on iowa's last debate stage before caucus time... but this morning the podium lineup is getting shorter... we've had six debates now, why should the networks continue getting rich on these debates. and so i am going to be making a decision with fox, but i probably won't bother doing the debate. trump said yesterday during a stop in marshalltown he's pulling out of tomorrow's debate

his campaign manager later confirmed the decision to the washington post. trump says it's because he doesn't respect fox news anchor megyn kelly.... after she questioned him about controversial comments he'd made against women. now trump says he'll host a separate event in iowa, as the debates go on without him. he says it would be a fundraiser event for wounded warrior, but so far no location or time has been announced. tomorrow's debate will be the last before monday's caucuses. it's being held at the iowa events center. coverage starts at 8 p-m on fox news channel. a quinnipiac poll of likely iowa caucus goers released just yesterday shows trump in a dead heat here in the state. he gets 31 percent support... just three ahead of ted cruz with 29 percent. marco rubio comes in third, at 13 percent. no other candidate received double digit support. a democratic poll of iowans' support is set to be released later this morning. we'll bring you those results as

restaurants and tourists seek out these restaurants when they travel into town. it's helping put dsm on the map. smaller restaurants especially will see a big increase. things have changed drastically over 30 years. restaurants used to be nervous about accommodating caucus crowds but now business is up enough throughout the year, that they don't do much to change. hotel occupancy rate: usually hotels are filled to about 60 percent, during caucuses it's up to 88 or 90 percent occupancy. 1,600 credentialed media for the media filing center. ars are now filed in a

charges are now filed in a deadly crash that killed an eastern iowa man. it happened sunday in clermont. 38-year-old james tackett died at the scene -- officers say he may have been drunk. a five-year-old girl was in the backseat at the time -- but is expected to be ok. investigators say she was the daughter of tackett's girlfriend -- 27-year-old hilary upton. they say upton knowingly let her daughter be alone with tackett-- a registered sex offender. the mother is now charged with child endangerment. low gas prices are here to stay for a little while. at least according to petroleum

you can fill up in the metro for an average of 1.87 a gallon right now. the lowest price is at sam's club in ankeny... where it's 1.44 a gallon. experts say prices will go back up in march -- when refineries aren't producing as much gas -- but they should stay below three dollars
