young victims. the story is first on 13... a heart breaking loss... multiplied by three. the sorenson kids went to southeast webster grand elementary in dayton.. the youngest, 4 year old brayden.. 15:45:02 he was eager to learn something new every day. he always had a smile on his face 06 next, kindergartner, autumn. 15:45:12 autumn she said was like sugar and spice. and finally, the oldest- fourth grader, riley 15:46:24 very competitive spirit, but very helpful, friendly 28 the kids died and their mom, amber, died when their house in boxholm caught fire early sunday morning. principal dan grandfield says school officials met with each grade to explain what happened. 15:39:48 we were up front with them as far as the facts- there was a fire, they all died. we wanted to let them know that they are safe and they will be ok while they are here 01 the district brought in a crisis

find a link to the page on who tv dot com. fire also destroyed a strawberry point restaurant early yesterday morning. fire crews from three departments responded. they worked in shifts to prevent frostbite. crews also kept fire hoses on the entire time... fearing they would freeze if shut off. it still wasn't enough.. the restaurant is total loss. most people in iowa.. and people across the midwest avoided the outdoors this weekend. others got creative to keep the cold out.
