being shot multiple times. the shooting happened just before 10 near 37th and townsend. officials say its unclear what led up to the shooting...and the victim is in "very critical condition." police continue to search for a suspect. two teen girls are in serious condition, but recovering after they were attacked by pit bulls. it happened in brown deer yesterday afternoon. police were called to 48th and west dean road. authorities say the dogs lived in the same home as one of the victims. brown deer police shot both dogs -- one died on scene. the other dog was taken by madacc -- the euthanized. owning and operating a car in milwaukee county could soon cost you more under a proposed new wheel tax the county executive says the tax...would fund public transit. deandra corinthios is live from the milwaukee county courthouse with more. county executive chris abele wants to tack on an extra 60 dollars a year...to the registration fee for milwaukee county residents. he says it is the county's only

abele says this will generate 27-million dollars a year for milwaukee county. he says its enough to fund all the countys transportation infrastructure costs, annual bus replacements, county highway and bridge repairs. it will also help preserve the 'go pass' program, allowing seniors and the disabled to ride the bus for free - or at a significantly reduced but county supervisor michael mayo doesn't support the increase. he and the rest of the county board will take their first official look at abele's 2017 proposed budget next week. "the funding that we get from the state for transit stil in 2009, as the state paying less the county has paid more. in fact the county has backfilled millions of dollars to make up for that cut in state funding" 'cmon! i know that we need revenue, i want transportation to keep going, but that is really a lot. abele's 2017 proposed budget will be released to the public

have yet to determine the cause of a horrific train crash in new jersey. one person was killed and more than 100 were injured. the train's engineer has been identified as 48-year-old thomas gallagher. he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. gallagher's family was escorted home. neighbors say it is tragic terms for a wonderful family. officials continue to investigate and believe speed may be a factor. activists in california are calling for police to release the full video of a deadly officer involved shooting in el cajon. still images of the the scene show 38- year-old alfred olango pointing an e-cigarette at police, before they shot and killed him. police say olango would not take his hands out of his pockets and entered a "shooting stance." a rally

so far no lawsuits have been filed against the police department or the officer who shot olango. and residents in arizona are seeing more anti-racism, anti-violence billboards. the signs depict a white police officer and a black man separated by words like "hope, not hate" and "respect, not racism." it's the work of local reverend who hopes the message of peace will help stop the violence. at least 15 of the billboards are expected to be up by the end of the week. caribbean....and has already strengthened to a category two storm. tropical storm matthew is now hurricane matthew. it's the fifth hurricane of the 2016 atlantic hurricane season. the storm picked up strength about 190 miles away from the caribbean island country of curacao. swells generated by matthew are expected to affect portions of the coasts of puerto rico, aruba, venezuela, and colombia. maximum sustained winds have

the bye week continues for the packers as they won't play until october 9th when the giants come to lambeau field. in the meantime, during the packers 34-27 win over the lions, a 66 yard pass interference call was made on detroit's nevin lawson. the play led to a packers touchdown. today, lawson said that the nfl said that the call was wrong and no flag should have been thrown. either way, the packers offense

and s-n-l has elected a new man to play donald trump. alec baldwin will be the new face of political satire as he takes on the role of the donald. he will begin the new gig opposite of kate mckinnon who plays hillary clinton. and while baldwin is no stranger to s-n-l. hosting the show 16 times-- he has never impersonated trump. and he will have some big shoes to fill-- following impersonators such as phil hartman and darrell hammond. this isn't the first time the late night sketch show has hird tina fey-- portraying sarah palin being one of the most noteworthy. will baldwin be as memorable? we'll have to wait and see. all anchors chat/toss to 6am
