just two days now until the primary. donald trump will make us up -- make a stop in boca raton. rubio is celebrating his win in the washington dc caucus, beating out john kasich by just 50 votes. donald trump is leading the race with 460 delegates. ted cruz picked up nine of the 12 up for grabs in wyoming. he is 97 delegates behind the front runner. john kasich, 54. it takes 1230 seven delegates to win the republican nomination. the violence inside and outside donald trump' s rallies are dominating headlines. this is new video into our newsroom of kansas city police pepper spraying protesters. this happened just hours after a

they are blocking off north lakewood avenue. the boy was pronounced dead. the deputies do not know who he is or have any suspects. claremont police have identified the pilot as dane sheahen and the passenger is james kos. their plane went down just before 9:00 a.m.. some believe sheahen' s last seven -- last-minute decision saved lives. >> a headset bengals -- bengals -- dangles. >> an explosion like a backfire but it wasn' t. >> the plane narrowly missing him.

he was trying to save everybody else. >> the aircraft went down at south lake hospital in claremont, an area surrounded by residential homes. the crash did not cause a fire. there was nothing he could do. >> i saw the guy was gone. >> investigators are trying to figure out why the plane crashed. investigators combed the wreckage of the experimental aircraft which is sold in kits and build at home. the 2002 aircraft was registered near chicago to a pilot with ties to volusia county. >> we do not know where the plane took off from norway their destination was. >> the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

>> knew from overnight, orange county deputies are working to find a man' s killer. gunshots rang out at the silver hills apartment. when deputies got there, they found the man shot to death in the parking lot. they do not know who he is or who may have pulled the trigger. six members of one family are hurt after an accident at a gun range. an antique shotgun went off well a man was loading it saturday afternoon at the range. afro children along with -- four children along with their father and grandfather were hit with birdshot. the investigation is getting started into what caused this fire. firefighters sent these pictures of flames shooting from a home

it took 20 minutes to get that fire under control. >> a new report reveals an orlando officer was given a reprimand for a brawl a homeless man last year. this is james wilson and a man named terre johnson fighting in august. >> know it, i am not threatening you. i feel threatened. >> we were through the investigation on wilson. officer wilson repeatedly used insolent language and of mocking manner. prior to the incident, wilson told investigators it was not per policy and could have been better. johnson has been acquitted of several charges. >> new information in the case against a pest control company blamed for giving a 10-year-old boy brain damage.

owner and a worker have pleaded guilty. the boy' s family says they were told their home was safe after it was fumigated. after they returned, the boy got sick. sentencing is set for may. coast guard calling off the for a tugboat that slammed through a barge in the hudson river. >> there are state police divers who are now using sonar to determine where the tugboat is resting and how it is resting. to see it is safe for the divers to approach that tug at the bottom of about 40 feet of water. >> the boat was one of three tugs pushing the barge down the hudson.

>> bikers will be revving their engines and writing out of daytona beach. like week is at an end. many restaurants have been booked solid since last friday. police are warning you to be extra careful. bikers are not the only ones partying it up. spring breakers are soaking in the beach and maybe some booze. the party the city is not, -- promoting >> daytona beach was the spring break destination but city leaders did not like the reputation. the numbers dwindled, however it looks like they are coming back. >> spring break is going great right now. be bike week but don' t tell the college crowd.

we are in the dog days of summer. 70 degrees. we are getting close to late spring, early summer conditions for today. around central florida doctors are above normal for this time of year. light sprinkles off of the gulf of mexico. we will look for it more of that throughout the late morning hours. by the afternoon today we are talking about the potential for thunderstorms as it moves off the gulf of mexico. things heat up this afternoon, some of these storms in the late afternoon hours could become on the strong side. models showing them weakening throughout the afternoon. an umbrella is not the worst idea. expect to be warm and humid all day. cara: thank you. we' re following breaking news a teenager shot to death in ocoee. right now, deputies have blocked off north lakewood avenue at anderson place. the boy was pronounced dead just after midnight. deputies do not know who he is or have any suspects. as soon as we learn more, we' ll

inside the wesh 2 mobile app. deputies are also searching for clues in a deadly shooting near pine hills. gunshots rang out at 11:00 last night at the silver hills apartments. the complex is off silver star road, near pine hills. when deputies got there, they found a man shot to death in the parking lot. they do not know who he is or have any suspects just yet. turning to commitment 2016 and some new developments while you were asleep. marco rubio and ted cruz each won a caucus. while donald trump is still leading the race, ted cruz picked up delegates with a win in wyoming and marco rubio, getting a boost from voters in washington, d.c. hillary clinton also is claiming victory this morning. if you include those super delegates she just won in the northern mariana islands caucus, she has a big lead over bernie sanders.

576. it takes 2238 to win the democratic nomination. senator bill nelson is hoping to give hillary clinton a boost. today, he' ll be campaigning on her behalf in eatonville. he plans to go to a service at the macedonia missionary baptist church this morning. both donald trump and marco rubio are stumping in the sunshine state today. trump will be in boca raton and rubio will hold a rally in the villages. rubio' s wife thanked local volunteers in orlando yesterday. >> when i came in and i saw so many people, people from around the country, over here supporting marco, it was overwhelming. i have to be honest. it makes everything marco is doing worth it. cara: rubio is still trailing behind trump in his home state. early voting is done, unless you live in orange county. but that' s not stopping donald trump from accusing the state of election fraud. wesh 2'

these allegations. reporter: elections officials predict floridians will have cast as many as two million votes during the early voting period before polls even open for tuesday' s primary election. those votes, are now at the center of an argument between state officials and the gop front-runner. donald trump is calling the early vote dishonest on his twitter account, accusing florida sen. marco rubio of rigging it, and calling on law enforcement to look into it. state elections officials are disputing his claim saying they' ve heard nothing of problems, irregularities or formal complaints. sen. rubio: we have disagreements, of course we do. we' re americans. we have an opinion about everything but we cannot allow american politics to turn into the comments section of a blog, where people think they can say whatever they want and there won' t be consequences for it. reporter: sen. rubio is making a big push to win at home, with several campaign stops across the state, many here in central florida.

wesh 2 political analyst eddie fernandez tells us momentum may be on rubio' s side. >> what we are seeing is the comeback kid marco ru bio could actually pull ahead of trump in this cycle cara: donald trump is now claiming a man who jumped onto stage during a rally, has ties to isis. [indiscernible] cara: secret service agents took down the guy saturday in dayton, ohio. so far, no investigators have commented on whether the suspect has any connection to terrorism. protests continued outside trump' s next rally in kansas city. mr. trump: i hope these guys get thrown into jail. they will never do it again, it will destroy their record. they will have to explain to mom and dad why they have a police record and why they can' t get a

his own. >> i think the guy knew he was in trouble and the field back here is the perfect place. he was trying to save everybody else . cara: federal investigators will try to figure out what went wrong. apopka police say a woman has confessed to shooting and killing her boyfriend. 34-year-old sean ware was shot friday night on east 13th street. he later died at the hospital. police say his girlfriend is cooperating with detectives and so far, hasn' t been charged. no word yet on why she allegedly did it. a judge has downgraded the charge against an elderly tavares man to second-degree murder. police say 89-year-old carl lange killed his longtime companion on friday and they intervened before he could commit suicide. tavares police say lange and rosemary getz had a

a judge set bond on saturday at $100,000. this morning, two suspected burglars are off the streets -- the deputy died in a wrong way crash in tampa. the other driver also died. from the nbc affiliate in tampa tells us he had only been on the job six years. reporter: the deputy first made the news after rescuing a kick in from everywhere last year. no one could have imagined the second headline with this deputy an incredible loss. >> what a loss this is for the department. [no audio] yet.

these men and women, they are out there trying to protect everybody. these guys are very concerned about the drivers at night. in fact this deputy had hoped to investigator at some point in his career. reporter: colleagues tell us kotfila was the definition of who should be a deputy. caring, compassionate and understanding. someone who went the extra mile. coming from a family in law enforcement. sheriff david gee remembers his graduation. >> i do especially remember him because his father is a state trooper in another state and i remember at his graduation his father wore the uniform of that state agency so, kinda sticks out to me. reporter: law enforcement officers understand the dangers of their profession. they routinely interact with some of the seediest elements in society.

t make sense is a deputy this young, with this much promise, dying in a senseless crash. cara: he was part of a team that helped adults find special needs children. we are waiting to find out the name of the person killed in this crash. we had this story 24 hours ago. police say one person died after crashing into the concrete pillar that holds the maitland boulevard exit sign. the car then caught fire. police do know the name of the driver killed, but aren' t releasing it. it is 6:40 right now. it is going to feel like summer. we are talking about spring, changing clocks. it is 100 degrees out. dave:
