apartments. there was no little about this fire. ive never seen, ive never seen anything like that before. one woman died when fire consumed the complex on business drive near carmen. we noticed a well involved fire on the northside of this building we immediately started our fire extinguishing activities and immediately started calling for additional help because of the size and scope of the fire apparently theyre just gonna level the place jacqueline dirksen is among 35 neighbors ... now staying at this emergency shelter at farnsworth middle and were all in the same boat were all homeless. many of them left without the shirt on their back without the medications they needed. with more than 40 units affected ... the red cross put out an expanded call for service. weve got volunteers who have come down from green bay, over from oshkosh, up from the milwaukee area. we were helping pound on doors you know to make sure everybody was out and theres some people who dont speak english so i was yelling

the person injured. no other details were released. a famous guitarist is found dead in a west bend hotel. matt roberts was a founding member of the rock band "3 doors down". he was found unconscious in the hallway of this "hampton inn". family members tell t-m-z they believe he overdosed on prescription pills. roberts was in west bend this weekend for a benefit concert. he was just 38 years old. in milwaukee county-- the medical examiner's office has lincoln park. the remains were pulled from the milwaukee river on friday. investigators believe the man had been there for quite some time. the victim's family has been notified-- but his name won't be released publicly until the milwaukee county sheriff's office has finished its investigation. the man shot and killed by new london police on friday - was carrying a toy gun. the department of justice says 31- year-old kole knight used the toy to trick police into shooting him,

knight was suicidal and he knew if he showed a weapon they would shoot him. she says the fake gun belonged to her 14-year-old son. only on fox6 tonight-- unbelievable video of a high speed chase through wauwatosa. the driver hit 97 miles an hour and drove down a sidewalk to try and get away from police. our theo keith picks up the story from there. 05:55 turned southbound on 110th street :59 the driver wauwatosa po missed his turn. 06:00 went off the road on the right, he's back on the road, now headed east bound on derby :06 officers have already been following this guy for several minutes - from tosa, into milwaukee and back. cops know the cars stolen. what they dont know is the driver, 40 year old lucas byrd, is wanted for violating probation. maybe that explains why officers say he was going so fast on hampton west of 91st. 05:34 speeds approximately 85-90 miles an hour :36 the chase winds through a

and liquor" near 47-th and burleigh. the owner says, in total, vandals damaged or stole about 125-thousand dollars worth of property. but there are signs the community is starting to heal. sherman park lutheran church is just 2 blocks from the destruction. their pastors message is one of hope and strength as their neighborhood begins to rebuild - a message he says will withstand any evil. 'it continues this week, next week, is here, were gonna be here for the community, reaching out through the love of christ.' lumin school is connected to sherman park lutheran church. classes start tomorrow. officials say they held a special orientation with parents to assure them their kids will be safe. the sounds of sherman park have also changed since the unrest... local hip-hop artists assembled this afternoon to send a message of peace.

" so, i decided to donate and once i donated the money and i looked at the cards -- i instantly just knew it was a scam." that word "scam" comes up often on the new world foundation's facebook page. even the chairman tyrone williams addresses it. "i would like more participation in the raffle so i could stop hearing that this is a scam."he says he wants to give teenagers jobs - because he knows what life's like when you need money. he spent 16 years in prison for committing an armed robbery. "we raffle draw"every friday night at 7pm - he does a raffle drawing on facebook. he post the winning number - but so far only one winner has come forward. "once i went on facebook to actually see the post he was making like it just really seemed sketchy." dashuntaa johnson isn't the only one who called contact 6. and tyrone williams wasn't surprised when i called him. "kat: you pay these kids, they are no longer volunteers and therefore you need to have a work permit. tyrone: actually there work agreement is part volunteer.. starts to stutter ..and this is not the section i have..i will make sure i get that."he thought his work agreement mentioning some volunteer hours was enough according to the workforce development exeptions- and admits he didn't

finally tonight-- a birthday celebration for bei bei! bay bay the chinese embassy in washington d-c threw the bash at the national zoo in honor of the panda cub's first birthday. bei bei's mom took part in a traditional chinese ceremony-- choosing one of three banners to foretell her cub's future. she chose the banner that represents friendship and luck. the zoo also prepared a giant birthday cake for bei bei. a frozen frui- ingredients. wakeup starts at 4:30! breaking
