whitewater. the fire happened on burr oak road. several departments were called in to help... but the home was fully engulfed in flames by the time they got there... and is considered a total loss. the people who live in the home were at a restaurant when the fire happened. stay with fox 6 and fox6 now dot com for the latest details on that fire. a new lead in case of a baby shot on i-43 in milwaukee county. investigators are now looking for a very specific car... julie collins joins us live from port washington and hampton ave -- with developments -- julie? the milwaukee county sheriff's office developed a description after shooting. and they say this is the car wanted: a maroon or dark red lincoln m-k-s or m-k-z. they say someone in this 4-door sedan fired shots at another vehicle at near i-43 and hampton. the suspect car then exited at hampton-- headed east. the car hit by the gunfire-- also exited at hampton. a 2-month-old girl in carseat

church's early childhood center... and was responsible for collecting tuition payments from parents. some of those payments were cash... and police sa fischer used the money to buy tickets to a garth brooks concert... and spent the money at burlington coat factory, v-i-p nails and mattress firm. her former employer says none of these purchases were authorized. the church has since changed policies to prevent something like this from happening again. happening now - kenosha police are investigating three bank robberies. angelica's following this story and angelica- they all connected? yes - because all three banks were robbed in a span of 35 minutes yesterday afternoon. the suspect hit the chase bank on washington road first-- then, another chase bank on 6th avenue.... and ended at the johnson bank on 60th street. police say the suspect description appears to match in each case... but the man would have needed to move quickly. the first location was robbed at 1:56... and just 12 minutes later... he hit a location more than two miles away. the third location--

description should call the milwaukee county sheriffs office. as for the injured child - she was taken to children's hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. reporting live in glendale this morning -- julie collins. fox 6 news. developing this morning - a former milwaukee police officer... facing new charges. heel-bear-toe co-ya-doe gilberto collado - was tazed after he tried to run from a traffic stop.it happened last week near 10th and layton last week. in his car, police found a stolen pistol that appeared to be modified for smoking crack cocaine. last month, collado was arrested ne threatening the mayor. police say when he was taken into custody-- he was carrying a bag with an ax inside. also developing - a fond du lac county judge recuses himself from the dennis brantner case. back in june-- brantner's trial for the murder of berit beck ended with a hung jury. yesterday's hearing was to discuss the possibility of a re-trial-- which is when judge gary sharpe announced he would step aside. he said his impartiality could be questioned-- based on comments he made outside of court. beck disappeared in 19-90 when making
testimony continues today for michael morgan. morgan is accused of setting a house fire that killed two children last october.. his trial had been suspended since last week-- after a witness for the prosecution never showed up. the witness was eventually found -- and is being held in the milwaukee county jail on unrelated charges. yesterday.... the victims' grandmother gave her testimony. it was her home that was set on fire. "we had the locks changed-- but we could not change the back door locks.. so he s back door. morgan faces numerous charges including reckless homicide. more than two dozen dogs... rescued from a home that was supposed to take care of them in the first place. angelica's in studio with more on the couple arrested... for mistreating 26 dogs in racine. those dogs are now being cared for at the wisconsin humane society. they were removed from a home that police say was covered in feces and had a strong odor of urine.
boyfriend terry bogard are charged with 26 counts of animal mistreatment. neighbors say they had complained to law enforcement since june about abuse they say they witnessed. they were keeping dogs in their van and they were leaving them overnight in their cages and there was an extreme amount of them. court documents show jensen was running a foster home for dogs out of her house called lucky mutts. but the department of agriculture trade facility never received the proper license from the state. according to lucky mutts' facebook page... jensen had served as the president of the dog rescue group. she has since been removed from her position. although the dogs are at the wisconsin humane society... they are not up for adoption. they are on a law enforcement hold while the criminal investigation is underway. but that could change as the case moves forward. in the meantime... you can still help the humane society care for the dogs. you can find out how to make a

garland's nomination has been in limbo for six months now. police issue a warrant for a donald trump supporter... who was seen attacking protesters at a north carolina rally monday. witnesses say thomas vellanti junior went after several protesters who started shouting during the asheville rally. at one point, witnesses say vellanti grabbed one protester by the neck and possibly threw a punch. it's unclear if the protester was hit. witnesses also accused vellanti of trying to grab a second protester the rally. he was not asked to leave at any point. the trump campaign has not commented on the incident. meanwhile... donald trump will be making a campaign visit to flint, michigan today. the city has made headlines for its lead-contaminated drinking water. critics say cost-cutting measures led to the tainted water. and lawmakers from both major parties say what happened in flint is a prime example of government mismanagement and an aging infrastructure that must be
