around 15 miles per hour. we'll call it breezy for the afternoon and calling for a decent warmup as well. the numbers get to 86 degrees this afternoon which is 4 degrees above normals. looking at what to expect for the rest of your saturday and preview next week coming up. thank you very much. we're following breaking news. there's a search on for a driver who hit a polk county deputy and a motorist he was helping the iv the motorist was killed. news channel 8 joining us live along state road 60 where they remain on scene. how is the deputy doing? >> he has a broken pelvis, luckily he is expected to live. right now, investigators are still doing a little bit of an investigation, they are expected to wrap up soon. i want to show you some of the video from earlier this morning.
when deputy adam noticed a motorist on the side of stated road 60 and stopped to help he turned on his lights in the patrol car and called for help. a vehicle drove into the median striking the officer and the motorist. the motorist died at the scene they do not have any information about the car involved in the accident. they ar come forward, but right now they're begging for your help. >> they should look for a vehicle with front end damage and look for someone they know that can't explain how the damage got there, acting suspicious, someone who brings a car in for work and can't explain how the damage got there. if anybody has someone they're related to who was out this time of the night, they need to talk

davis was arrested friday night for having sex with a 16-year-old student. the incident occurred at 7:00 a.m. thursday at an undisclosed location off of campus. davis admitted to having inappropriate sexual contact with the student and faces charges. right now, an apparent case of road rage leaves one man dead and now the search is on for the the 21-year-old's motorcycle is in pieces after he flew off of it. it began in a parking lot about a mile from the crash scene. he and another driver bumped into each other, exchanged words and ten minutes later, one of them was dead. >> i'm broken inside. but he would want me to be strong. >> family members say that zachary was sticking up for his
incident. a crash that killed five people. police believe this snap chat recorded the speed of the driver who ran head onto family in a minivan. he and his passenger died. the woman and her children were in the minivan and died as well. a heart breaking crash in polk county, a brother sister killed yesterday morning on their way to school. they were hit as they turned onto highway 27. the men in the truck expected to survive. they do not believe that speed or distraction played a role. presidential candidates continue to fight for the 29 electorial votes. hillary clinton will attend a canvas kickoff rally today and tonight, she will join jennifer

but first, let's clear something up. is it a re-opening of the investigation? >> it is not at this point. they found the e-mails that came through. the story was unusual because the fbi director came out with to letter very unexpectedly and very vague. by the end of the day, we learn that the e-mails were found on a computer belonging weiner. so the investigation is looking into the e-mails because the e-mails have to be scrubbed through the state department to look and see whether or not the original investigation was dealing with classified information on clinton's private server. there's no evidence so far that the e-mails were on her private server they were on or connected to the computer. >> there's a policy about
>> the department of justice started to do this before the selections in 2008. they have a 60-day policy where they don't want investigations before a major election that can give an advantage to one side or the other. lawmakers officers may never select the time of the investigation -- looking at giving an advae political party. >> why did he come out with the information at this point? >> we don't know why he felt he had an obligation. we remember back in july when we first covered the story, he was critical and personal about her use of the e-mail server and injected a lot of his personal opinions. he got personal and bringing
