silver car got out and was running. loved ones are lighting candle thes at the scene looking at the damage on fulton street after the hit-and-run accident. the nypd collision unit now on scene, and they said the driver lost control at chestnut street and slammed into two parked cars before hitting the pedestrians, identified them as 41 maldanodo and a 61-year-old did not survive as well. his friends and family members are come together scene. israel was just hanging out this evening at the bar his brother owns. >> they are grown and have children of their own, and every dollar in their pocket

captain. police are trying to figure out who he is and what his gripe is about. >> reporter: the relentless radio taunts began just before 6:00 saturday afternoon. the man accessed the nypd radio frequencies, and he was harassing the department. specifically the midtown south precinct and one of its captains. the man never says who he is police, but he implies he's no stranger to the single out captain addressing him with threats. >> remember how you put me in jail? i'm out now, and i'm coming to put a bullet in your head. >> reporter: police have not said if they identified the frequency hacker. they said the threats are not credible, but they are continuing to investigate. >> i will put a bullet into your mother, too, son.

nypd officers threatened over their own radio frequency. the search for a driver who struck and killed two pedestrians. good morning i'm chris wragge. >> and i'm mary calvi. heart break in brooklyn after a hit-and-run driver fatally mowed down two people. >> driver abandoned his took off. magdalena doris is live from the scene. >> reporter: good morning. friends are arriving on scene, telling us about the victims. they were walking home after hanging out at a bar just up the street when they were struck and killed by the vehicle. police say the driver of the silver car got out and started to run after he saw what happened, and he did not stop to help the victims.

and ran off. magdalena doris is live with more. >> reporter: chris and mary, police are looking for the driver of the silver car who took off running after slamming up against two parked cars and hitting and killing the pedestrians. this morning police are on the hunt for the driver as friends come to mourn the men who were lost in the fatal crash. the nypd collision driver of the silver car lost control just after midnight, slamming into the parked cars and then into the two men. 41-year-old delman maldonado was killed immediately, and he believes behind a daughter. 56-year-old father of three israel turcios was with him.
