we're following a couple of breaking news stories right now. first --- a car is left mangled after crashing on milwaukee's lower east side. it happened this morning near jefferson and knapp. let's go live to deandra

milwaukee county medical examiner's office confirms it is investigating a possible co-sleeping death. a one-month-old died at a home near 40th and locust. milwaukee police are also on the scene investigating. we're hoping to get more details. we'll continue to update you throughout the day on fox6now.com and the fox6 news app. several arrests near sherman park. it was all after a memorial for sylville smith kim is in the newsroom with details. police say ten people were arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting an officer. this is near 44th and auer-- the same intersection where 23-year-old sylville smith was shot and killed by a milwaukee police officer two weeks ago. police say they received several complaints from neighbors about the crowd of about 30 to 40 people. officers asked the group to

crowd was asked to leave again. some left, but others refused to leave, so police began making arrests. dgx state representative david bowen was reportedly there at the time. he tweeted out-- "i just witnessed aclu observer and state rep jonathan brostoff just got arrested." brostoff was detained but police released him shortly after. we'll have more on his reaction to being detained coming up in a live report at five on wakeup. meanwhile-- a group of kids is looking to make a difference in park neighborhood. the kids first initiative will make a stop in sherman park this afternoon. it's a youth empowerment organization that works to bring resources to young people so that they can become mroe productive. the visit will feature a tablet giveaway as well as discussions for long-term plans for jobs. the activities all start at four o'clock. looking ahead -- the man accused of killing a person outside a milwaukee police station is expected in court for his first hearing. 65-year-old randall drescher is facing one count of first

along with another man were sitting in a van outside the police station at 27th and kinnickinnic earlier this month. officers say those two men got into an argument with 42-year-old reed carlsen. at one point -- drescher allegedly pulled out a gun... shooting and killing carlsen. drescher's court hearing is set for this afternoon. also today -- the final pre-trial hearing for one of the three men charged in the death of 5-year old laylah petersen. carl barrett is scheduled to stand trial next month on reckless homicide inside her home back in november of 2014 investigators say barrett and arlis gordon were looking for revenge -- and opened fire on the wrong house. gordon also faces homicide charges. his trial is set for october. paul farr -the accused getaway driver - is charged with aiding a felon. one man is dead and two others are injured after a triple shooting on the city's north side. milwaukee police were called to the scene near 27th and brown

injured are expected to survive. this is the third homicide within the past two days -- and the 90-th this year. police are still investigating a motive...and no word on any suspects yet. they don't know what killed her... but family members know how kristina fee-brink fiebrink would up in a milwaukee county jail cell. now they're speaking out - angelica joins us now with the latest. kristina fee-brink 's family is speaking out... and warning others to stay straight and clean after the woman's death inside a cell. 38-year-old kristina was in custody for resisting an officer after police tried to arrest her on a felony warrant. she spent four days in jail before she was found unresponsive. fiebrink's family say she was addicted to drugs-- and they want others to learn from her situation. they are using elephant tranquilizers to try and cut the heroin now fentanyl which is so much more potent its time we start changing and being a good example

once again the cause of her death is still being investigated... the medical examiner has conducted an autopsy but the results are currently on non-disclosure. through july, the medical examiner has certified 161 drug overdose deaths. thats up about ten percent from 20-15. now the latest on a fatal stabbing happening on milwaukee east side near brady street. friends held a vigil last night for the victim outside the bar where he was pulaski early monday morning. 32-year-old shawn ostrom was a chef at the pfister hotel. police have arrested a 45-year-old man from oak creek and a 20-year-old man from greenfield. both are accused of killing ostrom after a fight. new information on an alleged sexual assault happening in a milwaukee park --- police say it never happened and the victim made it up. a 12-year-old girl told milwaukee police she had been sexually assaulted

some did...but other still refused. that is when police started making arrests --- in the end 10 people were taken into custody. police had the scene cleared by 9:45 p-m officers continued to patrol the area after that...and no further issues were reported. you decide coverage now -- democratic presidential nominee hillary clinton's emails are back in the spotlight. and -- republican presidential nominee donald trump is heading to mexico. angelica is in the newsroom with details. donald trump will be meeting with mexican pres pena neito." the meeting is scheduled just hours before trump is set to deliver a major immigration speech. he's been trying to clarify his stand on illegal immigration. trump has been calling for the deportation of people currently living in the u-s illegally. president pena nieto's office tweeted that both trump and hillary clinton have been invited for meetings. meanwhile -- law enforcement sources say the f-b-i could publicly release its report on the hillary clinton email investigation -- as
