wreck on southbound i-75. 75.9 on your side's butler and warren county reporter jay warren is live in west chester with more. that's right this slow moving traffic you see behind me is a direct result of a crash just a couple of miles south of here just before the i-275 interchange interchangethe accident happened around 10:30 this morning and what troopers were able to tell me is that the driver of the truck and trailer lost control and started spinning--he side swiped another car traveling in the right lane and when he finally came to a stop that's when the red jeep hit his front passenger sidethe wreck has tied up traffic once again in the southbound lanes here along i-75 so it has been a slow go all morning long through herefortunately no one was hurt in the crash but troopers say it underscores the need for caution on the

avenue near the 275 ramps.a much different story than even just a few hours ago. ago. this was what many experienced this morning lights on the trip into work. this was over at interstate 74 near the north bend exit where traffic backed up heading into the city.road crews worked to keep up with the snow.. salting and scraping away like these trucks here. but mother nature didn't help matters. the cold conditions meant that every flake stuck to streets and sidewalks.about the only ones with as much work as road crews.. were those charged with clearing cars at dealerships like clay cooley nissan here on colerain avenue. we talked with one man who's done it for 19 years about the effort to clear about 400 cars. too quick cgrick corsmeierclay cooley nissan47:23 trust me this is a salesman's worst nightmare. they don't like coming to work today. but you can't sell what you can't see. road crews will be busy with this snow the rest of the afternoon.. but hopefully your way home will be a much smoother trip.reporting live..

we're following another down day so far on wall street. here's a look at the big board. the dow is down nearly 500 points this afternoon.experts say it's largelt due to falling oil prices. at least 20 people are dead in an attack on a university in pakistan. pakistan.islamic militants stormed the school just after classes started today.that led to a gun battle with security forces that lasted for hours. back here in ohio, the fbi is actively investigating a professor at kent state university accused of being linked with isis.julio pino denies the claim.the 55-year- old history professor is not charged with any crime.kent state says it is fully cooperating with the fbi-- which says there is no threat to the school.

a snowy mess.from kentucky, to colerain, and up to west chester.tri-state snow caused problems for people today. right now i-71 southbound is closed due to a crash near the warren/clinton county line. and there's more snow coming. you... but we begin here in the 9 first warning weather center with meteorologist jason adams. snow is moving out of the tri-state and will be clear of our eastern zones by the noon. a winter weather advisory is out for most of the tri-state until 7 p.m. for slick road conditions.heading into the evening, skies will gradually clear as high pressure takes fresh snow will allow the temps to drop back into the teens tonight.thursday will be a quiet day with partly sunny skies with high in the low to mid 30s.the 9 first warning weather team continues to track a system on friday that is now coming more into focus. 2-4" snowfall around greater northern kentucky. but, it's highly dependent on the track stays south, lower totals can north, we could see higher likely going to change again before friday so please come

things are moving along pretty well here as the road surface is wet from treatment but traffic is moving along at almost normal speed speedit was a different story as recently as forty five minutes ago as things were very slow on the southbound sidetraffic was backed up for a couple of miles as troopers worked to clean up a three car wreck along i-75the driver of a pick up truck and trailer lost control and struck another car and then when came to a stop a jeep plowed into himfortunately no one was hurt as a result but troopers say it's a good example of why you need to stay on your guard "be sure that when you are changing lanes the big thing is you'll see where the tire marks are in the roadway and it will get that big mound of slush in between lanes or in the middle of the lanes when you go to switch over change lanes you gotta be safe let of that gas nice and gradual
