6:16 am
the picture is pretty. it's mostly cloudy and 57 in central park. it's almost absurd. this temperature has barely moved since last night. the wipeds are calm but it is- -winds are calm but it is cooler. spring like temperatures is what to expect today. i don't think we'll break a record in central park but around the region we will. tomorrow more chance for record breaking warmth. there's a rain chance well north of the city today. tomorrow a slight chance late in the day and monday is the most likely day to see wet weather. thursday 60, yesterday 61, today we climb to 63. tomorrow we think 65 degrees if we can get enough breaks of sunshine. this would set a new record in central park. monday 63 degrees. so for today the high of 63 is the normal high for april 20.
6:17 am
radar picture the clouds over head. for today it will be the clouds moving on through with some breaks of sunshine. note what's happening to our west. there is a warm front getting closer to us as it approaches it may toss a few showers in our direction. today that's an issue well north of the city and it's a minimal risk for places like sullivan, ulster and duchess to get a little activity. this morning partly sunny skies. this afternoon looking good. then this evening at 7 a few showers possible well north of the city. overnight clouds and a little bit of star shine. tomorrow clouds will dominate and we could break a record. as we head towards the evening hours a better bet for showers tomorrow as we round out the weekend but it's on monday we see the best bet for wet weather through the weekend
6:18 am
