>> it is sara underwood. for days we have been saying throw on coat in the morning and peel off the layers in the afternoon. that's about to change and look at new forecast. >> that's right because this afternoon the peeling off the layers might never happen and we have rainfall that's coming into town for friday forecast but this morning and today we get to soak up the sunshine, dry weather, it is going to be a great start to the day, we have 54 in boston, 50 in worcester, 49 in plymouth, 46 in nashua, 54 in chatham, so 40s and 50s, nothing new about that and here is look at lack of warm-up, if you will, and we have temperatures essentially the same at 9:00 this morning and noon time today it is going to be upper 50s and into the afternoon it is a struggle to make it very far into the 60s. so 60 to 66 today and it is going to be bright, it is going to be crisp but with the rain comes warm-up and i will break it down coming up in a couple minutes. standing by with julie grauert. how are things shaping up? >> shiri, we are still seeing some residual delays from the
earlier accident on route 1 southbound right after the lynnfield tunnel. that's why it is a little bit sticky on route 1 as you head through peabody and approach the saugus area. expressway jammed from furnace brook parkway to columbia road. as you can see very bright out there and grab the sunglasses. anne minutes on the pike from the weston tolls to the ted williams tunnel and 31 minutes braintree split to the pike and 41 minutes on 128 south from route 1 in peabody to the weston tolls. daniel and sara, back to you. would-be robber attacks two people inside a local grocery store and end up getting stabbed as well. this morning thiair -- the area still blocked off with police tape and this all began because of a dog. >> that's what boston police are telling us and as you mentioned,
with crime scene and 243 grove street which is just off of washington street here in west red roxbury. boston police say this happened around 9:30 last night and when police arrived at the scene they found the suspect on the ground and store owner outside. but police say that wasn't the first run-in the two had last night. according to police the suspect went into the store about a half hour early and her exchanged words about bringing a dog into the store. the suspect left but allegedly tried to rob the owner at knifepoint. police say the owner fought back and he and suspect were taken with nonlife-threatening stab wounds in addition to one of the worker at the grocery store as well that somehow got involved in all of this. the owner of the store was actually here on the scene. i saw him go into the store before the 4:30 report this morning and came out just before 5:00 and got a chance to ask him
a couple questions as he was getting into his vehicle and you will hear about that more next half hour and see him on the scene as well. live in west roxbury. 9:30 last night warren street near the corner of townsend street there was another stabbing. one person was hurt and taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. police have not released any information about a suspect. huge flames ripped through a business in oxford and it burned for hours as crews at the scene struggled to get water on the fire. this was breaking news during 5:00 newscast and hours later fire crews still trying to determine a cause, jess. >> they are, sara and out here several hours since the fire started and overhere are engines making sure hot spots don't
flare up and direct your attention to the yellow hose line on the ground here. fire crews had issues getting water so they used the hose line to pump in water from a nearby pond to fight this fire, still a lot of questions about this this morning. the biggest one being how it started. >> operator. >> a massive fire torches the building in oxford and crews flames. >> heavy black smoke, very intensifier. >> this morning fox25 has learned the place where it broke out was a wood and timber refurbishing business, former home of plastics company. some of the wood inside had been soaked in petroleum which added a good deal of fuel to the fire. there were concerns about water so crews were forced to take it from a nearby pond. >> problem is it takes time to get resources set up. we have ten tanker right now. >> the fire chief told fox25 last night there was a huge explosion shortly after the flames broke out here. >> we haven't confirmed or
we did back off a lot of our resources initially because the walls were already starting to collapse on the structure. >> face where the fire was burning was next to asbestos removal company. the fire chief was initially concerned about chemicals but says the fire didn't get into the inside of that building. the biggest question now remains the cause. >> since there was a large volume of fire here, any information that the public can bring forward to us is always in assistance to our investigation. >> that was the state fire marshal that you just heard from a moment ago. he says he has no reason to think the fire was suspicious at all. and he tells us he should have a cause by the end of the day. live in oxford this morning, jessica reyes, fox25 news. new this morning police are searching for the suspect involved in this hit-and-run crash in nashua, new hampshire. police say they saw a car driving erratically down the turnpike and followed it down exit one where they saw a three
car crash and suspect was driving a black suv and ran away from the scene. police say he is a white man with stocky build and was wearing a blue jacket. driver of a bus going from boston to new york is killed in a crash in norwalk, connecticut. the bus hit a tractor-trailer on interstate 95. state police say the driver was trapped in a seat after the crash. 18 of the 41 passengers on board suffered minor injuries. the tractor-trailer driver was not hurt. tragic search for missing cargo ship is now over. they officially ended the search ship sank off the bahamas and president obama offered come fortunate for the victim's family. among those on board three sailors from massachusetts, jeffrey mathias, keith griffin and marion wright. hundreds of family members are

back to worcester at night and ride will take under an hour. two more express trains will also be added. they will reach boston in 75 minutes. the current route makes 16 stops and takes 90 minutes. busy road in manchester, new hampshire will be shut down for the next day or two. participant of brown avenue must be rebuilt following a massive water main break there. this happened yesterday morning. the on and off ramps to 293 north are also closed. the brake caused a large sinkhole to form in the road. police are telling drivers to avoid the area if possible. new this morning a boston theater could soon become a college dining hall. according to the globe emerson college is considering converting the colonial theater into dining hall/performance space and called the colonial's student center and president tells the globe this is one of several options for the theater. new this morning after more than three decades boston university

catherine. >> owner, i saw him going into the store around 4:30 and came around 5:00 ask said that the store will be opening 8:00 and half hour from now and talk with him while he was getting into the vehicle and still surrounded by crime scene tape and take a look because this is video we got of the owner as he was leaving the store early this morning and didn't want to speak on camera but what happened was unfortunate incident and come back from the hospital and gestured to suggest stab wounds on his arm and did say he is okay and worker also injured is okay and according to police this happened around 9:30 last night and familyia grocery half hour earlier and exchanged words
and they found store owner outside and all three people taken to the hospital with nonlife-threatening stab wounds and i have an e-mail out to boston police this morning asking to give update and identify the suspect in this case and waiting to hear back from them and as i mentioned this store should be opkennedy greenway in half hour and according to what the owner told us this morning and learned a little bit more about the initial conversation between the owner and suspected. we will have more on that coming up next half hour. live in west roxbury, catherine parrotta, fox25 news. >> disturbing video of video in chelsea. hit record as chelsea man got into a fight with his neighbor. the video shows the fight as it spilled into the street yesterday. police say michael fitzpatrick who was on the bottom there in the white shirt stabbed the man who was seen holding him down. you can also see a knife in the ground. a witness who lives in the building says everything happens
so fast. >> ran up to the corner and started stabbing him. >> fitzpatrick was in court yesterday in a wheelchair because he has a broken leg and dislocated knee and police say fitzpatrick told investigators he stabbed the neighbor because of ongoing problems and attorney says he is dealing with mental health issues and he will be back in court next month. new details this morning about two missing roommates from manchester, new hampshire. fox25 has learned the missing man steven andrade was found dead on tuesday. authorities found him with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at the motel six in tewksbury and roommate sue hutchinson is still missing. police say andrade may have been the last person to see her. hutchinson's family says she let him live with her because he was a family friend. the two disappeared at the end of september. 7:35 right now. another local football team forced to forfeit a game as
criminal charges. fox25 michael henrich live this morning in winthrop with look at how ten seconds of video, michael, have become the center of a police investigation. >> janelle what's on one hundred second video clip taken by cell phone caused controversy here at winthrop high school and not only involving the police department but suffolk county district attorney's office and i called both of those agencies, left a voice mail to the d.a.'s office. of course it is early still in the day and police department did not have an update to make at this point in the morning but i will continue to stay in touch with both the d.a.'s office and the police department to get more information. but just to take a step back here and let you know what we know so far. fox25 has learned that this incident does involve a one hundred second video clip recorded after football practice on monday and shared by teammates on a group chat.
now, we have learned that it shows a winthrop high school football player walking without clothes from the shower to his locker and we are told the player in the video is minor. administrators learned about it the next day after the victim logged on to the school's bullying website to report it anonymously. fox25 did speak with high school sophomore with permission of the legal guardian and been a friend of his for years. >> it was the person that took the videos, his face then camera turned around and as my friend was walking to his locker naked with towel in his hands, that's what was on the video. >> so the fallout still developing as of this point the football operations have been suspended. tomorrow's game this weekend's game has been forfeited. now, this is, of course, the second forfeiture in local football that we have seen in the past week or so in
swampscott the high school football team forfeited the game last weekend because of an alleged hazing incident with underclassman that also involved nudity. so as far as here in winthrop anything develops as far as charges in this incident we will bring it to you right away. michael henrich, fox25 news. more details on the possible consequences for sending nude photos those convicted can face jail time and register with the sex offender board for the next 20 years and order the person's computer and digital devices to be destroyed. >> mashpee school board will conduct independent investigation into the district superintendent. as we reported last week a parent says brian hyde without an invitation.

the dock. those boats are done. >> we have no idea at this moment how this fire started and what the cause of it is but i'm sure once the firefighters get this out we will have some information after an investigation but wow, these flames are really roaring and jetting out into the sky and we first discovered this because sky fox was cruising around and saw the smoke. >> curious to see a wide spot from sky fox and number of boats that are there and you mentioned, sara, we saw this because of the smoke in the air and take look at that shot and you can see what the firefighters are having to deal with and how long it took them to get to the location to get the fire out. >> waking up and looking out the window and seeing the smoke and

live from the scene in oxford and jessica we know a little bit about this in place. >> learned last night from the fire chief this business does is not have the proper permit with the town and crews have been out here all night long monitoring the building making sure no hot spots flare up here and look at sign, right now see one of the engines from the oxford fire department and taking look a little bit further down to the right you can see that yellow hose line there, that hose line has been being used to pump in water from nearby pond and went down to the pond just about an hour ago and having issue getting water from there because it was getting clogged up and since resumed those -- resumed it and all cleared up at this point and actually getting ready to clear out of here now this morning and again, the biggest question right now is, of course, how this fire started. massive fire torches a building in oxford.

came back with a knife and woman behind the counter tried to get into the register. >> they struggled, worked way on you behind the counter to the front where owner, suspect and another coworker was stabbed. >> we spoke with the owner this morning who's out of the hospital. he says the worker was also released and expected to be okay police have not said what charges the suspect will face. disturbing video this morning of stabbing in chelsea. witnesses hit record as chelsea man got into a fight with his neighbor. this video shows the fight as it yesterday. police say michael fitzpatrick who was on the bottom in the white shirt stabbed the man that was seen holding him down. you can also see a knife on the ground and witness who lives in the building said everything happened so fast. swearing at each other and then chased them and then ran up here to the corner and started stabbing them. >> fitzpatrick was in court yesterday in a wheelchair
because he has a broken leg and dislocated knee. police say he told investigators he stabbed the nab because of ongoing problems. his attorney says he has been dealing with mental health issues and he will be back in court next month. new details this morning about two missing roommates from manchester, new hampshire. fox25 has learned that the missing man steven andrade was found dead on tuesday. authorities found with apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at motel six in talks burr and he roommate is still missing. he may have been the last person to see her. she let him live with her because he was a family friend and two disappeared at the end of september. police say student shared a
