police swarm the sherman park neighborhood overnight --- making arrests. this all comes after a crowd gathered for a memorial for sylville smith. this is near 44th and auer-- the same intersection where 23-year-old sylville smith was shot and killed by a milwaukee police officer two weeks ago. police say they received several complaints from neighbors about the crowd of about 30 to 40 people. officers asked the group to leave peacefully.

crowd was asked to leave again. police began making arrests when some refused to leave. they arrested 10 people for disorderly conduct...and for resisting an officer. now to a story only on fox six. two mothers in milwaukee say justice has not been served.. this after their sons were killed in a motorcycle crash. the driver who allegedly hit them was taken into custody-- but hasn't yet been charged. nicole is in the newsroom to explain. the milwaukee county district attorney's office says the case is still under review for additional evidence related to 25-year-old deangelo maxwell and 36-year-old james morris were struck and killed at 6th and mckinley. the driver of the truck who hit them was initially arrested-- but just two days after the wreck was released from custody. a medical examiner's report indicates "two open bottles of alcohol were noted in the back seat of the truck" and "a marijuana pipe could be seen laying on the ground." two mothers who are grieving-- now say they are fighting for their sons-- hoping to see justice. its just a whole lot of

very frustrating. it looks like there is no justice, not when you let a person out. right now -- there's no word on how long the investigation into the crash might take. the mothers are holding a vigil for their two sons tomorrow. now on to a developing story -- milwaukee police are investigating yet another homicide. this is the third one this week. angelica is here in studio with details. two people -- including a after the shooting that left one man dead. it happened a little before one yesterday afternoon near 27th and vine. police still aren't sure why gunfire broke out. but a teenager was one of the victims taken to the hospital. this is the third homicide in the past three days and the 90th in milwaukee so far this year. again the incident remains under investigation. no suspects are in custody. new information on an alleged sexual assault happening in a

44th and auer last night -- that's where the 23-year-old was shot and killed by a milwaukee police officer on august 13th. police say they received several complaints from neighbors about the crowd of about 30 to 40 people. officers asked the group to leave peacefully. about 20 minutes later, the crowd was asked to leave again. some left, but others refused to leave, so police began making arrests for disorderly conduct...and for resisting an officer. developing now --- some lawmakers say the king veterans home has been mis- managed. and they want an investigt government. angelica is here with details. after hearing concerns about the quality of care at the wisconsin veterans home at king... state lawmakers on both sides of the aisle say changes are needed. the comments follow a report from the capital times newspaper. the article claims, some patients, family members and employees have reported understaffing, unsanitary conditions, broken equipment and even residents potentially being over medicated. lawmakers say they want to find out for sure. senator luther olsen/r-ripon

both won in their primaries. wasserman schultz will now likely be re-elected to a seventh term in congress. she used to be the chairwoman of the democratic national committee...but resigned due to leaked emails. sanders supporters say they showed that wasserman schultz had given preferential treatment to hillary clinton in the primaries. then former presidential candidate marco beat out a millionaire developer in his g-o-p senate primary race. when rubio dropped out race for the white house earlier this year he originally said he wouldn't run again for senate...but in a last-minute decision...ended up running for re- election he said he changed his mind because he didn't want the republican- controlled senate to lose power if he didn't run. and in arizona -- u-s senator john mccain beats out a republican tea party activist to win the right to seek a sixth term in november. however, the victory doesn't clear the way to a smooth re-election for mccain. he faces a tough democratic challenge in november's general election from u-s representative
