entrance ramps to i-894 nb are now closed until fall 2016a new zipper 3 we start at six with breaking news in manitowoc county-- a business fire in kiel. kiel.crews from neighboring communities are trying to put out a fire at the "true value hardware store" on fremont street. they've been working on the flames for about an hour now.no reports of injuries. we have a crew on the way.we'll bring you an 3 also new this morning. a milwaukee teenager is behind bars after leading police on a high speed chase in a stolen ve. vehcile.. cbs 58's kyle aevermann is following the developments and joins us live with the details. kyle? that chase started near brown deer road and 60th and ended 5 miles away in a resident neighborhood at 84 and carmen. brown deer police tell usan officer tried to stop the driver around 11:30 last night

off...driving through several red lights at speeds of up to 70 miles per hour.the teen then hit a car near 76 and good hope road, but continued driving.he ended up flipping the vehicle over near 84 and carmen in milwaukee.... in front of an apartment complex, and crashed into a tree.the entire chase lasted a little more than 5 miles.the suspect was arrested on charges of fleeing an officer, recklessly endangrouing safety, hit and run, and operating without owners consent. despite all of this, police tell us no one was hurt.live in brown deer.kyle aevermann. cbs58 news. 3 milwaukee police are investigating a deadly shooting this morning.it happened in the area of 18th and hadley street.an officer discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound .. while patrolling the area. the 18-year-old man died on scene. circumstances surrounding the shooting are still unclear. this morning... dozens of

deadly apartment fire. about 40 people were left homeless when a fire ripped through the multi-unit apartment building early sunday. 3 the fire was put out in under an hour but you can see from these pictures just how large the flames were. the building was cost effective housing for low-income residents. many of the units here were destroyed -- and we're told the complex won't be rebuilt. the red cross moved in yesterday to set up a shelter and help these displaced residents. one woman who yesterday -- she doesn't know what she'll do next. do you know what youre going to do next?...pray. just pray. thats iti cant believe yesterday i had a place to live and today i dont have a place to live...you cant put that into words theres no words to describe that feeling feeling 3 the red cross says if you would like to help residents herethey are always looking for donations 3 a local group is working to

it's part of the continuting effort to ?heal? following chaos in sherman park last weekend... aftera milwazukee police officer shot and killed a man. many families showed up to hear from people who've been impacted by violence in milwaukee.kids were also reminded about how important education is. and they got a little help for the upcoming school year... with ?free? backpacks and haircuts. organizers hope students see that violence is not the answer. :05- 17 a lot of things have happened this summer. it's been a crazy summer for these them the opportunity to have a woo-sah moment and relax a little bit and go back to school with a positive mentaili" mentaility." 3 the event had music and games.. to keep the energy going. organizers have a similar event planned for december. and just a reminder-- sherman park is still closing at six every night. night.a curfew is also still being enforced.that means if you're 17 and under...you must be in the house by 10 p-m

officials say the curfew will stick around until further notice. 3 for more information about how you can get involved..or updates on community events about violence. head to our website cbs 58 dot com. 3 new details this morning in a car crash that took the life of a 64-year-old woman at 27th and wells in milwaukee. milwaukee.it happened last night just after six. milwaukee police say a car ran a red light and was t-boned in the intersection. police say the woman who died was a passenger in one of the cars. two people in the other car were also hurt. band "three doors down" died before a performance in wisconsin this weekend. weekend.according to his father... matt roberts died at the hampton inn in we bend. west bend police ey found him dead in the hallway. the 38 year old was in town to perform at the "rockin for heroes" benefit concert... which raises money for the honor flight program.roberts left the band in 20-12 for health reasons. the home of a green county woman accused of hoarding nearly 100 cats has been ordered "demolished."

remove 42 dead cats including some placed in her freezer from her home in monroe wisconsin. some of the 50 cats rescued are looking for homes at the green county humane society. the 78-year-old could still faces criminal charges. 3 3 the packers are on a roll with their preseason this year.. putting up two wins in a row. while some fans have been talking about when we're going to see fan favorites like aaron rodgers, clay matthews others are talking about the packers defense. the defense held the browns and raiders to a total of one offensive touchdown....and kept both thems from getting 200 total yards a game. the defense even managed to force two turnovers in each game. after finishing 18th in the league in takeaways last season... that's a major focus at lambeau field this year. damarious randall/packers cornerback: "we're pursuing the football. that's what we've been harping on since

making news around the world- and several others hurt during a bombing at a wedding in turke. turkey.it happened saturday.... in a kurdhish neig. neighborhood.turkey's president says... a suicide bomber between the ages of 12 and 14.... is ?responsible? for the attack. the wedding took place on a street.that's common practice in the region-- especially during the summer months. 3 in minnesota -- the search for a missing girl has ended. the 5-year-old's body was found nearly 150 miles from her home. a 26-year-old man is now charged in her death.

president obama ordered fema to make all resources available to help in the recovery.he scheduled a visit to that area tomorrow. 3 in your health watch -- there are continued efforts in florida to slow the spread of the zika virus. virus.workers in miami beach started lathering mosquito spray around the city.. after learning last week the virus was found there.the news is especially troubling to pregnant women in that area. we hope to bring you live pictures in just a few minutes. 3 now to a developing story..a deadly ?fire? at an apartment complex in sheboygan. one person is dead and dozens of people are displaced. "there's a pounding on my door. and it's a police officer saying i have to get out there's a fire." fire." fire officials tell us one person died in the fire at the "embers apartment complex." at least 40 other people are in a temporary red cross shelter this morning... just down the road.some of them told cbs 58 they don't have family in the area. others say they have nothing left. can't believe yesterday i had a place to live and today i don't have a plae to live. you can't put that into words. there's no words to describe that feeling." feeling." the state fire marshal is investigating.there's no official word yet on what happened.the red cross says they are accepting "financial" donations to help those displaced by the fire. new this morning---a milwaukee teenager is behind bars after police say... he led them on a high speed chase in a stolen miles.the chase ended when the teen crashed the car and hit a tree near 84th and carmen in mi. milwaukee.cbs 58's kyle aevermann joins us now live with more details.kyle? that chase began not far from the police station at 60th and brown deer. police tell us that the vehicle was listen as stolen from milwaukee.that teen drove at speeds of 70 miles an hour, running through red lights and crashing into a second vehicle near 76th and good hope road.

3 3 a milwaukee man is now charged with arson... after investigators say... he ?set fire to a van? on the city's south side during the unrest last weekend.police say.. he told them quote--- "we wanted to do the same thing here... that we did on sherman boulevar" boulevard."19-year-old ?dale (foley)" is accused of torching a van in the parking lot of the "pick n' save" near 18-th and national.he was in court on saturday for charges of ?arson and bail jumping.? according a criminal complaint -- (foley) was with a group of people when one person ?broke out the wi (foley) then ?lit a napkin on fire?... and threw it into the van.he ?ran from the scene?--- but police caught him just five blocks away.(foley's) bond is set at 25-hundred dollars.if convicted on the charges--- he faces up to five years behind bars. 3 three other men face charges... for ?breaking into a liquor store? during the unrest.investigators believe the men burglarized the "clarke liquor store" near 47-th and burleigh. burleigh.two of the three told detectives they didn't ?take? anything.they said... other people were ?already in the

as the city continues to move forward after last weekend's chaos... hundreds of people gathered for an event on the city's ?south? side... a "stop the violence" rally-- that was planned even before the unrest. unrest.organizers say the goal of yesterday's rally.. was to make a good impression on children.jose rodriguez and his group are trying to reach those kids to let them know there are options other than a life of crime.families showed up to hear from people who've been impacted by violence in milwaukee. elaine mccarty's son died in 20-10... after he was shot travels across the city to encourage people to put the guns down. 3 "with my son leaving, i decided never to be afraid. but it started with foregiveness." a lot of things have happened this summer. it's been a crazy summer for these kids. we just want to give them the opportunity to have a woo-sah moment and relax a little bit and go back to school with a positive mentaility." mentaility." to keep the energy going there was music and games. also- free backpacks and haircuts
