south milwaukee is one of many communities with trick or treat hours tonight...5:30 to 7:30 p-m... and registered sex offenders have been made aware...they cannot participate in any halloween activities over the weekend a team of parole officers and u-s marshals went out for trick or treat checks. they had a list of registered sex offenders...and made house visits to see if they were in compliance. if they're not, they are taken sunday -- nine sex offenders in the milwaukee area were arrested for violations. a registered sex offender is not allowed to display any halloween decorations they cannot wear costumes or hand out candy. and their porch lights must be turned off during trick or treating. "they have to be in the house one hour prior to trick or treating starting and they have to remain there one hour when it ends. " you are encouraged to check the

near 10th and juneau. the 18-year-old victim is expected to survive. police believe the shooting was robbery related-- but they don't have any suspects in custody. happening today - state and local election officials will hold a news conference about the state's voter i-d law and the i-d petition process. earlier this month -- a federal judge ordered the state to create documents clearly explaining wisconsin's system for getting voting credentials to people who don't have photo i-d's. those without documentation like a birth certificate can still vote in the november election with ei issued identification card or a temporary receipt from the d-m-v. the university of wisconsin responding to a controversial incident at saturday's badgers game. the school has put out a statement after a fan wore an inappropriate costume at the game. photos on social media depict a fan wearing a black-and-white jumpsuit, a president obama mask and a noose around their neck. the photo was taken at camp randall stadium during a wisconsin vs nebraska football game. the fan was asked to remove the costume
