respond to a two car crash near buffum and meinecke. calls came in about the wreck around 2:30 this morning. no word yet on any injuries. we'll update you as we learn more. milwaukee police are searching for a sexual assault suspect. it happened near mitchell park. that's where you'll find deandra corinthios live near 26th and pierce. this happene and the domes ...but not in the park milwaukee responded to the area monday afternoon. police tell us the assault was reported around 4 pm when officers arrived they found three juveniles but police believe only one was assaulted. mpd's sensitive crimes unit is investigating at this point no word on any suspects in custoy. reporting live in milwaukee

to be released in waukesha county today. 76-year old fortunato carrion will be homeless after his release. carrion's convictions were in 19-86 and 199-2 for having sex with a child. the crimes were committed against two different victims that carrion knew.. he will now be on the lifte time sex offender registry and he will be on g- p-s monitoring. if he violates the terms of his release, he will be taken back into custody. a death investigation is underway after a two year old in a pool. police were called to the home near fond du lac and main around 2-45 yesterday afternoon. they found a man trying to resuscitate his son. emergency crew rused the little boy to the hospital but doctors couldn't save him. the menomonee falls police and the medical examiner's office are investigating ... but they say the death appears to be an accident. kenosha police are releasing more details about a deadly shooting. it happened on august 21 -- near 67th street and 24th avenue.

year old bernard reavers --- went to visit a neighbor, when he walked in on an armed robbery... and was fatally shot. police are looking for the car in this picture. they are also interested in seeing any home security footage from the area. if you can help, contact kenosha police. milwaukee police are also investigating a fatal shooting... that happened in broad daylight. a 23-year-old man was killed on his way to a funeral. it happened around 12-30 yesterday near 22nd and keefe. fail on their way to bury their grandfather-- when the shots were fired. lamar ragland died on the scene. his gold car was immediately behind the hearse. his cousin thinks that's why he was targeted-- but milwaukee police are still investigating. two other people were also shot. we just want all of this senseless killing to stop. he came down here to bury his grandpa. so how ruthless, and where is your

and 24 years old. they are expected to survive. police are still looking for for the people responsible. now the latest on the investigation into the murder of two nuns in mississippi. one of the sisters was from the milwaukee area. nicole is in the newsroom with details. a mississippi prosecutor may consider the death penalty for a man charged with killing two nuns. but relatives and colleagues of the sisters are expressing opposition to executing the man. a judge denied bond to 46-year-old rodney sanders in brutal murders. sanders has been charged with capital murder... as well as grand larceny and burglary. investigators aren't sure yet if sanders targeted the nuns. the man previously spent more than ten years in jail for armed robbery. sister paula merrill and sister margaret held were found stabbed to death in their rural mississippi home

"want to change the world? there's nothing to it." goodbye to an icon. actor gene wilder passed away in his connecticut home yesterday. he is best known for his iconic roles in "willy wonka and the chocolate factory," "the producers" and "young frankenstein. his nephew says he died of complications of alzheimer's disease. wilder was 83-years-old. wilder was born in milwaukee... and graduated from washington high school. angelica is here in studio wite more details on the actor's wisconsin roots. during his high school years...

fox6 news visited the school yesterday... where we saw wilder prominently featured on the hall of fame. alumni historian linda durrenberg says wilder was inducted into the schools 'hall of fame' back in 2001. he was invited to attend the ceremony... but sadly couldnt make it. wilder spent his free time involved in the schools theater group... juggling his extracurricular activities with this academics. "he was vice president of the washington players and he received a drama award for that. and he was in another review group that washington had at that time." wilder is being remembered for not only bringing laughter into our lives... but also for the work he did trying to improve the lives of cancer patients. 'gildas club,' a national organization was co-founded by wilder after his third wife's --- actress gilda radner --- passed

year old katlyn kinateder pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect to charges of first degree homicide and hiding a body.police say she admitted to suffocating her son... saying she was hearing voices when the child was killed. breaking news from overseas this morning --- after a bombing at the chinese embassy in kyrgyzstan. angelica is here with the new video. local authorities are confirming a suspected suicide bomber crashed a car through the entrance of the chinese embassy. the alleged attacker wound up injuring three embassy employees and killing himself when the bomb detonated. the facility is located next to the u-s embassy. the motive behind the violence is unclear ... but, officials in the former soviet republic describe it as a terror attack. right now investigators were working to identify the man found inside the car after the explosion. around the world --- brazil's president facing impeachment. and italy is observing a second ay of mourning for the nearly 300

earthquake. jessob is in the newsroom with details. residents in italy continue to pick up the pieces from last week's earthquake and now police are battling several cases of looting in the area. italian police arrested two people -- a romanian man and woman-- for allegedly looting the damaged homes. police say the two stole about 300 euros, clothes and other items from homes. 292 people have been confirmed dead from the quakes. meet with the president of turkey later this week. this will be their first meeting since last month's failed coup in turkey. the meeting will be in china at the g-20 summit. the u.s. and turkey are at odds in strategy against isis. obama administration officials have condemned turkey over strikes against u.s-backed opposition groups in syria, calling them a distraction from the fight against isis. the leaders could also talk about the attempted government overthrow.
