a gorgeous view over downtown orlando. this angle. meteorologist marina jurica is in the severe weather center. >> tracking fog this morning. for some of you. not as widespread as yesterday. daytona beach behind me -- i promise it is daytona beach. we're going to be looking at minutes. daytona. as the sun was rising 20 minutes ago, this shot was beautiful with red and orange off the fog. but our satellite radar is see partly cloudy skies again as we move into the day today. so where visibility was less improved. and clermont, seminole seven and the village, only a touch left over. beach. this morning, 50s. old -- very mild. flirting with 80 this right now, orlando police

that ended with four people in local hospitals. this happened at a convenient and parramore avenue, just before 9:00 last night. julie is live at police headquarters. a third -- 13-year-old girl said she saw the gunmen come in and opened fire. >> reporter: she also told us she heard the cashier's brother say, we have been robbed. at this point, it appears to be a robbery. we're still waiting on orlando police to confirm that if we can. let's look at some of the video we shot last night shortly after 9:00. this all took place at the convenient store on the corner of anderson and parramore avenue. detectives say a man shot four people and took off in a gold suv. we have video of a police crews are that slammed into the suv trying to stop the driver from getting away. orlando police have not said if they arrested anyone or if they are still searching for a shooter. we spoke to a teenager he was

she said she heard several gunshots. >> he came into the store quietly. he went behind the counter. >> we're still working on getting the conditions of the four people that were sent to local hospitals. we're also told that detectives with a violent crimes unit are working this investigation. live in orlando, eyewitness news this morning. police say at least seven people including a 14-year-old girl are dead following three random shootings in michigan. investigators say one person is in custody in connection with the shootings in kalamazoo county. investigators say it appears the suspect simply drove around shooting people at random in the parking lots of an apartment complex, a car dealership and a cracker barrel restaurant. deputies say the man in custody did not put up a shot -- a fight when officers approached him. they said they found weapons in his vehicle. and eyewitness spoke to an

>> i asked, did you catch him? they said, yes. i said, god bless you for your service. because i wouldn't have -- it would take a lot of courage for any person to necessarily come up to the person doing this. >> in a shooting victim is in serious condition this morning. last check, the suspect was still being questioned by investigators. donald trump is celebrating his big win and south carolina and a republican primary. after that, former florida governor jeb bush ended his run for the white house. >> the people of iowa, new hampshire and south carolina have spoken. i respect their decision. so tonight, i am suspending my campaign. >> and investigative reporters were monitoring those results and we learned some simply are not sold yet on packing the other florida candidate, senator marco rubio. >> four of the five republicans i spoke with were all verbally committed to jeb bush. three of them told me they are now backing marco rubio.

that way but wants to see what happens in the next couple of weeks, expressing concern with marco rubio's inexperience. last week, it was reported that bush's camp was moving around in super tuesday states -- an indication his campaign might have been looking for an exit strategy. saturday, a distant fourth place finish in south carolina. south carolina back to his brother and 2000 his father in 1988. and jeb bush, who finished out of the top three in iowa and new hampshire, needed a strong i to make the argument to voters and donors that he still republicans i spoke to were split on jeb bush saying that underestimated donald trump, others say he campaigned with class and was the adult in a field that was often times reduced to childish bickering. >> i firmly believe the american people must and trust this office to someone who understands that whoever holds it, is a servant, not the

service with honor and decency. >> meanwhile, marco rubio taking second place, although the margin separating him and texas senator ted ted cruz, razor thin. marco rubio who picked up the endorsement of south carolina governor nikki haley is now poised to pick up much of the support of jeb bush especially in florida. last week we reported that his campaign was going after bush's donors. now those donors may be inclined to give a specially if john kasich or ben dropout in the next couple of weeks. >> tonight in south carolina, the message is pretty clear. this country is now ready for a new generation of conservatives to guide us into the 21st century. >> not to bury the lead too much but donald trump did win south carolina and by a wide margin. this is the second win in a row for donald trump. he is also leading in the next battleground state, nevada -- which will hold the republican caucus next week. ted cruz, who won in iowa takes third in south carolina.

i spoke with -- they say it is a good night for marco rubio but sooner or later, he needs to win a state and not just one is -- not just finished second or third. hillary clinton will be that on the campaign trail this week. she defeated senator bernie sanders in yesterday's democratic caucus in nevada. the former secretary of state won with 52% of the vote, just 5% more than bernie sanders. >> some may have doubted us. but we never doubted each other. >> i believe that, when democrats assemble in philadelphia in july at that convention, we're going to see the results of one of the great political upsets in the history of the united states. >> the two democrats will face off again saturday in the democratic primary in south carolina. remember, you can follow every development in the 2016 presidential race by downloading our free wftv news app. we're hearing from an

intentionally run over by a teenager. >> i'm okay. i'm going to be okay. i have this life ahead of me. i'm going to make the most of it it. >> very optimistic. sergeant tracy pierce is home recovering from several injuries including a broken leg. deputies say on friday, -- john carlos ortiz hit her while she tried to arrest him for vehicle burglaries. he is still on the run this morning. deputies believe he is driving a white honda hatchback. still working to find out if orlando police have any leads on a missing newborn after draining a pond in orlando. we have been on top of the search for baby willow since she disappeared monday. we watched as crews used comes to drain a pond near the will of an apartment complex off silver star road. susan richardson is accused of giving birth to the baby girl and then abandoning her. she is still in the orange county jail this morning. >> we have asked orlando

because of a search by cadaver dogs wednesday. they told us they could not confirm bat. police say they are "just searching everything. ". state troopers say a dirt bike driver who can those who hit and killed a woman while he drove down a sidewalk has died. state troopers say 30-year-old foster lost control of his bike as he went along powers drive in orange county yesterday. they say he hit a 59-year-old who was walking down the sidewalk. both died from injuries. starting tomorrow, orlando police -- orlando will reduce trash service to one day a weekend certain neighborhoods. earlier this month, the city decided to move forward with a pilot program. it is expected to last about six months. recyclables will be picked up more often. the city says the goal is to increase recycling. the daytona 500 is just a few hours away. and more than 100,000 fans are expected to pack into the speedway. the race is sold out for the

good morning. i'm meteorologist marina jurica. hope you're having a fantastic day so far. dealing with patchy dense fog. it is lifting quickly. we are improving conditions very nicely as well. for a beautiful sunday. the daytona beach -- is going to get very crowded here in the next couple of hours as the big daytona 500 is at 1:00 this afternoon. we will see a beautiful day for

as the fog will lift in the next 60 minutes. the satellite radar is showing partly cloudy skies. the big picture -- we have the system to the north that has stalled out for now. the clouds, moving into the panhandle will keep the northern counties just a touch more cloudy than yesterday. we're still dealing with a lot of fog in the villages and in leesburg. otherwise a touch in ocala, titusville and go to -- and daytona beach. we are improving and will continue to improve as we move into the rest of the day. current temperatures right now, looking good. in the 50s. a couple 60s along the coast. still 48 in ocala. but you will be in the 50s by tomorrow morning. a nice southeasterly wind at five up to 10 miles per hour will drive up the temperatures. relatively calm wind, for now. hour by hour, showing not by -- not much of anything. partly cloudy skies throughout the day. mostly cloudy skies as the head into monday. as we head into the afternoon -- this is 5:00 p.m. dealing with a couple isolated

congresswoman corinne brown is refusing to answer questions about a subpoena she received from federal prosecutors. the representative was in jacksonville this weekend to promote amtrak. we told you she received a subpoena last month. since then, she has gotten a lawyer. sources said or to -- prosecutors have been in orlando conducting interviews for weeks. companies and individuals have been asked to turn over records from an organization from virginia. when we asked about the investigation, brown refused to answer any of our questions. >> my attorney has told me that i cannot discuss it. and so, if you have a question about it, you need to talk with him. >> representative brown is required to notify the speaker of the house that she has been subpoenaed -- she has not said if she has. but did say "i follow all of the rules and regulations pertaining to the u.s. house of representatives". action9 exposes the offers to replace your home

one company tells you they found damage and the insurance company will pay to replace it. in a hidden camera investigation, we see how these offers drive up the cost of insurance for all of us. >> the flyers claim, your roof is damaged and can be replaced for free. several homeowners contacted us suspecting elr restoration would build their insurance for damage that did not exist. >> it says, i have roof damage. i know he is full of mud. excuse my french. >> at this home, we put it to the test. first, we had a licensed roofing consultant inspect it. >> was there hail damage on this roof? >> no. >> normal wear and tear? >> normal wear and tear. >> now the company elr responded after our volunteer called about the flyer. >> 30 minutes later -- >> he found a lot of damage on the roof. he said i need a new roof. >> he showed her pictures of hail damage that he found. >> and that they would go

a seminole county woman accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of food stamps said she did not do anything wrong. investigators say teresa hamilton, who you see here, reported she did not have income between august 2012 and august 2014. but she did have a job at a daycare in -- and made $30,000 a year. investigators say she got about $4000 worth of food stamps she

>> i reported this to dcf. >> hamilton is supposed to appear in court next month. volusia county deputies say a shoe print led them to arrest three teenagers accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of guns, ammunition and other valuables. investigators say two of the teenagers broke into a house on a latin drive thursday afternoon. they say the teenagers stole rifles, silver bars and coins worth $26,000. a deputy found a shoe print near the house and match that with the shoe of a suspect. they were arrested along with another teenager. we're hearing the voice of the captain of elfaro at the audio recordings and the call of help were played during a u.s. coast guard investigative hearing. some of the victim's families were moved to tears. you can hear michael davidson

is out of jail. marshall youngrice was built out of jail. the student claims she met the teacher on adult friend finder. he picked her up in the middle of the night and drove her to east claremont where they allegedly had sex. relationship. a judge ordered her not to have contact but he can still talk to other minors. an airplane caught fire near orlando airports and intrigue people to the hospital. the fire burned a cessna aircraft saturday being serviced at a hangar. the paneling was removed. officials are trying to determine where the fire started. this morning we are working to find out if orlando police have leaves on a missing newborn after draining the pond. we have been on top of the search for baby will all week long. yesterday palm springs the pond near the willow bend apartment complex off of silverstar road. has eyewitness news this

more than 40 years. the fbi need to look elsewhere to get information from the san bernardino shooters iphone. the tech giant, apple, is refusing to develop software needed to break the passcode on the phone. investigators believe information on the phone could help in the investigation. apple believes the software could put other customers at risk, potentially giving hackers an easy way to gather information. right now, john mcafee, who has developed antivirus software, is promising to get the data from the shooters from within three weeks. >> i guarantee, you give me the phone, i'll give you the data. there are 10,000 hackers in the world who could easily do what i'm suggesting myself. >> he wants to physically take apart the shooters from instead of unlocking the device digitally, still no word whether the fbi will consider that offer. a local father says his daughter whom he has never met was given up for adoption without permission.

county but it is getting better. it was half-mile or less visibility just 60 minutes ago, now it is 2 1/2 miles. at least we are improving. touch of fog in ocala and titusville as well as kissimmee. villages west to east was beautiful. topping out at 76 at 2:00 with plenty of sunshine. winter springs, plenty of sunshine and clouds increasing after four -- 4:00 with a high of 77. palm bay starting out cloudy but lots of sunshine will rule the rest of the day with a high of 73. a brevard county father is fighting to get custody of the daughter he has never met. vincent mouten do you see here- parental rights terminated in 2013 when his daughter was placed in an adoptive family. court records show his ex-wife agree to the adoption. at the time, mouten was in jail on a battery charge involving his ex-wife. the charge was later dropped. moulton has lost cases in family court in the fifth district court of appeal. >> because she came for me,

out there so far. we're just about to say goodbye to the fog in daytona beach, which you can see daytona is about to get very busy with the daytona 500 kicking up at 11:00 this afternoon. what a beautiful day to showcase the weather in central florida. satellite radar shown partly cloudy skies where we will stay during the day. big picture, southeasterly wind has taken over. i told you once that happens, our warmer conditions will start to amp up. upper 70s today, flirting with 80s as we head into monday, and actually hitting the 80s for the rest of the week. clouds increasing as we head into tonight especially, but as we move into the next 48 hours, we will be continuing that warming trend. really looking good in the villages of leesburg. look at that, 9 mile visibility. last than half mile an hour ago, and now 9 miles.

police say a 14-year-old girl initially reported that is actually alive but still in serious condition this morning. in the last hour we got this photo here of the suspect in that case, 45-year-old jason dalton. police say he is the suspect in the shooting were six people were killed. investigators say it appears he drove around kalamazoo county shooting people at random. in the parking lot of an apartment complex, car dealership, and cracker barrel restaurant. deputies say he did not put up a fight when officers approached him. they say they found weapons inside of his vehicle. and eyewitness spoke to the officer right after they arrested the suspect. >> i asked him, did you guys catching? and he said, yes. i said, god bless you for your service. because you know, i think it takes a lot of courage for any person to necessarily come up to the person who has been doing this. >> a woman who was shot is in serious condition this morning. so far police don't know why dalton went on a shooting spree but they say he has no known criminal history. this morning, donald trump is celebrating his win in the south carolina republican primary.

estimates that fog lifts and boy is it going to get crowded in daytona. daytona 500 at 11:00 today, the weather looks perfect. satellite radar showing partly cloudy skies and that's how it will stay to the rest of the way today. but with a southwesterly wind, we are definitely warming up. clouds slowly increase especially by tonight with a mostly cloudy monday on top. we've still got that fog in ocala as well as titusville and daytona beach. but it's lifting. temperatures look fantastic. all in the 50s with a warm spot on cocoa beach and melbourne and 63 and 61. and joy. we are going to be much milder today, pretty quiet winds out of the southeast at about 5 to 10. but that southeasterly wind is also was bringing temperatures up into the 80s as we head into the work week. future track 9 hour by hour showing that we do see clouds increase, especially by tonight into tomorrow, which will be left with mostly cloudy skies monday. if you scattered showers starting to pop up by 6:00 into
