at seven miles per hour, 18 in melbourne and 20 in cocoa beach. 37 degrees up in daytona beach. great chilly morning at this time. a couple of spots see very light rain. in 11:00 or maybe noontime. kara: 6:02, now to that breaking news. a massacre inside an orlando nightclub. two people dead and six others hurt. gunfire erupted inside glitz ultra lounge on universal boulevard just before 1:00 a.m.. police officers blocked off the area overnight. homicide detectives are still there. they do not have any information out about a possible suspect. we have recorded trouble at

two men were shot in the parking lot, and last june a man was seen ducking for cover. we reached out to glitz but have not heard back. >> we had barbecues, cookouts. he was a typical kid. kara: devastated friends remembering a man murdered outside a publix in claremont. the search continues for the gun man who killed andrew jones. matt grant spoke with a grieving neighbor. matt: the victim' s friend is wondering the same thing police are. who would do such a thing and why? police are not sure why andrew jones was shot and killed friday night at his claremont home. his friend and neighbor kenny kyle says he is still in shock.

kara: a backpack was found at the crime scene along with five shell casings. horrified customers looked on. it happened at the publix east towne center plaza. police do not have a motive or suspect' s description and it is unclear if anything was captured on surveillance. witnesses say they sought a -- sought a white car leaving the scene. >> we had barbecues, cookouts. he was a typical kid. kara: jones' s neighbor tells me he does not know who would want to hurt him. he played high school football, liked the philadelphia eagles and was interested in a career in music. >> i was shocked.

police say if you hear that -- see that vehicle, call them immediately. in claremont, matt grant. kara: the shooting outside the florida mall is a double homicide. 19-year-old samuel dustin died last night. he collapsed inside the jcpenney entrance friday night. first responders found andrew garland shot near a car. he died at the hospital. both men were from broward county. new information about a deadly crash last night in de leon springs. the carved beard off u.s. 17 and flipped near dawson brown road. the driver, mary hernandez, died as she was thrown from the car. three passengers were treated for minor injuries. troopers do not know why

preferential treatment. kara: that sinking sip situation ended up eating a metaphor. it still got plenty of laughs. it is the biggest day of the year for football fans, advertisers, and chicken wings. super bowl sunday is here. more than a million fans are in the bay area. the halftime lineup just got more star-studded. bruno mars will join beyonce and coldplay. a look at some of the numbers, the cheapest ticket on stub hub is now $2850. fans will gobble up 1.3 billion game. that is according to the national chicken council. fortune magazine estimates a $5 million. hopefully there will be some good ones.

legoland is planning its second expansion in a year. paperwork was just filed for a new resort called project of oasis. you are looking at video of the legoland hotel which opened last may. the new resort will be built on vacant land across from the legoland parking lot. it is a gamble so big it could only happen during the super bowl. companies spending millions of dollars on 32nd ads hoping you will buy their product. it is -- 30 -second ads. hoping you will buy their product. >> this year ' s target funny bones. >> humor is the most used. >> doritos using unknowns to deliver laughs but skittles

watching, advertisers hope the last laugh is theirs. kara: i love that shot. you can use stats, flipped a coin, or animals to predict who wins but the brevard zoo sent us this video. the cheetahs have made their choice. two went with the panthers and only one pick the broncos. jason: have you ever been to the zoo? kara: what is really cool is brevard county residents actually built -- there was an old zoo and the animals were left there -- and the community built the zoo on wickham road. you can go zip lining, kayaking around, and it is really cool. kara: my son would love that. dave: the giraffes did not pick the broncos to win.

dave: over in melbourne, love it over there, and we are seeing chilly conditions in the harbor city. feeling like 40 because of that windchill and there you have it. temperatures generally in the 40' s. they have dipped a bit and they are going to fall one or two more degrees because we are going to have this cloud cover all morning long. quite breezy in orlando, 17 in cocoa beach. 30' s, maybe even 30 miles per hour offshore. small craft advisory. dangerous boating conditions because of those winds. that is how it actually feels. 37 in daytona beach, 41 in osceola' s outdoors in winter haven. we have this system rolling up the eastern seaboard dragging moisture.

>> local, live, late-breaking. this is wesh 2 news sunrise in high definition. cara: we' re following breaking news on sunrise. a barrage of bullets hit eight people inside an orlando nightclub. the information just into our newsroom. >> he was a great kid. he really was. cara: and we' re now hearing from a friend of a man killed in the parking lot of a lake county publix. i' time now is 6:30 on this sunday morning.

there are going to be a lot of eyes on super bowl 50 later on this afternoon. if you are watching, you may be thankful that you are watching indoors. it is going to be a chilly day to watch the panthers and the broncos. here is first alert meter office dave cocchiarella. dave: wayne, clouds, and cold weather. that is the call for this afternoon. the clouds should eventually clear. taking a look outside, that is lake eola. you see a bit of orange hue, that is not the sun. that is the light of downtown orlando, reflecting off of the clouds. gives you an idea of how low the clouds are this morning. some light sprinkles are not out of the question between now and 9:00, 10:00, or 11:00 this morning. yes, temperatures are cold. below typical for this time of year. with the wind, you have to shave off six or seven degrees for the windchill.

c.c., license plate, n91-3qi. if you see it, you' re asked to call 911 and stay away. we' re pushing for answers in a double homicide, outside the florida mall. last night, 19-year-old samuel dustin died from his injuries. on friday, he rushed into the j.c. penney, and collapsed near the entrance. another man, 20-year-old andrew garland, was found shot in a car. he was pronounced dead minutes later. both men had broward county addresses. deputies haven' t named any suspects. new video into our newsroom overnight. you have to see the hole a truck punched in one orlando business. this crash happened on orange blossom trail near cypress street. you would know it was that intersection, except the truck also took out the street sign. we' ll let you know as soon as

two people are now suing ucf over the enormous data breach, announced just days ago. more than 63,000 people may have their personal information exposed. wesh 2' s matt lupoli dug through those court documents. matt: wesh 2 news has obtained a lawsuit, filed against the university of central florida, in response to a data breach that affected tens of thousands of people. ucf officials announced, records were accessed without authorization, compromising names and social security numbers of current and former employees. many of the them students, athletes, and others with affiliations to the school, dating back to the 1980s. nearly 63,000 records were compromised. wesh 2 spoke to one victim we aren' t identifying, on the night the breach was announced. >> hopefully, knock on wood, everything will be ok. it is still unsettling , knowing that your identity could be in the hands of someone else.

breach is the worst of its kind, second only to medical records breach. matt: now, lawyers representing two other victims, logan berkowitz and anthony furbish, have filed a class action complaint against the school in federal court. on behalf of themselves and the others affected, they allege ucf failed to adequately protect their information. the lawsuit also moves to request documentation of any other possible breaches and cyber training practices, security policies, budgets, and other information from over the past five years. the lawsuit also critiques the schools handling of the breach, and it seeks damages to be determined by a jury trial. in orlando, matt lupoli, wesh 2 news. cara: ucf is sending letters to those affected. the university has also launched a website and call center for those impacted. we have contact information posted on our website inside wesh.com. new from overnight. global outrage over north korea' s rocket launch. while the country celebrates,

defense officials plan to talk with the u.s. about a missile defense system. south korea believes the rocket was a cover-up to test banned technology for a long-range missile. but north korea says, the launch was to send a satellite into space. in commitment 2016, the new hampshire primary is now just two days away. nbc' s steve handelsman shows us, who became the primary target for republicans in their final granite state debate. steve: surging in new hampshire polls, marco rubio was defensive, knowing he' d get slammed for being a first term senator. marco rubio: i think it' s not the experience, but how it worked out. steve: the attack came from governors. >> you have not been involved in a consequential decision, where you had to be held accountable. you just havent. steve: chris christie and former governor jeb bush. >> you learn this. you learn it by doing it. >> we' re gonna win. we'

in other parts of central florida, it feels like it is in the upper 30' s. with the cloud deck, temperatures tend to be pretty consistent across central florida. that is what we are seeing in central florida this morning. with the wind, it has been fairly fresh throughout the day today. 25 miles per hour in cocoa beach. they could pick up later today. gus as high as 30 degrees. with the wind, we are talking about windchill. 39 degrees is how it feels in kissimmee. beach. the windchill is stripping the heat away from your body. not only does it take the heat away from your body, but it causes your body' s metabolism to try and burn more for more heat. that is why you will feel so cold. if you are going to be outside this morning, the windchill will be a factor.

cara: a former super bowl champion, and ucf head coach, lost his superbowl ring, and thought he' d never get it back. as wesh 2' s pat clarke explains, mike kruczek waited years, until the phone rang. >> it was thrown off on that side. now, the shrubbery was not there. there were weeds. this was two and half years ago. pat: he is talking about his superbowl ring. two and half years ago is when he lost it.

we' ll let you know as soon as police give us more information. two people are now suing ucf over the enormous data breach, announced just days ago. more than 63,000 people may have their personal information exposed. wesh 2' s matt lupoli dug through those court documents. matt: wesh 2 news has obtained a lawsuit filed against the university of central florida in response to a data breach that affected tens of thousands of people. ucf officials announced records were accessed without authorization, compromising names and social security numbers of current and former employees. many of them students, athletes and others with affiliations to the school, dating back to the 1980s. nearly 63,000 records were compromised. wesh 2 spoke to one victim we aren' t identifying on the night the breach was announced. >> hopefully, everything will be ok.
