milwaukee police investigating an overnight robbery at a restaurant near u-w-m. police say the manager of the halal guys was locking up shortly after 2 this morning on oakland avenue. that's when a man with a dark object in his hand forced the mana the building. the suspect took 3-thousand dollars from the safe and then ran away. we're working to get more information on that suspect's description. today it becomes official...two of the world's biggest brewers are merging anheuser-busch inbev purchases sab-miller for more than a hundred billion dollars. deandra corinthios is near the miller brewery in milwaukee with more. this comes after investors around the world approved the deal at the end

control almost a third of the global beer market. anheuser-busch inbev is the maker behind budweiser and other brands. s-a-b-miller has co-owned millercoors with molson coors since 2008. as part of the merger deal, s-a-b- miller is selling its portion of millercoors to molson coors, which will now become the sole owner of the company. acquiring s-a-b miller gives a-b in bev a large presence in africa...while increasing its business in south america and europe. a business will continue as usual in milwaukee. there's not much overlap between molson coors and miller coors. this means brands like miller lite, miller high life, leinenkugel's and blue moon will continue to be brewed in miller valley and will not have any affiliation with anheuser-busch inbev. the merger will be approved overseas today-and then tomorrow in the u-s because today is columbus day...and us banks are closed. reporting live in milwaukee

record-- previously sentenced to four years in prison in a failed murder plot. the two officers responded to a domestic disturbance call saturday. but police say felix refused to let the officers into the house and then shot them through a closed door. a third officer was also shot and is expected to recover. a vigil is planned for tonight for five teens-- killed in a crash in vermont over the weekend. all five were high school juniors. they were riding in one car when a man driving his truck the wrong way on th when a police officer left his vehicle to attend to the scene, the car was stolen. the person who stole the car got into another accident near the first one and is now in custody. hurricane matthew is long gone but the devastation is still being felt in the u-s and caribbean. angelica joins us from the newsroom with the latest. during a press conference this morning north carolina's governor says the death toll in his state from hurricane matthew now stands at ten.
