the lawyers for the girls charged in the slenderman stabbing case are hoping to change the details of their trials. this week they filed motions and requests -- that could impact the jury. beverly taylor has this developing story. it's been more than two years since morgan geyser and anissa weier, then 12 years old, were accused of stabbing a classmate to appease the fictional character slenderman. girls, charged with attempted 1st degree intentional homicide, are focused on where the trial should take place and who should hear it. morgan geyser's want a change of venue -- meaning hold the trial in a different county. they cite that despite national media attention for this case, there is more "interest and exposure to prejudicial details of this case in waukesha county,-- making a fair trial there unlikely. their preference: an area that has shown less interest.

angelica's breaking down the latest marquette university law school poll in studio. according to the newest poll... democratic nominee hillary clinton is still in the lead - but by a much narrower margin. she's ahead of republican nominee donald trump by 3 points. compare that to last month... when she was up by 15. the poll's director, charles franklin, says clinton's weakest point with wisconsin voters is "honesty." there may have been a sense that it was fine to let trump be trump because that was thought to be damaging in early august, but i think more recently, it raises the question is an effective strategy. a second wisconsin poll from monmouth university seemed to confirm a close presidential race. but in wisconsin's u-s senate race, the two polls split. marquette showed russ feingold leading ron johnson by just three points. but monmouth had feingold 13 points ahead. meanwhile... libertarian
