ended up missing from the departments evidence room. >> i find the auditor report of unaccounted for items and poor record keeping practice by the police department to be deeply troubling and unacceptable. braintree's police chief ordered the audit after suspected something wasn't right. soon after sources say the officer in charge of the evidence room committed suicide. it's believed at least two of the missing guns were found in that officer's home. the state of the evidence room in braintree. prosecutors have already begun dismissing cases including one against 47-year-old steven o'brien. he was caught on video trying to kidnap a young child from a store and also had a previous drug charge that will now be thrown out. >> this is really going to open up a can of worms or whole pandora's box. defense lawyers commending district attorney's office for
