died. the vehicle was located a couple blocks away and police are still looking for the driver. for the second night in a row...tensions in the sherman park neighborhood seem to have subsided. but there is a lot of rebuilding to do...after angry crowds set fires to businesses over the weekend. federal authorities are offering a reward. deandra corinthios is live near sherman and burleigh to explain. the bp gas station...one of eight businesses set on fire... stores...a beauty supply store...a bmo harris bank and a supermarket. millions of dollars in damage. and there is a 10 thousand dollar reward from the a-t-f for information leading to an arrest or conviction of those responsible for the arson. angry crowds took to the streets in the sherman park neighborhood saturday night. they were protesting the shooting death of 23 year old sylville smith...by

armed with a gun. in the chaos ...officers were injured...businesses were looted and property was set on fire. three of those fires are near the intersections of 35th, fond du lac, and burleigh. some business owners aren't sure if they should rebuild fearing for their safety. but the owner of a to z wholesale...says while it is an emotional time... the weekend's violence will not stop him. he's owned the liquor store for 14 years. "i'm a humble person and i don't wish bad on nobody and i believe the good lord is going to get me through meanwhile...sherman park has been closed since 6 pm and will re open at 6 am for the second night in a row. a 10 pm curfew for teens was also enforced overnight. reporting live in the sherman park

republican presidential candidate donald trump dealing with yet another campaign shakeup this morning. he now has a new chief executive and campaign manager less than three months from election day. and this move comes after his visit to wisconsin. trump made several stops yesterday including milwaukee and west bend. he visited the war memorial to meet with sheriff david clarke and other law enforcement. clarke has previously said he would be a 'foot soldier' for trump. "here's what i want out of a president. let us police at the local level. it's a state rights issue. the st a vested interest in policing crime. k? support us." meanwhile - during trump's visit in west bend....the g-o-p candidate discussed the violence in milwaukee...and stuck to his teleprompted script. he blames the recent events on democratic polices. and donald trump drew an enthusiastic crowd to west bend last night. supporters say what they like about trump ... is that he's not afraid to ruffle feathers ... and say what he thinks. they like that he is a businessman

milwaukee... some are calling on the city to hire more police officers. this as the city is preparing its 2017 budget. a listening session was held last night. the biggest line item by far is the milwaukee police department. mayor tom barrett says its a complex issue and that adding more staff at m-p-d will not be easy. he says the cost of police pensions... and dwindling state funds... has cost the city a fortune. he supports pensions for city employees.. alone, they cost taxpayers 30-million dollars for police. this was just the first of several listening sessions planned. the budget will be presented to the citys 'finance and personnel committee' in october. homeowners along racine county's lake michigan shoreline take another step towards a solution to the persistent problem of bluff erosion.... u-s senator tammy baldwin took a tour of the toppling bluffs yesterday...saying she is part of the plan. those longer-term solutions do take time, do take integrated

was able to call 9-1-1. when police arrived they say harrouff was biting one of the victim's faces.... and officers say they had to pull the teen off the victim. police say they have not determined any motive...and are looking into whether harrouff may have been on hallucinogenic drugs at the time. we're learning more about the milwaukee police officer who fired the fatal shots at sylville smith on saturday. the officer comes from the very neighborhoods he patrols. fox 6 investigator bryan polcyn has more on the offier surprising tweets and his very own rap video. "got some workers on the payday. never trip what they say..." this is the milwaukee police officer who shot sylville smith... in a rap video posted on youtube long before the shooting, he makes reference to civil unrest over police use of force. "i'm gonna start a riot like it's baltimore."fox 6 news is aware of the officer's identity, but we are choosing not to name him at this time, because the investigation is ongoing and he has not been accused of any

the very inner city milwaukee neighborhoods he patrols. he was first appointed a police aide in 2010... then promoted to probationary officer in 2013... a period that was extended for 97 days in 2014. around that same time, he tweeted about getting wasted, blowing money at strip clubs and casinos. and in one ominous tweet, he wrote, karma comes quicker for a racial slur gun.three years later, he shot and killed 23-year-old syville smith, a young man who once attended the same high school as him. "i'm all about my dollar, in god we trust..." in october of 2013, he wrote "how long does this drug called fame be lasting?" it appears he's about to find out... but for a reason he never expected. the officer's twitter account hadn't been used since 2014, but remained accessible until tuesday. a search for the account now shows it does not exists. bryan polcyn, fox 6
