scene. his are looking for any information on the shooter. a crew on the scene and a live report at 4:30. breaking news morning in the russian plane crash. the interfax say cockpit recording reported staged before the crash. that information is on the black boxes recovered in good condition. the u.s. government says satellite images show a heat flash on the plane just before it broke apart in the air killing all 224 people on board. the russians says there no way a technical defect or the pilot caused the disaster. investigators say the sounds heard on the black box recording uncharacteristic of a standard flight. new this morning, crews stomp out the flames of a fire at the club in dedham. the fire was reported at 10:40 and crews knocked it down by 11:00. no one was hurt. this morning. also this morning investigate investigators in hopkinton are

out toilet cleaners to at least two trick or treaters. fox25 was the only station to talk to one of the moms whose child got one of those toxic treats. she told us she was going through her 6-year-old son's candy basket and found a sealed white package with a blue disk inside. turned out to be an still have strength toilet cleaner and gave them the location where is she went trick or treating. the mom did not want to show her face, but she has a warning for other parents. >> please make sure you check your kids -- your kids' candy baskets because you just never know. >>daniel: another 14-year-old was also found -- also found the cleaner in his candy stash. both were trick or treating in the area around main street. investigators are urging parents to contact them immediately if they notice anything suspicious in their kids' candy. 4:04. hudson, new hampshire police are investigating a razor blade reportedly found in bag of halloween candy.

the candy was picked up in the elmwood village areas. officers are urging parents to report anything suspicious to officers. this morning a fbi says a local bank robber is targeting bank inside of busy grocery stores. the suspect has been caught on camera in several different towns. the most recent robbery at a bank inside a stop and shop in stoneham. chelmsford and reading police believe he is responsible in their towns too. a man dressed for wet weather when it has been fairly mild weather. call police if you recognize him. a robbery is also under investigation in worcester at the edge mere mini-mart. four masked men threatened the clerk with a knife. the clerk wasn't hurt. the robbers ransacked the store and made off with money and cigarettes. this morning a corrections officer have pleaded not guilty on charges of assaulting a teenager. it happened sunday night at juniper beach in norton. jeffrey parillo was drunk and

carrying a loaded handgun when he confronted a group of teenagers being loud near his house. he is accused of telling these teens he was a cop and punching one when they asked for proof. fox25 spoke with a roommate who said that parillo was the victim. >> a couple of punk kids attacking him when he was down there taking a walk. he is the that one shouldn't be facing charges. he was attacked. >> parillo charged with assault and battery and disorder leer conduct. he is on leave with his job from the suffolk county sheriff's department. new this morning, the mbta says it does not have the money to pay for an expensive safety project it is being forced to complete. the t's chrome board has been ordered to pay $450 million for positive train control technology on all commuter rail lines by 2020. the equipment slows down trains that are going too fast. they tell the globe that the laeing have to borrow money to

pay for the project. congress is forcing all rail operators to installment technology. train control can prevent disasters like the deadly train derailment in philadelphia that called 18 people and injured 2 called 18 people and injured 200 others in may. >> the ntsb have confirmed they found the wreckage of the el faro cargo ship but still a lot of work to do. the u.s. navy continues to sur vate area east of the bahamas and working to document and recover the ship's data recorder. they are planning to uncover any human remains that still may be there. investigators say it will be difficult to get sonar equipment to the ship because it is about three miles under water. the el faro sank during hurricane joaquin with 33 people on board including three massachusetts natives. federal agents are now on the case of a new hampshire woman killed while taking a walk. someone shot 62-year-old denise roberts on a manchester street in august. fox25 has confirmed the fbi is now assisting local police with the investigation. police have not named any

>> judge gave the teens a curfew and ordered them to stay away from each other and they will return to court next month will return to court next month. in holland, massachusetts trying to find a suspect. they these symbols spray painted on several buildings on hitchcock road. someone vandalized a trailer at the nearby hollings congressional church. surveillance cameras captured three men get out of a car by the time it happened. a dozen cabs are being checked over after -- cats are being checked over aftering with fed from an apartment. you can see one hanging out the window there. animal control found 28 animals animal control found 28 animals. the conditions they were living in was just awful. we are told while the animals are dirty and in shock, but overall they seem okay. >> the cats look like they are in fair condition. there were some that were urine filled. i heard reports of the department just being deplorable with feces and trash and who knows.

just coming up on 4:15 this morning. donald trump no longer leading the pack of republican hopefuls on the race to the white house. ben carson is the front-runner a new nbc and "wall street journal" poll. carson pulled in 29% support from primary voters. that is the highest percentage of any gop candidate has gotten so far in polls. donald trump took second place with 23%. marco rubio as you can see rounded out the top 3 at 11%. trump is holding on to his lead in new hampshire though. a new poll from mamouth university show him with 26% in the granite state. ben carson is trailing him with 16% and after strong debate performance, marco rubio has surged to third and tripled his support since september to 13%. the volkswagen diesel emission scandal is getting

vw installed emission test cheating software on more cars than believed. vw admitted to rigging tests. six cylinder engines were tampered with. it expands to porche and audi. they are threatening to fine $30,000 per car. thousands of pounds of ground beef have been recalled due to e. coli. all american meat of omaha issued that recall. it was shipped nationwide in 50 and 80-pound boxes. a sell by november 3 and establishment 20420. anyone with that product should it away. the e. coli outbreak that temporarily shut down dozens of chipotle restaurants was likely caused by contaminated vegetables. they received at least 100 calls and e-mails from people who recently ate a chipotle at got sick.

the morning commute. >>shiri: a little bit of fog on the roads right now and kind of the usual spots you would expect to see it in norwood, half-mile visibility. visibility down to a quarter mile in hyannis. that means a little pocket of dense fog there sitting over the cape. on the vineyard one and a quarter miles so some reduction quarter miles so some reductions down to nantucket as well. drive safely in these spots. i don't expect it to be a wide i don't expect it to be a widespread problems. a few foggy towns through 7 a.m. by 8 a.m., then, it should lift and be completely gone. dry and mild today and tomorrow. and then we have some late week showers and the timing a little bit different than what we expect yesterday. current conditions though anywhere from the 30s to the 40s. waking up to 36 in fitchburg this morning. lawrence at 41 degrees and we are seeing clear skies in lawrence right now, but we have got calm winds. we have got dew point that are pretty close. i think even in lawrence you will have to watch out for a little bit of light fog through

again 7 a.m. 42 degrees at 6 a.m. by 8:00, 47 degrees. by 10:00 this morning, 57 degrees. and all the way into the upper 60s, spots like lawrence later today. in boston right now at 47 degrees. you are looking nice and clear. i don't expect we will get very much fog into the city it very much fog into the city itself so there shouldn't be a huge impact on the morning degrees. near 50 by 8 a.m. 57 by 10 a.m. and 60s 57 by 10 a.m. and 60s are back by lunchtime today. futurecast, nice and dry and sunny locally across northern new england a few passing showers and fog early this morning. we are dry and bright. things are looking great for your tuesday. very warm with this southwest wind that will carry heat into place really for the end of the workweek before we see a little bit of a weekend cooldown. things are a little bit different tomorrow. i know we have that same clear start. we will start again in the 30s and 40s. very similar temperature-wise. once we get into the afternoon

the winds are going to be so light tomorrow that i expect a little sea breeze to pop up, and that is actually going to cool down the immediate coast as temperatures tomorrow not quite as warm as today because of that breeze. so today i have a showing of 68 degrees in boston and beverly. lawrence, 69 degrees. same in bedford. 70 in norwood. 65 in worcester. 69, fitchburg. 67 in plymouth and 64 in hyannis. let's count on that sunshine. don't forget the sunglasses if you are going to be doing any driving or spending time outside. tonight, though, the 40s are back in place with 49 in boston. 44 in worcester and a couple of 30s in keene and orange. wake up tomorrow morning, plan on it feeling a lot like it does right now. noon temps struggle a little bit close to 60 in boston and beverly because of that breeze. the further inland you go, the warmer it will be which is in to 66 here. your seven-day forecast for the weekend always in view now.
