our big story at eleven... a milwaukee police officer is behind bars accused of sexual assault he is the same officer who shot and killed sylville smith in august-- leading to unrest in the sherman park neighborhood. our deandra corinthios has more from the police administration building. dominique heaggan-brown is not only being charged criminally...he could soon lose his job. right now he is being held in jail on a 100 thousand dollar bond. heaggan brown made his inital

he is accused of sexual assault, prostitution and taking intimate photos without consent. and he is accused sexually assaulting a man just one day after the sylville smith shooting. after the shooting...brown was taken off patrol duties according to a criminal complaint--one night later ...heaggan- brown went to a bar with the victim and watched protests on television. the victim says he woke up to heaggan-brown sexually assaulting him. heaggan-brown is accused of having three other victims. chief ed flynn held a news conference thursday and called the alleged actions appalling. heaggan-brown is suspended from the milwaukee police department and because of state law, that pay. yesterday, the fire and police commission also discussed the fate of another officer charged with sex crimes. chief ed flynn wants to fire son-than-a raja- foo-mee. investigators say raja- foo-mee approached two

month. mayor barrett says allegations of this nature are taken seriously-- both by mpd and the da's office. he says "no matter the rank or circumstances, milwaukee police officers must be held to the highest standards of conduct." meanwhile, the president of milwaukee's police union points out, this case "is by no means reflective of the overwhelming majority of good officers." new at eleven.. examiner is investigating a suspicious death on milwaukee's south side. it happened near 18th and rogers. officials say an adult man is dead. an autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow. no other details are being released at this time. stick with fox6 news, on-air and online, for any updates. in racine, police make an arrest after the swat team is called out to a home. investigators say about eight last night someone called police saying their daughter was being held

and today's assault is widely seen as a diversionary counterattack. blinken says: "..once mosul is liberated, the job won't be done, there will still be important pockets of daesh although it will be a major, major advance." the u-s is providing assistance in the form of airstrikes and advisors on the ground. still - the task to push isis from mosul is dangerous... the military says an american service member was killed by an i-e-d thursday. blinken says: "..the city has to be stabilized including dealing with land mines and other bombs bringing back electricity, water etc., security and then there are going to be governance issues as well to deal with so all of that is going to take some time." on cam tag iraq's effort to re-take mosul is the largest military operation since the u-s-led invasion 13 years ago. mosul is isis' last major isis stronghold in the country. in jerusalem, john huddy, fox news. u-s secretary of defense ash carter is visiting turkey today.

there were even swastika's spray- painted on the building. the same words were spray-painted on a second mosque as well. the f-b-i is now assisting in the investigation. the u-s department of education has opened an investigation into baylor university for nine violations. baylor has been under fire for years for its ongoing handling of sexual assault allegations against student- athletes. a recent outside review determined school administrators contributed to a hostile environment fo coach-- the athletic director-- and president ken starr all got fired. baylor officials say it will cooperate fully with the investigation. new york's attorney general eric schneider-man says his office will not investigate the death of a 66-year-old woman. police in the bronx fatally shot "deborah danner" on tuesday night....after being called to her apartment over reports about an "emotionally disturbed" person. they say she was armed with

are underway in union grove for "the great pumpkin chucking fest." the contest kicks- off tomorrow... with teams launching pumpkins using catapults-- sling shots-- and air cannons. each team will be judged on machine design-- team distance-- and accuracy. in addition to pumpkin chuckin', fest-goers can check out the "best in the midwest" barbecue cook off. one competitor says the cook-off competition is going to be tough this year. our big story at 11-30... the milwaukee police officer who fatally shot sylville smith in august...is accused of sexual assault and prostitution, in an unrelated case. smith's family and community activists say they are outraged. our deandra corinthios has more from the police administration building. accused of raping a man on august 14th... the night after he killed smith while on duty near 44th and auer. the shooting sparked violent protests that weekend near sherman park. during the public comment portion of thursday's fire and police commission meeting... several people with ties to the sylville smith investigation spoke up... questioning why they're still waiting on answers in smith's death... while the officer who shot him

heaggan-brown is suspended from the milwaukee police department. he made his initial appearance in court thursday accused of sexual assault, prostitution and taking intimate photos without consent. smith's cousin says he's glad haeggan brown is off the streets... but says it should have happened a long time ago. body camera footage of the shooting of sylville smith has not been released...the d-a says they are still reviewin warrant unsealed this week... giving authorities permission to go through smith's cell phones as part of a drug investigation..but no charges have been filed there. this case is not like most other officer- involved shootings in one important respect... the officer and the person he shot reportedly knew each other. they both hail from milwaukee's

discovered shows officer heaggan- brown is not like most police officers you've seen. fox six investigator bryan polcyn has the story. 24-year-old dominique heaggan- brown was first appointed to the milwaukee police department as a police aide in 2010. he became a probationary officer in 2013. and his probationary period was extended for 97 days in 2014. a twitter account he used from 201 cop felt he had "a lot to prove." that "the dope game" wasn't for him. instead he was "chasing a career and a degree." but during his time as a police aide, he also tweeted about "thug love"... getting high... and having sex with someone else's girlfriend. in january of 2013, he wrote, "if your not comfortable with a pistol, its not worth having it, so use it play wit err chance u get so when its time u ready." and the next month, he
