investigating. let's go to some video. 4 people confirmed dead in the fiery crash. it happened just before 10:00 on mlk boulevard near us 301 in tampa. the wreckage is mangled and charred. you can actually see an engine to one of the vehicles that was tossed to the side of the road. 4 vehicles were involved, 3 badly damaged including a minivan. where told one deputies arrive some people out of those vehicle that were on fire at the time -- vehicles that were on fire at the time . at least one person was taken to the local hospital but no word on that person's condition at this hour. again, 4 people dead possibly flies including some children we are hearing. we're just waiting to get that confirmed from fhp and when we do we will bring you the latest up dates. we have more breaking news for you now out of hillsboro county.

live picture from the scene. this is off lutz lake fern road in hillsboro county. where told the driver ran off the road and hit an electric meter. the car flipped and smashed into the garage of the home. no one in the home was injured. we are making calls to find out more. a safety harbor man faces drug and trout neglect charges after his 10-year-old son calls 911 saying he was scared d where he was. he told dispatch that his dad was sleep in the car and he would wake up. mary is live now at the pinellas county jail. >> reporter: the story becomes even more tragic when you hear the details of exactly what happened. where told this 10- year-old boy was wandering around the parking lot just looking for an adult to help him as his dad was passed out in a car. deputy say this all

john in this parking lot passed out in his car and high on something. they also found various prescription pills and his scared 10-year-old son. this follows other incidents throughout the country of adults passing out in vehicles with children present. on saturday indiana police arrested this mother passed out in her car with syringe in her hand and her baby in the back. in this horrible scene drug overdose with the 4-year- old in the car. by posting these images they hope to get the public and up close look at the drug addiction problem in our country. the 10-year-old boy is now with the relative. he had no idea where he was when he called 911. the father is still behind bars this morning in the pinellas county jail being held on $9000 bond.

where the vehicles collided around 9:45 last night. crews spent hours cleaning up the scene. fhp troopers clearing the scene. this happened at mlk junior boulevard near the 301. you can see the wreckage is mangled and charred. an inch into one of the vehicles that was tossed to the side of the road. fhp troopers vehicles involved in the wreck and three are badly damaged including a minivan. when troopers and deputies arrived, they had to rescue people from the burning vehicles. back life, one person was transferred to a local hospital and there is no word on that person's condition. four people and potentially five, including children, killed in this bad accident.

the skyway bridge looking at the hump. we have an accident tying up the right lane and the right shoulder. you can see people squeezing by on the left. this is southbound on the skyway bridge. you can see the backup. you need to leave about 10 minutes early at this point. it's a five minute delay, but if you are getting out of the house right now, tried to leave 10 minutes early. i also want to talk about the issue at lutze and heritage harbor. take vandyke to the south in said -- instead. there is still a lot of activity and you can see the tracks. they have been out there working on power lines and this is due to a fatal crash not too far away from here where it car ran into a house. they are still trying to get all of those power lines fixed and wrapped up here.
