hand, i know there was a lot of concern. he had really really good lawyers. he was young, he has mental limitations. so, i don't think it comes as a total surprise to people. and i don't believe that it's going to impact steven avery's conviction much. i think that's a totally separate issue. after hearing the news -- steven avery's former attorney -- jerry buting -- tweeted this out. he says -- "jusc strikes!" and avery's current lawyer tweeted quote: "justice for brendan as another law enforcement fabricated confession bites the dust. convicting the innocent foiled by unbiased court." dassey is currently serving his prison sentence at columbia correctional institution in portage. the court has ordered that he be freed from prison within 90 days... unless the case is appealed. live in the newsroom, ashley

suspects arrested. fox six's justin williams is live in cudahy with the latest. cudahy's police chief calls today challenging ... as officers, here, have to handle a police pursuit, a violent crash involving a squad vehicle, and multiple suspects being taken into custody. as you watch his surveillance video, i saw walter, coming down, this way, and then i heard the police siren, comin this way ... you see what richard conti, junior saw at the intersection of cudahys kirkwood and munkwitz avenues, just before 10-30, friday morning. the sudden, it was like, boom! there it was. its a difficult, and challenging, circumstance. one which cudahy police chief tom poellot says began when witnesses report spotting this van, near the intersection of kirkwood and squire. i saw three people get out of the car, and they, kind of, rotated places, in the car. the chief explains, the car, a grey, dodge stratus, along with

driving recklessly, by police. when a traffic stop was initiated, the neon crashes into a traffic signal, where mallory avenue meets packard. two suspects in the neon then ran to the stratus, but ... a police officer blocks the path of the stratus, and is immediately assisted by a citizen, who comes up, from behind, and uses his vehicle to stop the stratus. after two suspects were pursued, on- foot a total of six suspects were captured by police. meanwhile, this happened, as a supporting officer raced to assist. all told, the chief finds some relief in the results. we have three, stolen vehicles in impound. we have six suspects in custody. so, well see where the investigation takes us, from here. the first place he hopes it takes investigators is where they can ascertain the true identities of

he didnt think. he just jumped he landed on his back and fractured his spine attempting to help and catch a glimpse of the suspect. drive over the median just kept going, a black truck milwaukee police say the victim was hit by a small, dark colored suv with tinted windows. emergency crews attempted life saving efforts. they did try for a very long time and they tried to revive her but she died on the scene. in an area with lots of pedestrians, shaken up neighbors want dri down, and someone to speak up. whoever you are that did this please come forward and turn yourself in.. have a heart. according to the medical examiner the victim died from multiple blunt force injuries. officials continue to search for the driver of the dark colored small suv who was speeding. anyone with

the man charged in connection to a fatal fourth of july shooting headed to trial. derrick mathews was in court today for a preliminary hearing -- where a judge bound him over for trial. prosecutors say he provided the gun to his sister -- donna matthews -- who allegedly shot and killed michael gayan in kenosha. family members say donna matthews used to date gayan -- and had been a victim of his abuse for years. to the badger state next week. the republican presidential nominee is expected to hold a pair of fundraisers in the state on tuesday. one of those will be in milwaukee. trump was in green bay a week ago. yesterday -- his running mate mike pence made two stops in the state. the latest marquette university law school poll shows trump trailing democrat hillary clinton by 15 points among likely voters in wisconsin.

affair. a wisconsin fugitive faces new charges in illinois-- for allegedly stabbing four people and a dog. police say 29 year-old "jacob beeman" -- of adams county -- broke into the buffalo grove home wednesday morning --- thinking there were drugs and cash inside. three of the stabbing victims were treated and released. the homeowner is still hospitalized in in serious condition. it might've been too cloudy last night to see the perseid meteor shower-- but another a chance. the meteor shower is expected to peak again tonight. it shows up every august and features an average of 100 meteors an hour. nasa says forecasters are predicting double the normal rate this year ... toss to weather
