into a crowd back on july 14th -- killing 86 people. boo-ehl was shot and killed by police. investigators now say the suspects they arrested this week... are linked to boo-ehl. new details are emerging about the suspect arrested in connection to the bombings in new york and new jersey. nicole is in the newsroom with reaction from the suspect's childhood friends. 28-year-old ahmad khan rahami is being held on five point two million bail. those who knew the suspect... say they are shocked by his arrest in connection city and new jersey. hernandez says: "i knew him growing up. i used to come here and hang out with his brothers and he was always around." jones says: "he got more religious, that's the only change i seen, more mature, more religious." rahami is charged with five counts of attempted murder. police found him sleeping in a bar in linden, new jersey yesterday morning and captured him after a shootout... which injured two

in elizabeth, new jersey... while the suspect recently traveled to afghanistan and pakistan... he has no known ties to terror groups. federal prosecutors say they're still weighing charges connected to the bombings that injured 29 people in new york saturday night. meantime, authorities say the minnesota mall attacker appears to have acted alone --- .in what the f-b-i is calling a "potential act of terrorism." federal law enforcement sources say dahir adan injured 10 people before being shot dead by an off-duty police officer saturday. an isis-linked news agency praised the attacker as a quote "soldier of the islamic state." the terror group's claim hasn't been independently verified.... a fight ends in gunfire on milwaukee's north side. around 1-45 this morning police were called to the area of holton and chambers streets. investigators say a 24 year old woman got into an argument. that's

she was treated by the milwaukee fire department on the scene and refused any further medical treatment. police have not released any information about arrests but say they know who they are looking for. later today --- a milwaukee man will learn his fate for shooting a teenager in the parking lot of wisconsin lutheran high school. last year, police say 37-year-old michael riley shot a 15-year-old boy in the knee-- and grazed a teacher. both victims survived. according to court documents-- it all started when riley's daughter got into a fight with another student after a basketball game. riley faces several degree reckless injury. riley's sentencing is scheduled for later this morning. a milwaukee mother facing child abuse charges. 24-year old kiara key-are-uh patterson allegedly subjecting her infant to medical tests the child did not need.prosecutors say she took her infant to four different hospitals and urgent care facilities a total of 21 times since birth. doctors say the child was fine. according to the criminal complaint,

underwent were invasive, painful and exposed the baby to radiation. the child was also allegedly 'given medication that may not have been necessary.' her lawyer said our deadline on this story was too soon... and declined to comment. an off-duty milwaukee police officer find himself on the other side of the law after being arrested for drunk driving-- and accused of rear ending a squad car. mpd confirms it happened saturday afternoon near 76th and florist. the squad car was stopped at an intersection-- when it was hit from behind. 48-year- old woman-- who's been an officer with mpd for 22 years. investigators say she was off-duty-- but under the influence. neighbors of the officer says the incident doesn't fit her character. "very kind-hearted, her children come first her family comes first. as neighbors, i grew up with her she is like a mom to me." butted with "she still is a person on the other side of her job. she knew she did wrong

the officer works at district four and has been suspended. her name is not being released at this time. the officer in the squad that was struck was taken to the hospital for minor injuries. we are learning more details about a plane crash in door county that killed two people. officials say a volunteer pilot was returning a teenage flying student to door county from green bay around 8- 30 sunday night. witnesses saw the plane circling and called 9-1-1. it took about an wreckage in peninsula state park. federal officials are investigating. looking ahead --- the milwaukee air and water show will be coming back next year! it was canceled this year because of funding and scheduling conflicts. a news conference is scheduled for tomorrow to announce the details of the show. we already know the "blue angels" will be back as the headliner. the 20-17 show will take place on july

news out of racine county this morning. there's a heavy police presence on sheridan road near 1st street in racine county. as part of the investigation, the southbound lane of sheridan road has been shut down between 1st street police may have arrested the man accused of planting a series of bombs in the new york region, but his motive is still unclear. this morning we are learning the wife of suspect left the united states a few days before the attacks. u-s investigators are working with officials in pakistan and the united arab

milwaukee leaders come together ... to talk about the relationship between police and the black community. state senator lena taylor ... and president of the police association mike crivello ...were among those on a panel at city hall last night. panel members said they want to build trust ... and ensure justice for all people. not easy things to accomplish ... but talking about there's no question that in a community that's very segregated that access to justice for all has been challenging. the panel is urging community members to make their own voices heard through already existing venues -- like monthly police crime alert meetings. as milwaukee heals from the unrest in sherman park --- the a-c-l-u is educating community members about how to improve their interactions with
