offshore this morning. great news. meteorologist shiri spear joins us from the fox25 stormtracker weather center. >> shiri: since the fox25 morning news came on air, sprinkles over nantucket and that's where it continues, rest is clouds, boston at 34, but the suburbs are in the lower 30s, so it is going to be a little bit cool, but this is actually kind of mild for a january start fog is problem going to be a bigger thing and visibility down to quarter mile, qualifies as dense fog and actually seeing things thicken up in lawrence and norwood and providence, rhode island, and straight down to the southcoast and the cape, so foggy situation actually getting thicker here in the last hour, and it is going to last with us for about an hour longer that means by 9:00 a.m., most of the fog is lifting, still have low clouds, temperatures in the low to mid-30s by lunchtime today and mostly cloud and he key time here is it is mostly
afternoon and evening and patch rain showers at the coast and snow showers further inland and temperatures here you can see actually moving all the way into lower 40s and 36 to 40 , cool, cloudy forecast, but at times it is going to be damp in spots. very wildly scattered, i will break down the areas where some of that snow could stick coming up. let's get you over to catherine parrotta with live drive time traffic, because things are getting busy on the road. >> catherine: new accidents to talk about, 128 northbound, accident there near university ave, and seeing delays around it moving up a little bit, 93 going southbound, route 16 mystic valley parkway and looks like there's a crew on scene there right now. also this accident, this is rutherford ave, near bunker hill community college and a motorcycle crash and live look at the scene right now, 93 in somerville, and i can see that's where crews are located right now, emergency responders attending to the motorcycle
ave, take you 30 minutes, 93 from the braintree split to the pike you're jammed up there, 28 minute ride, route 1 to the weston tolls 25 minutes. daniel, back over to you. >> daniel: tragic breaking news in groton where two people have died in an overnight house fire. that home setback from the road but heavy smoke could be seen high above the trees. >> sara: fire broke out just before midnight and six hours later it is still a very active scene. jessica reyes is now outside the house on whiley road. good morning, jess. >> jessica: good morning, sara now it is a bit lighter out getting look at some of the extents of the damage here and take a look at the front of the house, and you can see it is just really a burned out shell, and in the back, the back corner on the first floor, need to be where firefighters are focusing this morning, two people were killed here overnight, and right now crews are going through, trying to get an idea what may
we have photos when it it first broke out. take a look, flames go ripping through the home. the fire chief couple hours ago it was a very fast-moving fire, and this house was just engulfed in flames when crews first showed up right around midnight. we also have video, shot around 12:30 by the overnight photograph and her again right now we know crews and stated fire marshal's office are here right now, as well as firefighters from the groton fire department, and again, their objective at this point, is going through and trying to figure out how this fire started now, we know two victims are adults, but we are still learning a little more about them. a woman and man came by here just a short time ago, very distraught. the woman identified herself as a sister of one of the victims, but understandably so, she was too upset to talk to us at that time. we are learning more about the victims, including their names and how old they are, as soon as we get the information.

groton this morning. we know two people were killed in the fire, and remote location, take a look at the ground here. you can see the hoses spread out here and look back toward the house, see it set pretty far back and crews are out there now, they have been focusing on the back of the house. they have not said where the fire started and that's where they have been focusing past couple minutes you can see them, see smoke coming out of the second floor of the house and they have been spraying water up there, so looks as though they are putting out some hot spots. we have been out here since about 4:30 this morning, but overnight a photographer was here and shot some video just moments after the flames were put out right around midnight and we understand right now that the state fire marshal's office still on scene here, crews from there, still there and crews from groton and main objective trying to figure out how the fire started. also have pictures from overnight. these were taken moments after the fire broke out here and the fire chief did say earlier that

police satellite picture they answered the apartment with guns and person living in the apartment attacked them with a knife. fight escalated into gun fire and stabbings and at least three men were hurt including wilcox and brown. they were charged while they were in the hospital beds yesterday. the two missing suspects are considered to be dangerous. >> daniel: we don't know what caused crash that the sent ten elementary school to the hospital. they were on school bus when they collided with white sedan yesterday afternoon and happened at intersection in framingham and students sent to the hospital but only had minor injuries and spoke with them as they were leaving the hospital. >> hit my head on metal, saw a bunch of students crying. >> miss their mom and dad. >> daniel: the driver involved in the crash also went to the hospital with minor injuries. police say she will be cited for

student. lauren spaer went missing in 2011 and investigators have been looking for her ever since. fbi and cadaver dogs scoured the property yesterday and did not find any evidence of spear being there and now going to speak to time in together. sara: dog spent time in woods alone during the winter and we are so happy to report this morning he and his owner are back together. this is jessie. he ran into the woods in december after getting hit by a drunk driver in orange. in one saw him for week.
jessie and returned him to his owner. the dog lost a lot of weight and has a hip injury from the crash. he needs a lot of therapy but is on the road to recovery. >> catherine: that is good news for the little dog. look at how the roadways are doing here with live drive time traffic and look at couple spots, this is the motorcycle accident
