milwaukee police citing its code of conduct for the firing-- after an internal affairs investigation related to a criminal complaint filed against heaggan-brown earlier this month. that complaint indicated dominque heaggan-brown sexually assaulted four victims. he's also accused of prostitution and taking intimate photos without consent. heaggan-brown was initially suspended from the milwaukee police department - because of these charges -- he has n 24-year-old heaggan-brown is the milwaukee police officer who shot sylville smith near 44th and auer on saturday, august 13th, sparking two nights of unrest in milwaukee. he has not been charged in connection with that shooting... however, smith's family was in court during heaggan-brown initial appearance on the sexual assault charges -- they have been pushing for the former officer to be charged in connection with shooting. milwaukee police say heaggan-brown violated the department's code of conduct-- and that's why he was fired. the code states in part: 'whether on or off duty, department members shall not behave in such a way that a reasonable person would expect that discredit could be brought upon the department, or that it would create the appearance of impropriety or corruptive behavior.' the former officers arraignment on the sexual assault and prostitution charges has been schedule for november 4th. fox6 news. brad thanks julie more breaking news from milwaukee -- after a home goes up in flames near 36th and garfield. the call came in around 3:30 this afternoon. the first and second floors, as well as the attic were all on fire. firefighters say everyone made it out safely. several dogs were also rescued. now to our big story at six. shot to death at a busy south side intersection -- in broad daylight. police -- they know who they're looking for... but they need your help.

greenfield with more. milwaukee police have a picture of the suspect, but they are asking for your help in telling them who he is. a surveillance video captured a picture of a man police say is the suspect. they are looking or him and are asking anyone with information to call them. the corona jewelry store at seventh and greenfield has be many yes incident. monday morning that changed. milwaukee police were called here for a person shot in the chest. the person died soon after. corona jewelry buys gold and is a money transfer store. it's pretty well protected in there. it's glass and its some of its fortified glass which gives the owners some safeguards . i don't know the details of what happened but it is a tragedy milwaukee alderman jose perez

asked to weigh-in regarding a proposed, new "wheel tax" for vehicle owners. the public hearing just got underway. county executive chris abele has proposed setting the fee at 60-dollars.. he says the money generated would be used to help cover various costs, including road maintenance. today, the county board's finance and audit committee approved recommending a wheel tax half that amount-- $30 dollars. we're gonna have to face some really, dire choices. i mean, think bus fares going from two-dollars, to, maybe, eight-dollars, i mean, that wouldn't even be enough. i understand that it was a compromise, and it's something that had to be done. i do thank

special forces.' for the second year in a row, brooks is collecting extra or unwanted halloween candy to send to troops overseas. last year, 56 pounds of surplus sweets made it to iraq, with that son distributing it to his fellow special forces. 'the fact that we were thinking about them and we were appreciating the fact that they are so far away from home, and theyre away from their families. they were delighted.' joanne eibs, a receptionist at the clinic, had a front row seat to all the generosity. people that really werent even patients here. they just stopped in and dropped off candy.' and as the mother of a veteran herself, she knew what those special donations would mean. 'you always want to make sure that they get that special package to open. been down that road. it tugs at the heartstrings for me.' this year, the candy will go to multiple soldiers from the area still serving overseas. helping bring a little taste of home to the other side of the globe. 'i think that they need to know that we are here
