track waldrop down so quickly. live in liberty adrian acosta the four o'clock news. 3 covering our counties at four-- -- 3 a spartanburg man is behind bars this afternoon--accused of leading police on a chase in a stolen s-u-v! s-u-v!reports state officers spotted the carjacked s-u-v on vernon street and tried to pull it over...but the driver kept going.officers eventually cornered the s-u-v at the hidden park apartment complex...where deandre hughes was arrested.hughes is facing a number of charges--including armed robbery and possession of a weapon. 3 spartanburg police are working to track down vandals who they say spray-painted profanities on the sidewalk and walls of a building in cleveland park! park!the graffiti was discovered yesterday by crews doing renovations to the park...and a can of spray paint was found nearby.we caught up with a contractor this afternoon--who says it's a shame to see the park treated this way--especially after all the work that was put in to reviving it.nearly five years ago...tragedy struck when six-year-old benji

that's when the deputy pulled her over.he says thomason was irate and was yelling and cursing...and when he asked her to get out of the car...she once again sped off-- sparking a chase.deputies say she lost control of the car at a dead end on holly street and crashed.deputies then cuffed her...and say thomason spit on the arresting officer.thomason was taken to the hospital... but is expected to go before a judge this afternoon. afternoon.thomason faces a number of charges--including reckless driving, failure to stop for blue lights, and assault on a police officer. last month--she was arrested after deputies say she led them on a chase in a car that only had there wheels. 3 an investigation is under way after an s-u-v --that was reported stolen--was found submerged in an anderson county river. river.rescue crews were called to the intersection of dry oak road and holiday dam road just after 9 this morning after a car was seen in the saluda river.officials say no one was inside the s-u-v...and no one was hurt.deputies tell us the

news you need to know---- 3 a pickens county man is now charged with the murder of a mother of four--who was found shot to death at a boat ramp on saluda lake. lake.the sheriff's office says 22-year-old "kasey waldrop"
