70 on the 7-day forecast, ahead. we have wreaking news story we're following this morning. egyptian officials say a russian plane crashed in the peninsula this morning. we have a file video of what the plane looked like. this is actual -- not the actual plane but what it looked like. the pilot reported he needed to make an emergency landing and then disappeared from radar. air force jets have located the wreckage of that plane according to the bbc at least 100 bodies have been found as well as the black box recorder which will help official figure out the cause of the crash. a developing story we're following this morning. 27 dead. 88 others hurt after explosion at romanian nightclub. many of them required plastic surgery as a result of their injury. there was heavy medal pan pyrotechnics show that sparked the deadly fire.

dozens of people donated blood at local hospital to help all of the victims. a red sox player car jacked at gun point early friday morning. the "boston herald" is reporting that brian johnson here's a picture. was in passenger seat when they were car jacked. he made major league debut as pitcher for the sox. he was unarmed in the attack. carjacking happened outside of orlando, florida. a man approached the vehicle they were in outside of convenient store. he had a gun. they say the man fired one shot into the ground. fortunately no one was hurt. the suspect was later captured. also this morning a driver on the run caught on camera. look at this. hitting that man on his bicycle in cambridge. didn't even stop his truck. the victim a consider mgh on his way to work and suffered some pretty bad injury. ryan schulteis talked to him. terrifying hit-and-run caught on camera. all i heard was get out of

the way. he was riding his bicycle when this truck ran into him. the last thing i remember seeing his car pull into me and i remember laying on the ground holding my wrist. and then looking up and noticing it was in the direction he shouldn't be going. driver took off leaving dr. stone laying on the ground. the idea he would do this and not stop i think really makes someone -- demonizes them. shattered his wrist. x-rays show how bad break was and the plates and screws that had to be used. i still go to occupational therapy couple of times aweek. he hopes this video will help identify the driver. we would love any help in find thing driver. i think clearly somebody that has taken the level of anger and road rage dangerous.

ryan schulteis 7news "today in new england." we're following more news today. a suspect accused of let me ask you thissing dangerous donation. he pretended to be a police officer and then broke into a police department. we have more on this and what they have to say about his arrest. they tried to push me. he didn't want to show face after frightening fight. oh, you don't know who i am. i'm a police officer. on tuesday morning he went to move his car and when he got back upstairs to his east boston apartment. he realized someone was in his home. 63-year-old gaskal had been going door to door telling neighbors he was collecting donations for boston police. >> i can't believe he's pull

she thought he had turned his life around after getting out of jail. the last time he did that he claim he was collecting for a new hampshire police officer that got killed. >> he's grateful he was able to keep hold of gaskal until police araved to arrest him. new england." plymouth man accused of classroom crime. he was arrested for trespassing and school on thursday. police say the former contract use uniform to get into the school. police think he was trying to steal money from books. the school looks to make changes to keep everyone safe. we just found that we have to kind put another layer into our security when visitors are in the school and sure we know

who everybody is and why they are there. he was only charged with trespassing. they are still working to try to link him to theft at the school. local women fighting back after strange incident in the back bay. this women was following this women saying was she the one crossing the line. john cocoa reports with more on this alarming altercation. >> reporter: am i making you uncomfortable. you don't like being filmed young women turning the table and camera on a man she said was secretly filming women below the waist. facebook video has been viewed more than 1 million times. . that's just discussing. the woman said she decided to break out her phone and record him and she saw the man targeting underaged girls. is that what you telling. you don't like being filmed without permission. that's what you are doing.

prison. while dzhokhar tsarnaev was awaiting his trial his communication with the outside world was strictly limited. his lawyers complain because the measure were so restricted it impeded their ability to prae pair his defense. under an agreement system restriction were loosened a bit. a group of black lives matter protestor will avoid. the "boston herald" said because of plea deal struck by the district attorney. they will get 60 hours of community service. protestor chained themselves together using pvc pipe, rope and trains to block traffic there and another protest on the same day protestor attached themselves to concrete barrels and blocked traffic. those people are still facing charges. also on 7 the u.s. putting boots on the ground in syria. troops will be sent to syria to

help fight isis. less than 50 special forces will be sent overseas. critics say those efforts simply will not be enough. it takes more than they are talking about. it will take a lot more time to do these kinds of things for special forces operators than anybody anticipated. >> this is a reversal for president obama who previously insisted that no u.s. soldier would go to syria. there's wild weather that continues out west. it's causing devastation. texas. a major flood emergency in texas has killed two people and right now there's one other person missing when massive flooding overwhelmed the huge part of that state. there's at least 3 reports of tornadoes as well with more tornado warning this morning. sheriff's deputy rushing to the rescue when this school bus, two of them in fact got stuck in flash flooding. the officer rescued four special needs student and two adults whose bus caught on the high water.

more than 12 inch of rain soaking san marcos leaving this elementary school surrounded by water. they had to take student out of the school in rescue vehicles. this is also out of texas. that's weather tower. you see what happened. lightning striking the radar tower in texas. technician was recording video of the storm when the lightning hit the tower. it also knocked out radar data equipment. they will have to get that fix instead. cleanup continues after the possible tornado that we just mention in one area strong wind brought a full-sized trailer on to the roof of a three-story hotel. nearby the entire front of the school was destroyed by the twister. still ahead this morning on "today in new england" scary sight caught on camera. the man in a mask made some true.

no bird, no plane. it's the halloween asteroid. it's expected to fly past earth this afternoon. the asteroid about 1300 feet wide. the big one. it will pass the earth around 1:00 today. i'm curious if it's during the afternoon hours any chance of seeing it. we won't see that out there. of course with the sunny skies though we will see the nice sunshine. we like seeing that. that's a good trade off; right? >> 39 in the city of boston. a lot of those if you get them to hit the earth's area you can see them at night. something passing us by not hitting the atmosphere you won't see that in the day time. 29 degrees in bedford right now. 27 in norward. 3-mile-an-hour breeze in boston. the theme today the winds lighter than what we saw the last couple of department. there's your trade off. temperature not as mild as yesterday.

we hit 61 in boston. overall the wind not as active either. pleasant day overall. back to west of us there's more clouds and some scatters showers in the ohio valley. the rain will miss us tonight. we'll have more clouded that work on flooding rain and severe weather close to houston, texas that's going to traverse the deep south here over the next couple of day. this part of the storm system will stay down to mississippi valley over toward southern georgia up into carolina. in the mean time the northern extent near chicago will move to north and west of us. what happens that storm system kind of permits off and that will allow for mainly dry period as we go into the second half of the weekend. we'll see more clouds later today, tonight and tomorrow. at least during the first half of the day. moisture is limited. i can't rule out an isolated shower tomorrow through the first half of the day. much of the day is dry. looks like monday all of that soaking rain we see through the

>> 8:0021 your time this saturday morning. multiple people evacuated from their home when this sinkhole opens up. the hole more than 30-feat wide. opened up before 7:00 yesterday. it's about 10 feet deep and opened up between two homes. rescue officials say the hole not an immediate threat to other homes in the neighborhood. also down in florida man flipped and crashed his car after carjacking a woman. police say the man car jacked this women at gun point. went on the chase there. they say he was driving away the deputy deployed stop sticks which set the suspect vehicle crashing into vehicle. he jumped into the car and tried to take off on foot. that never works out. he was caught. witnesses say he didn't know what was going on until he saw what happened with the crash.

i thought high-speed chase or something. i didn't know none of that happened at the gas station. after that you thinking about it. after him. police say they suspect that this man also robbed a bank just hours before he car jacked that vehicle. caught on camera now surveillance video capturing a robber in new mexico dressed up in a full horror movie attire. there he is. the mask from scream. the ghoul was 17-year-old who robbed a gas station last week. teen got about 70 bucks. even fired a bullet. someone called in tip that led to his arrest. new this morning this will put a smile on a lot of people face. it's expected to shatter record.

>> there will be another run to remember this weekend in honor of the youngest victim of the boston bombing. martin richard just 8 years old when he was killed. runner with team mrh 8 will represent in the marathon this weekend. after months of training the athlete say they are ready to hit the road in martin richard's honor. adam williams report. i never ran a marathon before. this is my first. 22 members will be hitting the street for new york city marathon sunday. many of them travelling today. jimmy is one of them. my original plan not to run a marathon then i saw they were looking for runner for this charity. jimmy took a good idea and ran with it. the martin richard foundation created to honor the 8-year-old boy who was killed from one of the bombs at the 2013 boston marathon. team mr-8 has been part of the past two marathons.

jimmy said he's tackling 26.2 miles to race money that will spread the boy's message of peace by investing in education, athletics and community. 20 weeks of training and more than $60,000 in fund-raising later the teen is getting ready to tow the line. first place. there's 50,000 runners, running in the marathon. i'll be lucky to make 30,000. i just want to finish and make family proud. you don't have to run the marathon to help out. they are hoping everyone will help spread the message on social media using the hatch tag no more hurting people. caught up camera deputy on the wrong side of the law gets away. how huh managed to get out of police car. we'll warm up. tonight not as cold for trick-or-treater. take a look at the forecast

well as the black box recorder. also this morning deadly discovery inside of new hampshire apartment complex. a little girl suddenly dies in manchester. they don't suspect foul play. they try to piece together what happened here. tim caputo with the latest from new hampshire. >> manchester police and fire converge on an apartment where infant died. search warrant have been inside for hours. police said they don't suspect foul play in the infant's death but sent detective to home on kimbal street as part of thorough investigation to figure out how the baby girl died. the infant 30-year-old mother was home at the time. they are such nice people. they never have problems with anyone. it seemed like pregnant forever. she's a really nice person. it's awful. firefighter arrive and appeared to check gas line as

they carried evidence parkers inside. police not releasing many details but it's been an active scene all night. those who know the family can only watch this unfold in stunned disbelief. >> having children myself i can only imagine how devastated she must be. tim caputo, 7news "today in new england." we're following more news today. a man is facing charges after a brutal beating in providence. he appeared in court friday. the 25-year-old attacked an elderly couple wednesday night after their car broke down in front of that suspect's house. he's undergoing a mental health evaluation. neighbors say they are shocked at what happened. i like to get inside. that's what they are doing now. that's what i would like to find out. the suspect also facing charges for allegedly attacking three other people back in june. that case is still pending. a hearing for a police

his own cruiser is pushed back. brian johnson appeared in court for what supposed to be a probable cause hearing. prosecutors plan to bring the johnson accused of firing his own gun into his cruiser back in september. then calling dispatch to report that he was shot at. it sparked a massive manhunt. investigator discovered that johnson made it all up. himself. the cdf employee whose work involving bella bond cited in independent report is now exam mined by the agency. the report found that the worker copiyed and pasted years old report in 2012 and 2013 while preparing a case on bella's mother who was accused of child neglect. the report then led to dcf to close bella's case. the girl's body found later on deer island. charlie baker said that employee could be disciplined.

fan dual is under fire this time fund-raiser the nfl player's association. washington wide receiver filing the site. the suit alleges they have used player name and pictures without their approval. it comes as federal government officials have launched an investigation into fan dual and boston based draft king for alleged insider trading. the player will not sue draft king because they have a licensing agreement with the nfl player's association. new this morning now thousands of prison inmates will be free this weekend. it's part of the largest federal convict release ever. about 66 federal drug felon will be released to make room for more violent offender. authorities decided to lower the sentences for nonviolent drug offender. the republican party cutting ties with nbc for debate next month because they don't like

able to answer tough questions. several of the campaigns are planning to meet tomorrow to talk about what they would like debates. we have new details this morning on the deadly building collapse in china. officials there say 17 worker were killed and 23 hurt when building collapsed under construction. and it came crashing down. it happened friday afternoon building's foundation. nine worker are reportedly in serious condition. in new york building collapsed on friday killing a construction worker. another worker was trapped inside that rubble for quite sometime. they were doing construction on the building when it came crashing down. firefighters were able to free the man after three hours of digging. a sheriff's deputy making a great escape while in police custody. the officer managing to slip out of the handcuffs taking off with police just feet away. the suspect was initially

a gun at group of children. this morning the man the back behind bar after the night on the run. jadiann thompson has details. >> reporter: in less than two meants a deputy under arrest about to be booked into jail escapes in flip-flops with dpt deputies feet away. then deputies rolled down the window after tucker said he was feeling nay nauseous. you see him slipping out of cuff reaching through the window of sheriff's car unlocks the door from the outside and waits before opening the door. he then crouches by the car and calmly walked away with his hands in his pocket. when he reached the ramp he takes off running. not uncommon to double handcuff or roll a window. it's uncommon to not pay attention to that suspect. the sheriff said his deputies were focused on the computer where they were writing arrest report.

took 15 minutes for the deputies to realize tucker had escaped. one deputy inside the car searching. then they check the back seat twice and walk around the parking lot. the sheriff said the deputies were following procedure waiting for the downtown jail to lockdown so they could take the suspect inside. an escape at the jail has never happened before. the department is investigating that escape. jadiann thompson, 7news "today in new england." the day long manhunt ended when he was found on thursday afternoon. he was hiding in a garage. celtics taking on raptors in busy night at the garden. it was high scoring event. were they able to score more points than the team from toronto. tonight that weather worked out for evening activities; right m we'll look at the forecast and the 70 degrees that will arrive

into the 50s. trick-or-treaters you head out for own bucket of candy. it will be dry. breaking news this morning. heartbreaking story. egyptian officials say there are no survivors in a russian plane crash in the peninsula this morning. we have file video of what the plane involved looked like this they say there were more than 200 people onboard this jet. officials say the pilot reported that he needed to make an emergency landing then disappeared from the radar. russia. egypt's prime minister said the wreckage. at least 100 bodies have been found as well as well as the black box recorder which is key because it can help officials figure out what caused crash. violent hit-and-run and caught on camera locally. what started as morning commute for local doctor turned dangerous. now the doctor is speaking out as police continue trying to

find the driver involved in the hit-and-run. aryan schulteis has more. all i heard was get out of the way. stone was riding bike to work when he said this truck ran into him. the last thing i remember seeing his car pull into me. then i remember laying on the ground holding my wrist. then looking up and noticing that it was in direction it shouldn't be going. driver of the pickup truck took off leaving him laying on the ground. the idea you would do this and not stop really -- it makes someone -- it sort dehumanizes them. this x-ray shows how bad the break was and the plates and screws had to be used. i'm still working to gain function. he's now hoping this video will help identify the driver.
