developing news this morning--- a man is dead after an apparent ?drowning? reported at a pool at a wauwatosa apartment complex. complex.the milwaukee county medical examiner's office was called out to "serino square apartments" near 100-th and north avenue around 3:30 yesterday afternoon.we're told the man was 61 years old.his name has not been released yet. new details this morning in the death of a child. 3-year-old jayda handy's death has been ruled an accident. now her family... is remembing the little girl . . cbs 58's ?j joins us from the newsroom we ith thlatest on the investigation ?and? the family's tribute to the little girl. jayda hardy was crossing the street to see her grandfather when she was hit by a car and killed. it happened on saturday around 2 p-m at 84th and marion. jayda was celebrating her third birthday day. "happy birthday to you, happy b" birthday...."last night dozens of people gathered at the growing memorial for jayda. her parents and other loved

and dad told the people that their little girl was always smiling.she loved singing in church, and she loved her family. jaylen handy, jayda's dad: "she loved her brother, she wouldn't let anybody mess with him. nobody at all... this is for your sisterin those three short years she 3 made an impact on everybody." according the the medical examiner's report -- speed nor alcohol were a factor int he crash. no charges are expected to be filed in the accident. live in the newsroom jp cbs 58 3 ?new details? about a ?double shooting? on milwaukee's north side.one man is ?dead? and a ?teenager?? is hurt... after a ?fight escalated? to the point of gunfire. gunfire.the shooting happened near 4-th and chambers sunday night.we now know... 29-

say... the injuries to the 13 year old are ?serious.? no arrests reported yet. the family of a man who died at the milwaukee mental health complex four years ago... has filed a civil-rights lawsuit. lawsuit.the family of 25- year-old brandon johnson filed it.... naming a number of doctors.. an insurance company.. and milwaukee county in the suit.johnson was brought to the milwaukee county mental health complex on october 3rd 20-12.the lawsuit says he told employees he hurt himself in a fall.. and co't waist down. he died three days staff did not help johnson... or bring him to the hospital. 3 17-30"brandon complained of having no feeling in his legs, i was told it was just in his head there was nothing wrong with him, we know that the doctor's and other medical professionals ignored his pleas from help" help" 3 an autopsy found johnson died from a blood clot caused by a broken neck. after the incident... several employees

3 milwauke county released this statement in response to the lawsuit:"we cannot comment on open legal matters, other than to say that we take all allegations very seriously." the district attorney expects her to argue that she's ?insane?--- yet police say... a local mother tried to ?hide the body? of the child she confessed to killing. 27-year-old katlyn (kin-uh-tae-durr)...was in a sheboygan county courtroom yesterday. she's accused of ?suffocating? her two-year-old son with a ?plastic grocery bag.?she faces life in prison responding to a 9-11 call ?stopped her with a taser?.... when she came at them with a knife. they then found the toddler's body--- hidden. 48-55it was a cardboard box with either a comfortor or a blanket over him and there were two empty cardboard boxes over that box. and she did admit in a subsequent interview that she made tht 9-11 call. call. dispatcher: what is your emergency?voice: i killed my son.dispatcher" you what? voice: i killed my son.

(kin-uh-tae-durr) told police... she stopped taking ?anti-depressent and anti-anxiety medications? nine months ago. the d -a says... he expects her to plead ?not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.?she's due back in court next week. nats of car crashing into squad squad after ?nearly killing two deputies?--- a milwaukee woman is trying to work out a ?plea deal.?cbs 58 was the firstto obtain this ?dash cam video? of the highway incident back in june."kevina freeman" is safety?... after she backed into a squad car during a traffic stop.a deputy had to "jump"... to avoid getting hit. the other one was holding onto the ?driver's side door.? freeman's ?mother? fell into the concrete median.the next court date in this case... is august 26-th. looking ahead - a franklin pizza shop manager accused of locking a teenaged waitress in the freezer will learn his fate today. today.28-year-old ?chad napierala? admitted to eralsevbusive acts... like restraining the waitress with wash towels and handcuffing

was trying to help the high school junior. ?napierala? faces up to 12 years behind bars if convicted. he'll be in milwaukee county court at 8:15 this morning. 3 in our campaign 2016 coverage--- in less than 90 minutes--- voters here in wisconsin will head to the poll. polls.it's the final state primary before the general election in november. november.cbs 58's kyle aevermann joins us live from waukesha with what you need to know before you head to the polls.kyle? state officials are expecting a 16 percent voter turnout, but it is still a very important race.this is just one of many spots across southern wisconsin voters will come to cast their ballots. one of the races, voters here in waukesha will be voting for is us senators. russ fiengold and scott harbach are running on the democratic ticket.while ron johnson is running unopposed for republicans.

3 a man from scotland competing in week-long run across china's gobi desert picked up a new running partner -- a little dog.the stray..named "gobi"... stuck with the
