"this just might be the kind of move that excites someone that supports donald trump but wasn't sure if they were going to go out and caucus on a cold night." in 20-10 sarah palin endorsed 64- candidates across the

by 27- points. the same poll had sanders up by ten- points just a month ago. in iowa.. sanders and clinton are neck-and-neck. the polls might not be clinton's only worry. the u-s inspector general says both top secret and "special access program" information were found on clinton's private email server. special access programs are a step above top secret. clinton used the private server while secretary of state. she maintains all information sent on the server was not top secret at the time it was sent. doctor ben carson is speaking out for the first time about the man who died campaigning for him yesterday... yesterday four of his campaign workers went into a ditch in cass county... this is what was left of the van they were in. police say it flipped in icy conditions and was hit by another car. three of the people were treated and released. 25-year old braden joplin was rushed to an omaha hospital where he died of his injuries. carson posted a photo of joplin on twitter and canceled his events for the rest of the day. people in sioux city have found a unique way of honoring a delivery man... take a look... dozens of u-p-s trucks drove together along highway 75 before splitting off on their routes. it was all in memory of a long-time carrier. the man worked for u-p-s for 25 years, sorting, loading, and delivering packages. iowa's latino community is responding to news from

th morning... the supreme court announced it will take up president obama's immigration push... the executive action would grant work permits to more than four million illegal immigrants whose children are u-s citizens. local immigrants say they're happy the community is finally having its day in court... 'this is a good thing, were glad the supreme court is going to hear this case.' 'we need comprehensive immigration reform, congress needs to address this, they need to work with the president to make this happen.' 26 states sued shortly after the president's executive order was issued. the supreme court will hear arguments in april... and will likely issue its ruling in june. we're learning that des moines'

caucus time... yesterday she endorsed republican donald trump at a campaign rally in ames. analysts predict this will give him a significant boost among conservatives in iowa... we're now just 12 days away from our first in the nation caucus. governor branstad is stepping out against ted cruz.... he said yesterday at the renewable fuels conference the republican is more focused on catering to texas oil than iowa ethanol... because of that... he said he wants cruz defeated. cruz did not attend the conference. he called branstad's comments exactly what voters are tired of. good news this morning for anyone dreaming of some place tropical after yesterday's fresh layer of snow... air fares are running at 3-year lows... with the best bargains coming in the next few weeks... as nbc's tom costello reports.. now. if you've got some flexibility, the next few weeks may offer up some of the best air fares in years! -a quick trip to honolulu?
