in a somber tone, chief ed flynn says the alleged behavior of his officer is extremely disappointing. while its a separate investigation from the sylville smith shooting, flynn says he knows many in the community will tie the two together, which hurts the entire department. the alleged assault that sparked this investigation happened during violent protests near sherman park... officer dominique heaggan-brown enters court thursday as a defendant accused of sexual assault. heaggan-brown was taken off patrol after shooting sylville smith on august 13. police say smith pointed a gun at officers. less than 48 hours later, heaggan- brown drops someone off at saint joseph hospital, telling security that person is 'completely out,

person comes to, hospital staff tells police the alleged victim reports drinking at a bar that night with heaggan-brown - adding they 'watching television as coverage of the sherman park protests aired.' afterward, they went back to the officers house, where the victim alleges he was repeatedly violated even though he tried telling heaggan- brown to stop...only to have the officer say 'what are you doing, what are you doing, you are mine now.' through heaggan-browns phone. they find messages with two other individuals who tell police heaggan- brown offered them money for sex. investigators also find explicit photos of a fourth person - who recalls waking up in bed at heaggan-browns house after a night of drinking wearing only boxers. that fourth alleged victim says he did not give heaggan-brown permission to take those pictures. investigators also find a message sent to a sergeant reading 'not so good got a separate situation. need your

your help big time.' chief flynn says the communication between heaggan-brown and that sergeant is also under internal review but right now, its his understanding the sergeant did nothing wrong, reporting the message up the chain. heaggan-brown has been on paid leave since august 13 but is now also facing internal charges. flynn say because its in accordance with state law. live at police headquarters, a.j. bayatpour, fox 6 news. in a statement -- mayor tom barrett stood by the decision to charge the officer ... saying quote... 'no matter the rank or circumstances, milwaukee police officers must be held to the highest standards of conduct." police association president mike crivello also putting out a statement.... saying -- "in any large organization there may be a time that one, or a few discredit the overall; this is

majority of good officers." this case is not like most other officer- involved shootings in one important respect... the officer and the person he shot reportedly knew each other. they both hail from milwaukee's central city. and a twitter account we discovered shows officer heaggan- brown is not like most police officers you've seen. fox six investigator bryan polcyn has the story. 24-year-ol milwaukee police department as a police aide in 2010. he became a probationary officer in 2013. and his probationary period was extended for 97 days in 2014. a twitter account he used from 2012 to 2014 shows the aspiring cop felt he had "a lot to prove." that "the

and a degree." but during his time as a police aide, he also tweeted about "thug love"... getting high... and having sex with someone else's girlfriend. in january of 2013, he wrote, "if your not comfortable with a pistol, its not worth having it, so use it play wit err chance u get so when its time u ready." and the next month, he tweeted, 'karma comes quicker for a racial slur on the other side of the gun."bryan polcyn, fox six news. heaggan-brown was sworn in as a milwaukee police officer. however, the account was active until shortly after the smith shooting. it has since been taken down. chief flynn had a lot to say in his news conference this afternoon. we've posted the entire thing on the home page on fox6 now dot com and the fox6 news app. ivanka trump campaigning in wisconsin for her father today

officer is now back to work after he was sucker punched in the chin by an inmate. the sheriff describes the incident as an unpredictable and unavoidable attack. video shows two corrections officers escorting a new inmate in the facility. identified as 17-year-old deonte anderson strikes the officer before he was subdued. the officer suffered minor injuries. president obama declares a federal disaster in 10 western wisconsin counties hit by torrential rains in september. walker calls the federal assistance a "welcome relief" as local governments work to repair the 11-million dollars in damage done to roads
