"would you agree you did a better more competent job of

"she had a role with the state and that role ended and then she had a role with wellcare so the allegation that aetna has brought just has no evidence to support it"companies were also told to refrain from contacting certain individuals involved in the bidding process during specific blackout dates in fairness to all companies involved... schulte believed steir was not in that group... authorities say 61-year-old robert scarbrough hit the student in the head and threw him to the ground. officials say it all started when the student wasn't following directions...and then said an inflammatory comment towards scarbrough. officers say a group of students notified a polk county deputy as soon as they got of the bus. scarbrough was then arrested at the scene. he is now charged with assault to cause injury and child endangerment. the district says they have never had a problem with scarbrough. he was hire from the start of the school year, underwent all of the behavioral training programs the drivers go through and as i said unfortunately made a lot of bad choices today at how to deal with a student issue. scarbrough has been put on unpaid administrative leave until the investigation is complete. a des moines teen says he was sent to the hospital after being bullied...and that the school district isn't doing anything about it. 14 - year - old steven salgado claims another student
intentionally slammed a desk into his foot, fracturing it. the alleged incident happened on monday at jessie franklin taylor education center in des moines. the boy's mother says her son has a learning disability and has been bullied for years. she says the district's zero tolerance bullying policy has no consequences...and punishes victims rather than the bullies. 123309 - if you keep doing something over and over repeatedly and you never have any consequences for it and nothing ever happens....why would you stop the des moines public school district say it can't go into the specifics of the case.... but it released a statement saying quote... we did receive a report of bullying at the school this week. there was an injury to a students foot, which the student initially attributed to 'horsing around.. end quote. they went on to say they will continue to work for a resolution" however the boy's mother says she is now considering home - schooling her son. authorities in central minnesota say there may have been a break in the
the f-b-i says 52-year-old danny heinrich , of annandale, minnesota, was arrested on federal child pornography charges last night. they have labeled him as "a person of interest in the wetterling case". but say at this point, he has not been charged with a crime connected to jacob's disappearance. jacob was 11-years-old when he was abducted in 1989 from the community of st. joseph, minnesota. he was riding his bike with his brother and a friend on a rural road, when a man came up to them and took jacob. there's been no trace of him since then. federal officials say they recently started a "cold case" review on jacob's disappearance, using d-n-a technology that wasn't available back then. and that's what led to heinrich's arrest. a local teenager was arrested....accused of enticing a 6 and 8 year old to have sex with each other. a criminal complaint says that 18-year-old kyle calvert asked an 8- year-old girl to commit a sex act on her 6-year-old brother. the report says he used a video app called oovoo to communicate with
them. the complaint also says that calvert admitted to having the video...and later told police that he had just been "messing around." he now faces two count of lascivious acts with a child. a woman in eastern iowa is dead after being hit by a car this morning. officers say 59-year-old terry harp was trying to cross a cedar falls street when she was hit. they say the car had the green light... officers don't expect charges to be filed against the driver. police in monroe are trying to figure out who stole and vandalized several cars.. four cars were stolen earlier this week. one has been recovered...the other three are still missing. police also say six vehicles were vandalized. authorities think this is all connected. if you have any information you are asked to call police. summer clung on for quite a while this year....but the fall weather as finally arrived. we'll head over to chief meteorologist ed wilson for a first check of the weather. tonight winds will become less of a factor as lows once again slide into the 30s. friday may see some sun early, but clouds will start to move in during the afternoon. skies will be mostly cloudy and temperatures will be in the 50s for trick or treating on beggar's night. rain moves

finally tonight....the iowa animal rescue league provided a distraction from people's normal workdays. the shelter is hosting the program called uber-kittens. 5 uber cars brought adoptable kittens to several des moines businesses. for 30 dollars workers got 15 minutes of snuggle and play time. that money will be used to support the animal rescue league. nov. 1 nfl on nbc: packers @ broncos jeb bush was a very strong governor, probably the strongest governor in the history of the state of florida. he was a young guy
