disturbance on the trail. tonight, donald trump rushed off of the stage by the secret service during a rally in nevada. rocking the boat. tim kaine in st. petersburg with musician john bon jovi. good evening, i'm rod carter. thanks for joining us this saturday night. we begin with breaking news off of the campaign trail, very tense moments during a donald trump rally in nevada. the secret service rushed trump off of the stage made speech because of his -- a threat. we were told there was an incident near the front of the state which is why they whisked him away quickly. moments later, trump did return. >> nobody said it was going to be easy for us but we will never be stopped. i want to thank the secret service. these guys are fantastic. they don't get enough credit.

about shooting up his school. deputies arrested the student at a preparatory academy in springhill. they say he told classmates you know where to get a gun and the perfect time to do the shooting. deputies tell us the boy admitted to make the statements but said that he was not serious. new information in a hotel shooting. and arrest has been made in the deadly shooting that happened near busch gardens last weekend. 24-year-old leroy livingston johnson shot an second man was also injured but is going to be okay. johnson is charged with second- degree murder tonight. one thief's getaway plan was an epic fail actually. coming up, i police had to save the man they were changing. and here is something americans probably would vote for. companies giving their employees election day off. a few sprinkles rolled through with a cold front last

police say he and another sergeant were responding to a 911 call when the suspect open fire on them. he died at the hospital, the other sergeant is in fair condition tonight. the gunman died in a shootout. authorities in south carolina have identified a body found on the same property where a woman was just covered alive, chained to a metal container. they say the body was that of charlie carver, the boyfriend of kala brown who was found chained up in a storage bin on todd kohlhepp's property. kohlhepp is charged with kidnapping and more could be coming. a massive five alarm fire ripped through a chicago warehouse this morning and nearly 200 firefighters had to fight this. it happened in the little village neighborhood on the southwest side. chicago's fire commissioner says it may have been started by homeless people trying to stay warm. no one was in the building at the time of the fire and there have been no injuries reported. and oregon man found himself in an interesting

car. state police say they chased this guy but eventually called off the chase. hours later they found the stolen vehicle in a ravine and arrested the suspect's dog who ran into a large badger hole. that's when they heard the suspect screaming. he was actually stuck eight feet underground so police dug him out, they took him to the hospital where he was treated and then right to jail. a woman in new mexico says she was accused by warmer goods down her shirt. she says she was leaving the store and an employee asked error if she was pregnant -- her to -- asked her if she was pregnant then asked her to lift up her shirt to prove it. in a statement, walmart also offered an apology and said that they will take appropriate action. all right, here is something most people probably

the bulk of the showers across south florida, the keys, further south into cuba and a few shows that have developed off the east coast of florida but i think these will have a hard time maintaining themselves moving across the state as they encounter the very dry air about us. just a few clouds around the tampa bay area, that is about it. all of that red shading that you see here is the dry air in the upper and middle levels of the atmosphere. we will have that around for the next few days. we've got dry air at the surface, too. 60s. this time yesterday they were in the upper 60s and low 70s. we are definitely enjoying the more comfortable dry air about us. this is what it does to rain chances the next couple of days. by wednesday, thursday, just enough atmospheric moisture ahead of the next cold front to see the chest for a few stray showers around during the afternoon by the second half of the upcoming work week. him again today, the average this time of year, 80 degrees.
