3 roads are in great shape this morningweather should not impact the morning drive.i-94 eb will be closed overnight at moorland rd. through the zoo for roadwork.drivers take note that the water st. bridge leading into the historic third ward is now closed until december 16th 2016. the bridge will undergo some upgrades to its locking system. drivers should use alternates to get around this closure.another reminder that the i-41/894 sb exit ramp to greenfield ave. is now closed through the summer of 2018 for reconstruction. the on ramp from greenfield ave. to i- 41/894 sb will close through the fall of 2017. also closing long term, the lincoln ave. exit ramp from i-894 sb is expected to remain that way through summer of 2018.

new this morning...one man is seriously hurt after an overnight shooting on milwaukee's south side. side.it happened around two this morning near 13th and rogers.police say a 25 year-old man fighting with several others when he was shot.he was taken to a local hospital where he is expected to survive.milwaukee police are looking for suspects this morning. 3 now to an excluse man trying to break up a fight between some teenage girls in racine... winds up in the hospital. and one man who watched the fight happen... spoke with cbs 58. 58.eric ellis says he was on when he saw a group of teenage girls yelling and fighting in the middle of the street.he says one of the girls grbed a hammer out of her car.. and started charg ing atanother man who was trying to break up the fight.ellis says when that man took the hammer ay... things took a turn for the worst. he says the girl got in her s-u-v.. and ran him over

minutes... and rushed the man to the hosptial. "people thought he was dead. he did probably black out right away from the impact, but he was moving around once they got him on the strecher." strecher." police we spoke to wouldn't tell us what condition the man was in... but did say it seems like he will be o-k. investigators say they're still gathering information.. no one is in custody. 3 looking ahead--- the man charged in a wrong way crash on i-43... is expected to make his ?plea? today in court. christmas is just around the corner and new york city is ready to light up.a christmas tree arrived at the rockefeller center in manhattan this weekend.the 94-foot long norway spruce was cut down in upstate oneonta thursday.it is the second tallest tree to ever grace rockefeller center.the lighting ceremony is scheduled to take place on november 30-th of this year. 3 area firefighters are "warming up winter" for milwaukee students.starting today... milwaukee firefighters will donate winter coats to seven thousand students in the city of milwaukee. milwaukee firefighters have en beaising money throhout the year to support the campaign.this past june.. people in the area helped raise nearly 130- thousa dollars toward the effort.at the end of this year campaign... milwaukee ghtershave donated 23-thousd new winter coats to children across 4 milwaukee area schools...over a five year period.

no evacuation orders. 3 chicago police are sending a message to gang members and violent offenders.the police department launched an initiative this weekend to crack down on crime and drugs ...with the help of federal and state agencies. agencies.their goal is to break up gangs in the so-called "hot zones" on the city's west and south sides. there have been more than six- hundred homicides in chicago this year ...a the city is on track to have its deadliest year in two decades.chicago's police superintendent says more violence will not be tolerated.
