just yesterday a ted cruz campaign staffer said endorsing donald trump would be a blow to sarah palin... the senator was more cordial... presidential candidate i love sarah palin, without her friendship and support i wouldn't be in the senate today. regardless of what sarah does in 2016, i will remain a big fan of sarah palin's. cruz might not feel the same way about governor branstad, who shocked people all over the country today when he inserted himself into the republican race. branstad told political director dave price he's not endorsing a candidate before caucus night...but he is telling iowans who not to support. this booth had set up to make a

the group's booth's surrounded by dozens of others here at the iowa renewable fuels summit. they're all signed up to push the alternative fuels support. they say add them all up...and they mean 73,000 jobs and five billion dollars a year to the state of iowa. but they see a threat.

and that's really the case in new hampshire... a c-n-n poll released today has sanders ahead of clinton by 27-points. the same poll had sanders up by ten- points a month ago. in iowa.. sanders and clinton are neck-and-neck. the polls might not be clinton's only worry. the u-s inspector general says both top secret and "special access program" information were found on clinton's private email server. special access programs are a step above top secret. clinton used the private server while secretary of state. she maintains all information sent on the server was not top secret at the time it was sent. doctor ben carson canceled his events today to mourn the loss of a campaign volunteer... four campaign workers were involved in a crash this morning on i-80 in cass county... this is what's left of the van they were in. police say the van flipped in the icy conditions and was hit by another car. three of the people were treated and released.

and this case will decide if more than 4-million illegal immigrants are allowed to stay in the u-s. the supreme court announced today that it will take up president obama's executive action on immigration. actions more than half the country is trying to block... the president's executive order allows more than four million illegal immigrants whose children are u.s. citizens to apply for work permits... 26 states sued shortly after the

the supreme court will hear arguments in april... and would likely issue its ruling in june. iowa's latino community says the supreme court's decision is a positive step.... however.. they also know because its an executive order... the nine justices don't have the final say... stephanie moore explains. the latino community is finally having its day in court... 'this is a good thing, were glad the supreme court is going to hear this case.' joe henry from the the iowa league of united american citizens says this is good news...but could it could be short lived... even if the supreme court sides with president obama, the next president could wipe the program away. 'she became a u.s. citizen in 1996 and because i was under the age of 18, i was her son she applied for me immediately and as a child i qualified for the amnesty right away, so i went from undocumented to documented and a u.s. citizen in 1998.' ucles says he was fortunate and continues to fight for immigration reform because others are not as lucky... 'this situation is dire because youre sending people to the shadows, people who just want to have the chance at the american dream. both men are hopeful the supreme court will side with the president but say the upcoming election is critical and a more permanent solution is needed... views on immigration reform... today, ted cruz and marco rubio said they are hopeful the supreme court will find obama's executive action unconstitutional but regardless would undo any plan if they are elected. a lot of people are going to want to know where judge judy stands on the immigration issue. that's because nearly ten-percent of college graduates believe judge judith sheindlin serves on the u-s supreme court. that's one of several alarming revelations in a poll conducted by the american council of trustees and alumni. out of a-thousand college graduates polled, more than half believed the father of the constitution was thomas jefferson. it was james madison. jefferson wrote the declaration of independence. forty-percent didn't know that congress has the power to declare war. -ice jam on rock river in the quad cities- we usually have to wait until state to see a central iowa
