southbound. >> daniel: following breaking news this morning the governor of north carolina has declared state of emergency as violent protests continued for a second day. streets have emptied out this morning but four more officers have been injured and protester now on life support after being shot by another protester. the chaos hit the peak late last night in downtown charlotte where they smashed store windows and lit fires in lined streets blocking entrances to hotels and sending off protesters with tear gas. protesters in response to the death of keith scott shot and killed by police and had a gun that they recovered at the scene and family said he was just reading a book but police say they did not find a book. today the mayor of charlotte is going to be body cam and dash cam video from the scene and
