears and these clouds that you see that are moving through parts of the area, that is not producing any rain but they'll be moving out so we'll get a lot of sunshine and cooler spots of clearing over night, although the cooling will turn around. what we are less likely to see. we'll stay dry and temperatures will climb nicely. we are starting in the 50s. that's warm. we are normally in the low 40s this time of the year.

up to 67 degrees at noontime. the cloud and fog clearing out and suburbs of 71 degrees later this afternoon. we'll see a quick warm up in the lehigh valley. a lot of clouds this morning. clouds start to break at 63 degrees and up to 70 degrees at 4:00. we are seeing thick fog this morning in delaware. by noontime, the fog is gone. 70s this afternoon and nice warm up, too, right around 70 degrees at 4:00 today. this is not a the end of the warm weather. with the weekend cool down, there comes a chance of some showers, too. i will break it down in ten

visibilities. the fog have made it into traditional new jersey and wilmington have been reported at the airport, zero visibilities since we went on this morning. clouds over head keeping temperatures in the 60s. everybody is warmer this morning compares to yesterday morning. 11 degrees in redding and 21 degrees warmer this morning. allento allentown, and trenton at 25 degrees warmer. 50s and 60s to start with this morning instead of the 30s and 40s that are typical for the second of november. new jersey, the cooler neighborhoods, that's where you will see pockets of fog. there is still time and we are just over an hour away from sun rise, there is still time for temperatures to come down a little bit more. even if you are fog free right

now, you can see some fog developing first thing in the morning. look at temperatures accelerating. we get some sunshine and a lot of sunshine this afternoon and into the 70s more than 10 degrees above normal this time of the year. a warm day today. clouds are over south jersey and delaware, no sign of showers anywhere. you can see them in western pennsylvania. sunshine and a nice turn around this afternoon. fog will be gone and that happens this morning and sunshine takes over and looking at 70s in philadelphia and allentown and lehigh valley. a nice warm up, pockets of fog will be long gone by late morning. middle 70s in hamilton. at the shore warm up, 74 degrees and atlantic city, and wilmington at 74 degrees this afternoon. the weekend, different story, it is going to get cooler saturday

road. before the county toll, there is about a two miles backup. that's how long the construction project is. vai and tracy. the suspect is facing federal terrorism charges sayfullo saipov was inspired by online isis videos and plotted his attack for two months. he planned to continue his attack on the brooklyn bridge but wrecked before he could get there. he asked to have an isis flag in his hospital room. president trump tweeted that the suspect should get the death penalty. officials released this new image that shows saipov inside the home depot where he rented the truck that used in the attack killed eight people. the fbi is questioning a second pers person, authorities say the
