interest, bringing young people in that's really showing in new hampshire... a c-n-n poll released yesterday has sanders ahead of clinton by 27- points. the same poll had sanders up by ten- points just a month ago. in iowa.. sanders and clinton are neck-and-neck. that's leaving clinton with added pressure to locks in iowans support... she'll chip away at that today... as she, rick santorum, mike huckabee, donald trump and carly fiorina all make stops across the state... fiorina is back in des moines over the noon hour. she'll speak in the iowa right to life forum... at the des moines botanical gardens. meanwhile young iowans are learning how to show their political support. mccombs middle school will hold a mock caucus for 7th graders this morning. they're also doing straw poll of the other grade levels. funeral services are now set for a mother and her three children

27 year old amber sorenson, along with riley, autumn, and brayden... all died. they were trapped in an upstairs bedroom. investigators believe a space heater used to keep the family's pets warm caused the fire. visitation for the sorenson's will be friday, from four to eight at southeast valley middle school in burnside. the funeral is saturday at 10-30, also at the school. the fort dodge fire department is still battling flames despite the cold.. 05:08-05:13 we've been able to keep the trucks from freezing up, as soon as you shut down the water it'll freeze, so we try to keep it moving crews have been fighting this fire at a goodyear tire warehouse since monday afternoon. so far they've poured more than one-point-five million gallons of water on it... but they are still finding hot spots. investigators from the state fire marshal's office arrived yesterday to begin determining the cause. other winged species are more welcome here in des moines...

beekeepers are suing the environmental protection agency. a group of commercial beekeepers, growers, and environmental activists want seeds treated with neonicotinoids to be regulated as a pesticide and the lawsuit says the epa has not done so under the federal insecticide, fungicide, and rodenticide act. the groups allege dust from neonicotinoid coated seeds harms the environment, including honey bees and birds. the federal government holds a treated article exemption, which excludes seeds being regulated as pesticides. the epa regulates them as treated seeds as well. neonicotinoids have been under scrutiny for the last two years as potentially causing a decline a hurting bee population. in 2014, a meta-analysis of 800 peer-reviewed reports suggested they could be more harmful to pollinators than originally
