than the raw damp wind we had out there yesterday. generally cloudy skies. near steady temperatures. whatever you are comfortable wearing in the earliening hours you will be comfortable wearing in the late evening hours. upper 40s and low 50s to night. slight chance of a shower. tomorrow afternoon talk a little bit more about that. and your halloween forecast coming up in a few minutes. we're following some breaking news from overnight. one person is dead after a multicar crash in west borrow. five others were injured and they have been taken to area hospitals. they say one of the victims was trapped inside of the wreckage. three others were ejected from their vehicles. we'll keep following the story and bring the latest updates as we get more information in. police responding a shooting in brockton where officials say three people were shot outside of 7-eleven on belmonte street. all three have been taken to local hospital with minor injurecy. police are investigating. also on 7.

>> we're starting to take off. el we didn't get in the air. the right seemed like the right side engine blew. coordinated chaos. that's how that passenger described the scene onboard this american airlines plane in chicago. it was just about to take off for miami when it suddenly burst into flames. passengers started rushing toward the exit as the cabin began filling up with smoke. >> investigators are trying to figure out what fire. ryan schulteis with more on this terrifying scene. >> inside chaos as passengers rushed to get out. that's go. >> their terrifying exit captured on camera. some passengers tumbling down the escape slot. oh, my god.

for their lives. oh, my god. oh, my god. oh. >> investigators say the flights headed for miami when the right wing caught fire and partially collapsed. we start to take off. we didn't get in the air. and the right -- seemed like the right side engine blue. passengers. its unbeliefable. they evacuated off the port 170 persons and flight crew and adog. they all safely evacuated out of half the exits on the port side. and they went into the grass. about 20 people were hurt. their injury coming from quick evacuation down the slide. not uncommon to have ankle injuries. >> ryan schulteis. 7news "today in new england." another plane bursting into flame as well. this one a fed ex cargo plane in fort lauderdale.

and smoke. investigators say the plane had just landed from tennessee and the landing gear caught fire and the explosion ensued. you can see the foam on the ground. they used that foam to put tout fire. both pilots were able to escape without injuries. now to our election countdown. just ten days to go and in october surprise for democrat hillary clinton. the fbi announcing it is reviewing newly discovered e-mail tied to the the latest e-mail found during the investigation into alleged sexting by anthony wiener. tee defooint hillary clinton commanding they release more detail while donald trump pouncing on the news. here's tim caputo with the latest. >> a late octoberer surprise as hillary clinton e-mail scandal back on the spotlight. clinton calling an impromptu news conference where she demanded more answers. therefore it's imperative that

question whatever it is without delay. fbi director james comby sent a letter to congress stating they discovered more e-mails and it's prompted investigators to take another look at hillary clinton's use of a private e-mail server while secretary of state. nbc news reports the e-mails were found on seized laptop along with former congressman anthony wiener as they investigate text weaneer estranged wife used the same laptop to send e-mails to clinton and now the fbi checking those messages to see if there were any classified information on them. >> we don't know the facts which is why we're calling on the fbi to release all the information that it has. even director comby noted that this new information may not be significant. let's get it out.

girl is passed away. massachusetts state police say the girl got out and got caught in the door while that bus began to drive away. several other children on the bus at the time. they were not hurt. the bus driver interviewed by detective nows. tractor-trailer collides with another car in somerset on route 6. 7-year-old girl and her father were in that car. the girl is okay but her father was sent to rhode island hospital with serious injuries. route 6 completely shutdown as crew cleared the damage from the crash. no word yet on w up to that crash. >> also this morning major changes on the mass pike. massachusetts tolls are now officially all electronic the state making the switch last night. well that means is you can no longer use cash when paying for tolls. the big concern is the heavy traffic expected to begin on monday morning during the commute. here's jadiann thompson. >> reporter: construction equipment at the ready as big

starts very soon. toll collectors are now gone and everything is being rolled over to an automated system. one of the biggest concerns right now is traffic. officials are well aware it's not going to be easy. >> think of this as a snowstorm. and when we asked the public help. think it will snow twice a day every day for 22 days both during your morning and afternoon commute. >> drivers are also concerned about their commute. >> crazy. construction zone will stretch to boston. one and another end of the state to another. 23 correction are going in. we are confident that we will see safer pike and more convenient pike. a pike with fewer fender benders. traffic pattens will change. in phase one of construction crews will work at the center of the toll complexes to eventually allow traffic to pass through

the outside areas until all tollbooths are gone. and it is expected to be christmas of 2017 before all the work is done. it's going to be faster i think. >> really? >> yeah. i mean hope. a school bus driver who crashed a bus full of kids in quincy has now lost his license. mark woods was driving a city school bus with 32 elementary school student when he veered off the road slamming into another car or investigator say mechanical issue didn't cause the crash. they believe the driver was at fault here. woods on administrative leave but has president been charged. several student were taken to the hospital. passenger of uber that crashed in beacon hill talks about her terrifying trip. she was in the back seat on wednesday when she said her uber driver told her he couldn't stop accelerating. slamming into the brick wall of a home on grove street. look at the damage here.

but the best chance of rain tomorrow afternoon will be south of the pike. salem i think will be okay. tomorrow will be a little bit warmer. take your pick. as for halloween itself. i can't take credit for being that clever. but temperatures generally mid 40s. good news it will be dry. downside it will be cooler than you might expect for october 31st. right now 43 in boston. 41 in and afternoon temperature would be almost exactly where you would expect them to be for a late october afternoon and the winds are going to be a lot lighter than the last couple of day. combination slightly warmer weather and much lighter wind should make today feel a bit more comfortable. here's the downside as kris pointed out. a lot of green on the map. light stuff. a lot drys up before you it this

it's one of those day. get a few sprinkles but the bulk of the day will be dry. if you need to get out and mow the lawn or if you have to you still could. from time to time some sprinkles. a batch moving through. another batch in new york that will arrive probably early to midafternoon. and all part of a frontal boundary that will kind of park itself on top of us for most of the weekend. it's not going to be a bright beautiful weekend. but it's not going to be a washout by any means. few round of sp temperature wise will be fairly mild this evening. there's that front hanging out right on top of us tomorrow. another batch of moisture moves along the front late in the day and afternoon and evening. and mainly south of the pike. slight chance of a few showers tomorrow afternoon. south of the pike. and then slightly cooler weather behind that front. that's how we start off the work week. temperature wise today 57, 58, 59. that's almost exactly what you would expect for this time of year. same idea tomorrow. clear but cool for halloween.

every time a new charter opens, it takes money away from the regular public schools from students like mine. massachusetts schools already lose 400 million a year to charters and question two means we'll lose even more. we've got to stop taking from the 96 percent of kids who don't attend a charter school.

>> it's very similar to another case that happened last month. officers thatry particularly concerned with the trick-or-treater set to head out this afternoon. >> with halloween just days away brookline police are trying to find a man they say exposed himself to three elementary school aged kids tuesday afternoon. heard about it today during an e-mail from the superintendent of schools. it was police say the girl were near ward park when they walked by a silver gray car with the passenger's side door open. as they got a little bit closer they noticed that the male was maked from the waste down and fondling himself. a similar incident last month on greeno street where a man exposed himself to three middle school aged kids near brookline high school. the male got out of the vehicle with no pants on.

side. and the female walked by. both incident involve a man described to be in his 20s driving a silverish gray four-door car. because of the similarities police are urging people who live in the area to be on the lookout. >> that's shocking. but obviously we're hoping this person gets caught. in brookline is a safe neighborhood. you hope it stays that way. 7news "today in new england." police in concorde are searching for a man who they say followed a child home from school and took pictures of him. police releasing the p the man's car. take a look. see if you recognize it. they are warning parent the man allegedly told the child he had candy after the body ignores him the driver took pictures of him as he went into the house. parents say their change of plans may be in store. >> i do work at the high school here. and i would say it's a pretty safe place. i don't think anywhere is safe unfortunately. things like that don't happen very often. we tend to let the children

worrying. >> concorde schools say their staff reminding all students to avoid traininger and not to go near any cars they don't know. >> also this morning the u.s. people security taking on first transgender bathroom case. the court said they would hear the appeal friday from transgender teen gavin who wants to use the boy's bathroom at his high school. a lower court ruled in favorment. last summer they suspended the trial while they considered an appeal from the school board. >> a dramatic rescue caught on camera when a new mexico police officer rushes in to save an elderly driver after her car catches on fire. police say the women had been driving with flat tire. it eventually caught on fire and started spreading. >>the officer was able to get the women out of the car to safety. and then rescued hurricane before moving into the put the fire out all by himself. no one was fortunately injured in the rescue. >> there's new details about a lawsuit over johnson & johnson's baby powder in the company

lawyers are reviewing thousands of other potential cases as well. and affirmative action bake sale sparking controversy in texas. group of student at the university of texas called the young conservatives of texas hosted the bake sale selling the same cookies for different prices depending on the customer's race. some other student protested the bake sale this week calling it offensive. it's a poor analogy. wasn't a good idea. armt complicated issue than this. this opened up a gateway for people to talk about it. >> the entire bake sale in itself. i understand what they are trying to say. its offensive. the university issued a statement saying the bake sale did not represent the ideals the university strives toward. there's more news today. historic landmark getting some restoration. it's a big landmark. literally. big ben. the clocks housed in london the list tower.
