breaking news this morning. a 10 year old boy from wauks police have been searching through the night...and hundreds of people in the community are helping. no one likes to have their child go missing. it always hits ya when you hear someone's child is missing. we all have kids. we all are here for the community. so that's why i'm doing it. volunteers started showing up at waukesha west high school

in there they head to the command center to be assigned an area to start looking. deandra corinthios joins us live where authorities are searching by land and air. 10 year old andrew ounkham is on the autism spectrum.he was last seen around 3:45 pm sunday...running into a cornfield behind his home. this is andrew ounkham southwest waukesha neighborhood near stillwater circle and oxbow drive. first responders used k9 officers...a drone... a fire engine ladder and heat sensing technology in the search.

anyone who would like to participate in the search this morning come to waukesha high school at 6 am...and enter through the pool doors. they'll be given an area to search. reporting live in waukesha deandra corinthios fox6 news. dozens of school buses-- destroyed after a massive fire at a bus er garage in the town of merton today-- trying to determine what sparked the blaze. kim is in the newsroom with details. we're told the dousman transportation company has sufficient buses at another facility to accommodate the children needing transport this morning -- so we're told there should be no disruption in service for schools today. the four-alarm fire started just before one yesterday afternoon. several fire departments responded to this scene....some crews stayed for six hours. a dousman transportation bus driver came to the scene...and is devastated by the damage

about 50 employees here. some of them, its their only job....this company is phenomonal...phenomanal. a company that takes care of everybody." the cause of the fire is under investigation. the father of 6-year-old who shot his brother will be in court today. into custody for owning a firearm as a felon -- and leaving that firearm near a child. last month-- a 9-year-old boy was shot inside a home by his 6-year-old brother while playing with a gun. the 9-year-old was seriously hurt-- and at last check he's still recovering at children's hospital. the boys' mother "nicole jackson" has also been charged. phillips prelim set for 1:30 this afternoon. friends and family are mourning the shooting death of a four year old boy. more than a dozen people gathered near 15-th and north

he was struck by a bullet fired inside a home on friday night. family members say the boys name was jordan. milwaukee police have not said if any arrests have been made in this case... nor have they elaborated on the circumstances surrounding the death. the investigation remains ongoing. milwaukee residents will have the opportunity to speak out about public safety issues this month. angelica joins us now in studio with more. community-based organizations will be providing feedback to city leaders today about the safety citizens are asked to provide ideas, input, and potential solutions to issues plaguing the city. today's meeting will be taking place at city hall at 9 this morning. the next hearing will be held at marshall high school on saturday. and later today -- milwaukee county executive chris abele will make the case for his 2017 budget. he's scheduled to speak in front of the county supervisors this afternoon. the budget was made public friday. abele says he wants to invest in programming for at-risk teens-- increase the hours at crisis resource centers -- and provide

breaking news in the death of a 4-year old boy in milwaukee. police are now saying based on the evidence it is believed solomon jordan smith shot himself on friday night. family members held a vigil for the child near 15th and north on sunday. the child's 21-year mother was arrested for leaving a firearm within reach of a child. she was later released and expected to meet with the milwaukee county district attorney's office next week to review charges. waukesha for a missing 10-year-old boy. he was seen running into a cornfield. deandra corinthios is live in waukesha with the latest the 10 year old is on the autism spectrum and is non verbal. there are concerns because the fox river runs near the cornfield where he

today after a massive fire at a bus barn in merton. nearly three dozen school buses were destroyed in the blaze. angelica is in the newsroom with details. investigators plan to return to the bus barn today... after a total of 35 buses were destroyed. it was a four-alarm fire -- and crews from across waukesha county trucked in water to fight the flames. it happened at dousman transport company. some
