"it's gotten bigger from the time we started from back in early october started here in south carolina, we went all the way through tulsa oklahoma, every place we went to got larger and larger and larger." we'll check back in momentarily. in the democratic camp, hillary clinton is declared the winner of the iowa caucus by a razor thin margin. bernie sanders says it was a virtual tie and regardless of the loss, he says he still has the momentum. former maryland governor martin o'malley called it quits after

clinton's camp is headed to the palmetto state to try and win the minority vote. will be in columbia tomorrow to meet with democratic leaders at the state house and then speak at a rally at allen university. former president clinton will talk about schools, roads and gun violence. the rally starts at 6 pm; doors open at 4. sanders and clinton will make closing arguments to new hampshire voters tomorrow in a democratic town hall -- less than a week before its primary. the event will broadcast live on cnn starting at 8 p-m. next tuesday voters in new hampshire will have their say in decision 2016. our will whitson will be there providing live coverage starting on monday. and then it's south carolina's turn. the republican primary is saturday, february 20th. the democratic primary is the following week on february 27th. the registration deadline to vote in our primaries has

we're following reports of a tornado that touched down in alabama tonight... here's some video of this tornado - powerful storm system moving through there. this tornado touched down in pickens county affecting several towns. we know there has been some damage there-- including the federal corrections institute in the town of aliceville and homes nearby. trees and utility poles are down. the storm originated in mississippi - moving northeast. meteorologists expect it to continue to track through fayette county. we'll keep you up to date with the latest. survivors and family members of those murdered at emanuel ame church were at benedict college today. they spoke with students about how june 17th changed their lives. under the theme "no greater faith," the group went into depth about how the shooting shook their faith but also made it stronger. denise quarles lost her mother myra thompson in the shooting. her message to students is to

just in the past weekend. this is a map of where cars have been stolen inn richland county. 13 were taken from january 15th through february 2nd. authorities warn that apartment complexes have been the most hit target. there are precautions to avoid becoming a victim. "get an automatic start for your vehicle. have another set of keys where you can lock the vehicle. of course, we ask that you don't leave your vehicle unnatended while it's running, unless you have that auto start, where if anyone tries to break in and step on the gas it automatically shuts off. but, it's one of those things where, it's a crime of opportunity and we're trying to prevent that." some problem areas are broad river road and garners ferry road. the richland county sheriff's department is warning car owners to remain vigilant. a bridge along caughman road is now open in richland county after being closed due to the floods. one of the homeowners living along the road tells us getting around has been a challenge. he says they've worried about fire trucks and ambulances making it to emergencies quickly and school buses have had to
