9:17 am
gusting 25, 30 miles per hour most locations a little bit higher among provincetown, so the winds have not totally subsided but not quite as strong and blustery as we were yesterday. let's take a look at boston at 22 right now, feels more like 5 thanks to all of that wind. your temperatures warming into lower 30s at 3:00 and top that week do today. let's go over to say plymouth, 22 there as well, we have winds coming in and making it feel like 8 out the door and temperatures there not much warmer and then sliding back through the 20s on and into the evening tonight. so another day of chillier than normal temperatures, but enjoy the sun, that's coming back out, most spots today will be able to see that all day long and highs in the upper 20s to lower 30s. haverhill, you're at 30 , peverley two, let's go to hillsborough five, a little cooler nashua 29 trees, raymond in southern new hampshire at 27. now, overnight tonight, we are
9:18 am
so most spots colder than normal, good news is the winds will be even a little bit lighter tonight than what we saw overnight last night and we have a disturbance coming through overnight that could bring us a flurry or two and nice and sunny right now, here comes the great lakes low. it is going to the come by and be devoid of any moisture to work with but wouldn't be surprised if we have a cloud deck with couple flakes flying early tomorrow morning. no accumulation with that. all eyes on the weekend and that storm, jet energy from that, diving ashore, out of the pacific northwest bringing snow, of course, to the mountains out west and eastern u.s. and producing a surface low pressure system that could turn into a nor'easter on into saturday and sunday. let's take look at european -- gfs model, 1:00 saturday, see the prime minister beginning for our southern tier. there's the freezing line, so anywhere south and east you
9:19 am
islands may be limited as a result and get back up closer into plymouth don't, back into suffolk county and middlesex county, right along the freezing line there, north and westward, that's where you can start to see the higher accumulations, and this lasts saturday night into sunday and first half of sunday and snow totals running six to eight inches in the corridor and i want to turn your attention to this because over say western connecticut, you got 18 inches of snow, so what i'm telling you there is subtle deviation and track of low could mean very big differences as far as who gets what snow. this is the european model, it shows a little bit later start to the snow, lingers into sunday, but lower amounts overall three to four inches in most spots and shows the trend of lower amounts along the cape and even some lower amounts farther away from the track of the storm, keene, brat bureau and 7-day forecast we got plenty to watch over the weekend and
