yellow on traffic map = some delays green on traffic map = no delays breaking news this morning -- two iowa police officers are dead following what is being called an "ambush-style attack." angelica joins us live from the newsroom with new information we just learned from a news conference. des moines police say an officer responded to a shots fire call in urbandale shortly at that's when they found an urbandale police officer shot in his police car. he died at the scene. and then 20 minutes later...a des moines officer was also found shot in his car. he was taken to a local hospital where he later died. officials say officers are being doubled up as the threat to police officers continues. there's definitely a danger out there. there's somebody out there shooting police officers. we hope we find them hurt. we don't want anyone in the community to get hurt. but there's a clear and present danger to police officers right

who killed patton--- continues. jay anderson's family takes the first step toward filing a lawsuit against the city of wauwatosa. anderson is the man police shot and killed earlier this year. his family has filed notice-- saying they've seen dash camera video of the shooting and that anderson had his hands in the air when he was shot. it also questions how the police department processed the scene after the shooting. "there was an allegation there was a gun in the vehicle somewhere on the passenger side maybe the passenger wauwatosa police department after the shooting removed the handgun that they alleged was in the vehicle" wauwatosa police say they won't release the video until the d-a decides if the officer should be charged. the case remains under review. game seven of the world series in tonight.. the cubs beating the indians 9 - 3 last night. we'll take a look at the highlights.
