swimming pool. officers were called to the scene just after 10-30 last night. police say the teen jumped into the pool -- which was closed at the time. he then had trouble swimming-- sinking to the bottom of the pool. when police got there, they jumped into the pool, pulled the teen out and began c-p-r. but he died on scene. milwaukee police are also investigating what appears to be an accidental death. officials say a 38-year-old man was working on a car yesterday afternoon, when the car fell on top of him-- crushing him. he was alone when he was found. mother's garage at the time. kim and jessob. back to you. the man accused of drowning his three month old son in a pond will be in court today. police say 25-year-old sean flowers had gotten into an argument with the infant's mother earlier this month. that's when officers say he waded into the pond near 76th and brown deer road. when a witness swam in to try and save the baby, he says flowers lunged at him, took the baby and swam deeper with him. flowers is charged with first degree intentional homicide.
scheduled for later this morning. also today-- a personal trainer in brookfield-- accused of sexually assaulting a client-- is due in court. 52-year old joseph richmond was allegedly working with a 50 year old female client in a physical therapy session at the "g-form fitness" in brookfield. the woman claims richmond made her feel uncomfortable after he allegedly brushed his hand against her breast. in another incident, richmond allegedly straddled her on top of a massage table and sexually assaulted her. a milwaukee man will spend 25 years in a state mental health johnson is found guilty...but not guilty due to mental disease after he briefly abducted a 7-year-old girl last summer.johnson reportedly took the girl because he thought she was his and her mother wasn't taking care of her. she eventually escaped. the judge handed down the maximum sentence in this case-- citing johnson's history of not taking his medicine. four men are charged in connection to a deadly armed robbery. authorities say the men wanted
back on july 13-th. according to a criminal complaint, 21-year-old deanthony bradley pointed a gun at her head with his finger on the trigger. bradley told police when the victim tried to drive away the gun went off-- killing her. wood's father says every day since her death has been a struggle. he says the arrests bring his family one step closer to justice. the guy that did it, he ruined lots of lives. i hope they get what...everyone one of them gets what they have coming to them. her father says they are taking their mother's death especially hard. we have information on how to help those two kids--on our website fox 6 now dot com. a sheboygan bartender --face-to- face with an armed robber -- gets the suspect out of his tavern without anyone being hurt. and when the police arrived... they shot and killed the 37-year-old kevin higgins. but the bartender... kurt klessig got caught in the crossfire.
klessig had to be flown to froedtert hospital-- where his medical bills started adding up. his right forearm was shattered by a bullet. sheboygan police referred him to the state's "victim assistance program." and while he doesn't blame the officers who fired at the suspect-- he would like more help from the city. a cudahy police dispatcher is accused of misconduct in public office. "melissa mueller" was jail this week. we're told investigators started looking into the case late last month. and charges were referred to the milwaukee county district attorney's office this week. mueller is on unpaid administrative leave -- while the investigation continues. the american red cross is stepping in to help out several families who are out of their homes after an apartment building goes up in flames. first responders on scene found the second story of the sheboygan falls building completely engulfed in flames. police say nobody was inside when the
had minor injuries. as for the cause of the fire -- that remains under investigation -- but we're told it appears to be accidental. eight units were damaged enough in the fire to displace the families that lived there. milwaukee police chief ed flynn-- attending a crime and policing summit in chicago.. the meeting at the university of chicago comes just days after the deadliest day in chicago in 13 years. monday alone - nine people were killed by gunfire across the city. flynn along with top police officials from nearly a dozen other major cities -- discussed national trends in crime, and the prob if we were to draw and elipsis and a density map around our highest poverty neighbors with our highest rate of unemployment highest rate of school drop outs and the highest number of abandoned home with that elipis would be the location of our highest rates of violence. we're the social agency of first resort for the poor. flynn went on to say that he and others feel like they're located in states that are "hostile" to their
donald trump's running mate returns to wisconsin today. mike pence will be in la crosse and milwaukee today, while trump plans to be back in the badger sate next week. but hillary clinton has surged to a 15- point lead over trump here. that, according to the latest marquette law school poll -- the first conducted since the national conventions. the 15 point lead is among people who say they're going to vote in november. last month, the margin was just four points. several pundits responded by saying wisconsin is no longer a swing franklin isn't ready to hand the state's electoral votes to clinton. it may change between now and november, but where we are right now at a 15 point lead is about where the 2008 election turned out with a 14-point obama victory. meanwhile-- governor scott walker is speaking out about trump's latest controversy. walker says the republican nominee ... needs to stay on message. walker spoke with fox 6 at the
auction at the wisconsin state fair. walker says trump ... needs to focus on why he's the better candidate for working americans. the key for donald trump is he has to get back to talking about why hes gonna make america better for everyday workers in the state and across the country. if he talks about anything else it takes away from his message. as for whether trump can improve his poll numbers here in the dairy state ... walker says poll numbers can go up and down like a roller coaster ... and based on history ... wisconsin is a swing state. wisconsin's controversial voter i-d law is back in federal court. an appeals court stayed a previous ruling yesterday which struck down parts of the law. judge lynn adelman had issued an injunction last month which would allow people to vote without an i-d... only if they signed an affadavit saying they could not get an i-d and why. but this ruling throws out that exception. the appeals court in chicago argued adelman's decision would eventually be reversed on appeal -- and would

the state fair. that's because city officials say they made a mistake when they handed out expensive parking tickets near state fair park last weekend. when drivers on 75th street near main street parked friday, they saw a 3 hour parking sign. when they returned, a new "tow away" sign was on top of it and a 60 dollar parking ticket on their windshield. a city official says tickets weren't supposed to be handed out until saturday, but there was miscommunication with the milwaukee police department. neighbors are furious. these people don't even realize that what they were doing ws going to pay. if you got one of these tickets--- don't pay it. police say call the number on the back of the ticket and it should be voided. canadian police believe they have foiled a potential terror plot. how they were proactive in the investigation. the man accused of a deadly shooting spree at a colorado planned parenthood will be in court today. details on today's competency hearing. at least two dozen people are hurt in a massive apartment fire in maryland.

whether robert dear is competent to stand trial police say he opened fire at the clinic in colorado springs last november-- killing 3 people and injuring nine. authorities say dear admitted what he did and expressed no remorse. he was ruled not-competent last may and has since been in colorado's state mental institution. the so-called "grim sleeper" is sentenced in a california court. angelica joins us from the newsroom with the details. a california judge upheld the death sentence for the 63-year old. franklin junior" was convicted earlier this year for killing nine women and a teenage girl. the murders happening from 19- 85 to 2007 -- franklin was arrested in 20- 10. he was dubbed the "grim sleeper" because of the 13-year gap between killings. during the trial -- franklin was connected to five additional murders. officials believed he may have killed at least 25-women. prosecutors say the one-time garbage truck driver and l-a-p-d attendant was a serial killer hiding in plain
