down. milwaukee police are investigating a murder at "mike's place." angelica joins us from the newsroom with the latest. m-p-d says they found a man's body inside the bar at 35th and silver spring around 1-30 yesterday afternoon. family members say the victim is mike patton, the owner of that establishment. they say patton was proud to own his own business. but his mother says at a family gathering just last saturday, he told her he was thinking about giving up the bar and starting over somewhere else... the grill back there and he was saying mama, im thinking about going to ohio and i said go, i want you to go, leave here. milwaukee police say they're working to establish a motive and to identify suspects. family members say patton is survived by his fiancee and seven children. kim and jessob. back to you. this comes during a violent day -- as milwaukee police investigate several shootings on monday. officers are searching for
victim was shot during a fight with the suspect. and a suspect is in custody for a murder near 11th and wright yesterday afternoon. police say a 23-year-old man was shot by a 22-year-old man. the motive is unclear. kenosha police also investigating a murder. a 33-year-old man was shot multiple times near 19th avenue and 62nd street. no one has been arrested. if you have any information-- give police a call. milwaukee police are also investigating a shooting where injured. this happened just before 4 yesterday near 12th and scott. police say the 41-year-old victim was shot during a fight with the suspect. the man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. police are still searching for a suspect in that case. we're learning new details about the victims of that triple fatal car crash at 2nd and clyborn sunday morning. officials say a lexus ran a red light, slamming into an uber. 30-year old ashley sawatzke, 35-year old lindsey cohen and 32-year old amy taylor were all in the backseat of the
medical examiners office tells us none of the women were wearing seatbelts. police say the suspected hit and run driver -- a 23-year-old man-- has turned himself in. fox6 is not naming the suspect until he's charged.... but we've learned he has a history of drunk driving... and driving with a revoked license. a 14-year-old milwaukee boy is killed after crashing a stolen vehicle in fox valley. grand chute police say about 11-30 sunday night-- they spotted a case - and began chasing it.. once the pursuit reached speeds of 100 miles an hour, police backed off. that's when the driver lost control and crashed into a light pole at an i-hop restaurant. investigators say the teen had stolen his uncle's car in oshkosh. happening now-- racine county authorities are searching for a missing inmate. they say thomas clod-felter is an inmate at the sturtevant transitional facility. he walked away from a work release site late sunday night. clodfelter is 59 tall, and 186 pounds.
whereabouts - contact law enforcement immediately. the man charged with killing his boss at the jazz cafe in milwaukee will got to trial. jason small faces several felonies -- including first degree intentional homicide in the death of donald lewis. small waived his preliminary hearing yesterday. lewis' body was found in a walled- off section of the cafe basement. thousands of code violations.... and hundreds of thousands of dollars owed to the city. but its all catching up to one milwaukee landlord. fox 6s br more on how city officials are telling him its time to pay up...one-point-25 million dollars to be exact. shaneka brown has lived in this leaky home for just four months her old house was a few blocks away... one home i live in had a gas leak really bad and they never got it fixed properly according to a lawsuit both homes are owned by the same landlord mohommad choudry. hes a slum the milwaukee landlord owns 67 properties in milwaukee. in a
leaders claim he owes 400-thousand dollars in taxes and has nearly three thousand code violations at his properties. take in cash revenue but will not pay for repairs wont pay taxes or insurance so its all revenue no expense 27:32 and then as bills accrue he eventually expects the city to take the property back in tax foreclosure city officials say he also uses fictitious names to purchase homes at sheriffs sales. the city alleges it especially a scheme to defraud the taxpayers of milwaukee we went to his house. but no one was home. city leaders say the game is over...by law...sheriffs deeds must now be recorded. mr choudrys business model of not recording deeds will no longer work so for brown with the leaky roof...its a sigh of relief that her landlord is being held accountable. mr choudry is set to appear for an injunction hearing on november third. that would prohibit him

the victims are two men and two women. investigators are still trying to determine what caused the ride to malfunction. police in california are searching for a suspect who opened fire on a police cruiser. a rookie cop -- who was out on a "civilian ride" -- ended up getting involved in a car chase with the shooter sunday in madera. that's when the shots were fired. the officer's passenger was hit by glass after a bullet went into the windshield...but she is expected to be ok. the police department praised the officer for his calm demeanor, especially while having a civilian passenger in the car. police department "heroic under gun fire. new officer, went through his training, did extremely well. we're so proud of him." the suspect's vehicle was reportedly found abandoned a few blocks away from the chase. an a-r 15 pistol was found inside. police believe two suspects were inside the car - and continue to search for them. a man is dead after jumping into a new jersey river with his two children overnight. troopers were called to the area for reports of a possibly suicidal man jumping
children. officials say they found the man's car near the bridge. the children were taken to the hospital in serious condition. the ex-wife of disgraced subway pitchman jared fogle is suing the sandwich chain. angelica joins us from the newsroom with the details. her lawsuit claims top executives knew of his pedophilia as early as 2004 and should have notified authorities. katie mclaughlin divorced fogle after he pleaded guilty last year to federal charges of child pornography and having sex with min couple's two children suffered emotional distress because fogle's behavior did not become publicly known before she married him in 2010. she said it was devastating to find out subway knew about his behavior, but still started a campaign that sent him into elementary schools. mclaughlin says she is filing the suit to get answers about what subway knew and when its executives knew it. subway has not commented on the lawsuit. kim and jessob. back to you.
kathleen kane to at least ten months in prison. but she could be there for up to 23 months. kane was found guilty of perjury and corruption back in august. she illegally leaked grand jury memos to harm one of her political rivals. the 50-year-old could have faced more than 20 years in prison. but her lawyers argued she had suffered enough after a ruined career and reputation. and a government report says that health care premiums under the affordable care act are going up. next year - premiums for the benchmark average of 22 percent! that means it will cost nearly 300 dollars a month. the hike is being blamed on insurers raising prices and reducing their presence on the exchanges...due primarily to stem losses from sicker- than-anticipated customers.
